I have been going here for about ten years, great haircut with atmosphere of the old time barbershop.

Went in to get a haircut for the first time. An old Hispanic man who worked there stared me down as I walked in. I said good moning and he just continued to stare me down. He didn't even respond. A girl came around from the back and gave me a decent hair cut. On my way out that same old man stared me down again. I told him to have a good day and he continued to stare me down saying nothing. I got my haircut today by memo, who is the shop owner, and boy was it a disgusting haircut all around. I was rushed through the haircut very very fast and after the cut he apologized for the rush but he needed to go home to attend to a personal matter. I understand that people have lives but it would have been more professional to say hey man I don't have time to give you a haircut rather than sitting me in a chair and messing my whole head up just to get another haircut in. I went back later after the first haircut to have my head shaved and after a few barber's agreed with me that my head was all messed up they could not believe that the haircut came from their shop and from their boss! Stopped in today to get a haircut and waited about twenty minutes. A younger guy came in after me and asked an older male barber, who had someone In his chair, how many ahead. It seems like the younger guy had been there before and the barber knew him. The barber told him there was one ahead of him; me. The barber finished with the customer in his chair and the guy that came in after me walked over and sat down in his chair. The barber looked at me several times, but didn't say anything, so I walked out. It's sad that common courtesy, on the customer that obviously saw me waiting, went ahead of me. Also, poor business practice on he barber. I typically like to use small business and support the community, but based on this experience I will not be giving this place any business in the future! read more

My husband went in for a trim on this sides of his beard and told the barber exactly where he wanted it trimmed, the barber took off more than asked and took an inch off all the way around. $13 for a kids haircut is a little high for me, but they do a good job, service with a smile? I don't think they've heard of it, pretty unfriendly in there especially if you have small children. There was an employee sitting in the waiting chair so I sat my 3 year old son in the vacant barber chair, and was reprimanded by 3 employees... Well you see here, this place is horrible. I'm not even sure what the lady that cut my hair was trying to do to be honest. Half of my head is shaved to a zero (which was not asked for) while the other still has a lot of hair. I'm extremely confused on what my hair is supposed to look like and how someone could think that it looks good or even decent. My family has been making fun of my haircut for the past hour. Best barber shop I've ever been to, they've been around for 22 years so they know what they're doing. I've had thick, curly, course, and wavy hair all my life and I could never grow it out but they helped a lot. I got a razor cut which got rid of all my waves and I can grow it out now. Went in about a month ago, and upon my arrival I walked in to see an older man (I think he maybe the supervisor or owner) I not sure his position there, however he was insulting one of his workers there. The man is extremely rude and unprofessional. I cant believe anyone would yell at their workers in front of their customers. How unprofessional!! he made his worker cry and didn't even bother to see that all the customers where staring at him. Some people really need to get people skills and take courses on how to talk to their employees. I will not go back again simply because I don't like to see workers being abused. I've gone in a few times and the workers seem friendly, however after this Altercation I will never go back. Some people really need to learn how to treat others!! I feel for the employees there. This man has issues and shouldn't be in any kind of management position. read more
