Their Peach Bellini was on the disappointing side: it tasted like a bunch of flavorless slush in a glass. I've definitely had better.

This is a nice place to visit if you want a good meal at a decent price. The food is good, the service is pleasant, and it's rarely busy enough to worry about a line up. It isn't high end dining, but definitely come here if you don't want any fuss over making a meal and enjoy it yourself!

Have to say one of the nicest experiences at a restaurant in a while. We had shopped several hours and got to the restaurant 45 minutes before closing. We never felt rushed to decide and the two staff members were thoughtful and attentive. Sweet potato fries started our dinner and made us hungry for even more! Even diners that do not care for sweet potatoes nibbled till the bowl was empty! After our food arrived, we were checked on twice to make sure we were happy with our meals. The plates exceeded anything we could have expected. The Cuban sandwich was delightful. My Calamari and Shrimp salad was shared with most of out table as I wanted everyone to taste the great combination of the tender calamari with citrus dressing.A bowl of pesto Alfredo was enjoyed by our youngest diner and although she was VERY FULL, she took the tasty noodles home to enjoy for a snack.....she made a comment that she wanted to marry it! Our meal came in under 58 dollars for three people with appetizers, meals and drinks. Good value for our money Our meal

I came in because it had all day breakfast and served beer. I had no great expectations (I'm sorry I know you shouldn't judge a book by its cover) when I walked in the crowd was mixed like walking into Walmart (you have the different types of people but all have the same goal... good deals). Our server came and got our drink order but when I asked what they had on draught she said they don't carry draught beer... Curious draught beer is on their special...? So the first thought in my mind was a Heineken (my safe beer) and I think my partner had a bud. I ordered a Greek wrap with sweet potato fries and my partner ordered breakfast, 2 eggs, bacon, toast, and hashbrowns. Our server was really nice and was trying her best to keep up with all her customers so I was forgiving with the slow service. Our food came out and I was a bit shocked, it looked good I mean really good. My wrap was huge and my fries were pretty good ( you can't make mistakes with yam fries it's pretty simple ). My partner LOVED his meal he said the bacon was the best he's had going out to a restaurant. My first impression of this place was not high because it's a chain breakfast restaurant, plus they were advertising draught beer as a special but they don't carry draught. If you are not a big fan of kids running around like crazy don't step in because I guess no one else minds. When I'm in the West end and in the mood for home style breakfast food I'll come here.

We would go back in a heartbeat, just need to sleep off the food coma for a while. It's bright and airy in spite of the smallish space and the amount of booths and tables, oh and you can sit at the counter. The walls and ceiling are covered in memorabilia, concert banners and what not. The place was absolutely hopping at 12:45 PM, but we were sat in a booth right away. Waters dropped moments later, asked if we needed coffee, tea or whatever else you wanted to drink. Our server was fantastic, explaining and educating us as we were first timers. The food came out piping hot very quickly and our tea ordered after the food was dropped came in a large teapot and hot just like at home. The clubhouse, which I did not have, has house made ham and turkey according to our server. My corn beef had slices of corn beef that did not taste house made, but the sheer volume of meat I couldn't finish, the eggs were cooked perfectly. K's Mexicasa omelette was excellent with the Mexican meat the star. I know why the place is consistently full, it's that good. Definite redo when back in West Edmonton

The corned beef has had mashed potatoes which is different from what I'm used to but it was tasty nonetheless. My husband substituted the pancakes in his meal for pan fried potatoes. The place was super busy even though it was around 2pm and was still packed when we left. They seated us quickly as we were willing to sit at a table but we could've waited for a booth. The servers were friendly and fast which was perfect for us as I needed to get to an appointment. It's a relatively small restaurant with many patrons. It's definitely got that old diner vibe which is always fun once in a while. If you're looking for a solid, traditional diner experience, you can't for wrong with Rockin' Robyn's.

Definitely 50 diner vibes. I loved it. Super fun. Our server was helpful and friendly. Although a little ditsy. Forgot our order after we made it. Forgot our drinks. But nice and super apologetic. We were there for breakfast, so we decided both on the steak and eggs. We both asked for the steak to be done medium rare. My hubby asked for eggs scrambled while I asked for them to be sunny side up. Food came out slowly which was odd because besides us there was only one other couple dining (The weather was nasty outside). Food was tasty. Our steaks were cooked to our liking, and the seasoning was great. My eggs were cooked well. They were probably the most beautiful eggs I have seen for awhile. The home made hashbrowns were fine, but not as good as other places I have been to. I expected better. All in all it was a good experience. The atmosphere was lovely. The food was good and reasonably priced. And our server was nice. Check it out.

I love their cinnamon buns but this time I did not order one. My friend and I came here for supper. It was delicous. I loved my Red Curry Laksa. It was fresh and rich. Loved the red coconut curry sauce. The seafood was a decent portion. My friend liked her falafal but it definately wasn't the best she has had and was eyeing up my curry. Service was OK. I feel like because we didn't order alcoholic beverages, we didn't get service as much as the tables that did. That won't prevent me from coming here again.

Being close to the University of Alberta main campus, many young students compose the clientele of Sugarbowl, but not limited to. The decor is very nice - brick walls and posters, and hand written beer menu, to name a few. Service was very good, professional, and friendly!! Overall good experience, and will return again in the future.
