It was extremely loud, so we called the company back and they came back out. They basically told us that this is how it is. This made no sense since our old fan was very quiet. After a few weeks I called again requesting that they just replace it because we couldn't handle the noise and were actually turning the system off at night because it was keeping us up. I called maybe 3-4 times and left messages over a few weeks and never heard back, so I ended up calling another local company who told me the fan had a known issue and is not supposed to be that loud. He replaced it right away but I had to pay another service fee. This whole ordeal cost me $400 in service fees for something that is under warranty.

I hired Radon Diagnostic Services to install a radon fan in my attic. Fred responded promptly. The fan was installed within about a week. Pricing was reasonable. On retest, our radon level is less than 0.4 pCi/L. Things didn't go 100% smoothly, so I also got to experience their excellent customer support. It was pouring the day they installed the fan. After installation, I discovered a slow leak. I emailed Fred a video of the issue, and he sent someone back the same day to fix it. This company stands by their work. I highly recommend them.

That was fine with us, but we assumed he would be there two consecutive days. We went back the second day and he had never been there. When I called the company, they told me he was on another job and wouldn't be able to finish until the following Tuesday (it was a Wednesday!!). They schedule jobs they can't finish Just to get the work. We were left with no choice but to wait. It was a major inconvenience for us to have to be home to let him in for another day.
