I am actually surprised by the fact that they don't seem to care about the bad reviews that they keep getting. We are going on 4 months now of having a mouse infestation. We have put everything food away into bins and we are very careful about what we're leaving out. Even down to the food for the dog has to be put away. You definitely do not get what you are wanting with this company. If you want dollar traps from the dollar store then you have come to the right place. Every single one of our traps has broken and the mouse is able to get out. They say they will be back. They don't come back for weeks and they don't even bring the stuff. Recommend avoiding this location!! They charged me for services and then simply did not provide them. I paid for wasp abatement with the Orkin guarantee that they will return if the wasps returned within 30 days. I did have the initial visit, and the Orkin pro was wonderful, super knowledgeable, great to work with (thank you, Jordy! You're the best). However, the wasps returned a few days later and I have been calling literally for over the past month trying to get someone to come out. Despite telling me that it was escalated to regional/managers weeks ago, Orkin has completely ghosted me - no one has even called to tell me they wouldn't be able to come. Just very frustrating especially with a newborn at home who the wasps could seriously harm. I'm in the process of disputing the charge with my credit card company and finding a different, reliable company to come actually get rid of the wasps. read more

Bill is the laziest most uninformed pest "professional" I've ever met. insists he can identify a mite problem with his geriatric eyes even though ordain orkins own website says nearly all require some kind if magnification to be identified...put out roach/mice/bed bug traps and refused to give a straight answer for if there is something more specific to be done to detect a mite problem. first insists there's a NOTHING no bugs whatsoever and that those traps would catch them then tries to tell the city in nearly the safe breath that it could be anything, including cat fleas (which would have shown on the traps according to him initially only to turn around saying it could be a multitude of things biting us invisibly (and yet trading for NOTHING). was told THREE AND A HALF WEEKS INTO THIS to contact my doctor even though they could have told me that from the beginning when I started saying it was mites. siss Seriously, Bill is the laziest person I've ever met. straight up a-hole. hope his house gets infested tbh. I absolutely do not recommend. going to my dr to get a note so this POS human and his garbage employer have to actually be accountable for services rendered. not recommended, especially the mamajuevos, Bill. He ONLY knows how to ID cockroach and bed bug INFESTATIONS--good luck asking this mid-life-crisis-career-changed halfwit to do his actual job and identify what IS causing the problem--all he can say is "it's not bedbugs". I had a massive bee, wasp, hornet invasion on my roof of a 3400 sq ft house. I tried to resolve it myself, by purchasing every known bee/killer spray available at various stores and all it did was make the problem a million times worse. So I called every exterminator company within 50 miles that shows online as open 24/7 and handles emergency bee removal, no one would either answer the phone or come out. After spending 2 days on the phone, I called Orkin, out of Georgia. They booked me immediately and the super bee manager or the world Dave out of Wilmington MA showed up within the hour. He provided exceptional service. Very neat, very polite, a positive personality, extremely respectful, highly knowledgeable, and kept at my roof until every last bee/hornet/wasp died. He told me to check back in 24 hours. I did and not one single bee/hornet/wasp could be found anywhere. Dave will be my first call if I ever have another invasion anywhere on my properties. read more

Hired them to treat a mouse issue at my elderly moms house. They put a bunch of sticky boxes around the kitchen which were completely ineffective. Not to mention they charged over $400 for treatment that would have cost about $20 for Home Depot. Mouse ran across my moms foot causing her to fall and break a hip. I tried to request their 100% guarantee. Service manager promised a full refund. They have refunded less than half and are now impossible to reach by phone or email. I had an appointment with them, I cancelled all of my weekend plans in order to have the pest control for my apartment. One guy showed up in a very creepy weird way! and he said let me call the office and then he disappeared! He didn't enter my apartment! Just stepped out of building! I have used this company for 2 visits and I would NOT recommend them. They are impossible to reach on the phone. When the man came out he filled a few holes and left. He told me I had carpet beetles but had no useful info on how to get rid of them. They scheduled and appointment while i was in San Francisco. I tried to email them and calling but couldn't reach them. Someone called me at 4:30am in SF to tell me they were on their way. I called and cancelled that visit. They asked for a review and I gave them a bad one. Someone called me immediately and told me that the first person who came had been fired. He made an appointment for Sat. 4/30 because he had to get it in before the end of the month. He never showed up. I called today to cancel my contract and found it had been cancelled. This company is impossible to work with and I highly recommend you go elsewhere. read more

I joined a program on July 25, 2022 and was told they have 24 hour services on Friday, July 29th I had a gathering and the mosquito were out of control. Some guest left and others went inside. I called Orkin customer services on Friday evening and was told there is no 24 hour service and would have to wait until Monday for service. It is now Monday, I received no email or call to verify a time as to when they were coming to my TODAY????. Just called customer service and was told nothing was scheduled for today and no one was coming due to the reduction of mosquito process will take approximately 10-14 days. This is not what we were told initially. We paid $152 on Monday, July 25th for the initial service...was infested on the the July 29th. We joined the program to pay $99 a month for the remaining seasonal months. We have cancelled our program and will seek other services or do it ourselves. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!!! read more

I couldn't be more disappointed in this company, one thing I really despise is a business that is dishonest. We spent 4,000.00 dollars to get our house mouse proffed. We've had more mice than I've ever seen. The wide opening on the other side of the house that Orkin workers created, could have had my dog killed. He could have ran on our busy street and than killed by a car because of neglegence. We want the money back or we can see you in court. read more

I honestly didn't even want to give this company a 1. Extremely dissatisfied how the associates/managers treat their customers. I've waited on hold for over an hour to have no one answer the phone, once I finally got in touch with an associate I asked to speak with a manager. That was comical, he asked if I would go in "halfsies" on the bill. He then began berating me for the one time I showed up 10 mins late. (My Orkin guy never comes when he is supposed to). They never come on time, bill you for extra visits even though they say and I quote " if bugs creep up in between visits, we will be in your doorstep free of charge!" Instead of helping me with my service he started pointing fingers. This is by far the worst customer service I have ever received and I would never recommend Orkin to family or friends. read more

I called Orkin for a carpenter ant problem at a rental house I own. The original price they quoted was $1000.00 When I said no..that's way too much they miraculously lowered it to $425.00 which sounded better than $1000.00 so I agreed to it. A rep did show up at the very last minute of the appointment time. He sprayed around the house and left some kind of goop in certain places in the house. He was there about a half hour tops. Two weeks later my tenants told me they are still seeing ants so I called to have them come back out. They said they couldn't get anyone out for nearly a month. They only have one guy that covers all of RI and he can't get there any sooner! Meanwhile ants are eating the house! Extremely disappointed.. read more

I called to see if they remove pigeons. They don't (fine), but recommended TruTech Wildlife Company. I figured Orkin is a reputable company, their recommendations are probably solid, and trusted TruTech on the basis of their recommendation. Turns out, TruTech is a terrible scam of a company and I paid them $800 to make my pigeon problem worse. I cannot understand why Orkin is freely recommending them. read more
