You will need to collect cash from your entire group, walk around with a pocket of cash, go to the bank to deposit it so you can pay the credit card bill. This was told to me by the person who answers the phone AND the pro. You are doing the work for the golf course. SECOND: I got the feeling when speaking to both gentlemen that they don't really care if my group plays or not, they have plenty of customers. They really go above and beyond ensuring every detail of your special day is planned and covered. There were a few things that I dropped the ball on and when that happened the Villa was there to pick up the pieces. My bridal attendant Becky. was an absolute all star. I cannot say enough good things about her. She literally had a magic fanny pack filled with things you never knew you'd need. She had a mini fan and lash glue when my lash started to come off, flossers, a safety pin for when I stepped on my bustle and ripped it, you name it she was ready to save the day !!! If you're considering having your wedding here, don't hesitate. I know about 5 people who have also had their wedding here and they feel the same way. I played the Country Club of Halifax with a friend this weekend. Overall, the course was in fine…read moreshape. However: Pace of play was terribly SLOW. One the 10 hole, the group in front of ADDED PLAYERS and split into two groups. The much slower playing four wives in front of the foursome of men. No rangers on the course. Zero oversight. Beer cart is CASH ONLY. Evidently, the owner is a clueless guy that inherited the golf course. He separated the restaurant from the club as running a restaurant proved too difficult for him. Neither my friend or I were carrying cash. No cold beverages for us. Again, the course is terrific. But the management, or lack of, is really killing the place. The owner should sell to someone that knows how to run a course. Too many second generation business owners are spoiled kids that don't have a work ethic. This seems like one of those places.

They don't have a online booking system but honestly it was great because it wasn't over crowded. The pace of play was good and the staff was very nice. The course itself was very hilly and there were a lot of utility poles. Hole 9 over looks the main road so you can see the cars driving by. I did find the net to be pretty small and was afraid that the ball would fly over the net. Luckily that did not happen but something to watch out for! Overall I will come back for a quick game.
