This is the second time I've tried this car wash. The first time I just got the cheapest car wash and didn't expect much. This time, I paid for the $17 car wash and did add-ons, one specifically to get the bugs off the car from a road trip this past weekend. The car still came out with dirt smudges and bugs all over it. I took it to the manual car wash on E McKinley and re-washed it by hand. Now it's spic and span. I feel like I wasted $18 and half an hour of time using this car wash. I will not go back. read more

I love the employees at Ride and Shine as they are always professional and helpful so my stars doesn't reflect on them. I personally love the convenience of this location but I hate the results. My biggest gripe starts with the windshield. I have yet to get a car wash where my windshield came out clean. I always end up having to clean the bugs off. The front grill of my truck tends to still look like a bird buffet after it's washed. The only Red Carpet locations to get the front clean is the full service locations. I could go get back in line and honk my horn and they would wash it again, but these lines and how busy these guys already are it's gonna take a lot of time to wait again. If I could just get a clean windshield after a car wash here I'd give it 4 stars. My wife would love it just so she could get a break from me complaining about my windshield. Ride & Shine is the lesser of the evils in the valley. If you want a drive through car wash probably the best option for a machine type wash. read more

Went to the Ride and shine today on January 11, 2026. I arrived at the location to find the employee, smiling joking with one another, and in the best of moods. It definitely was an uplift to our experience as we often don't experience any engagement with the employees. On this occasion, the employees had candy for the kids and with us all a great day it definitely was a very unique experience after going to ride and shine over the years. This is now my new favorite location and we will definitely be back on the regular. read more

I've been there twice. The first time I drove up there was an issue with the car wash so they were closed. The 2nd time I went there, there was a problem with their machine to pay. I was trying to do the membership too and didn't work. I had to maneuver my big truck out of lane. Luckily I'm a good driver, that would have been a huge issue for many people. They should have just let me go thru and given me a free wash especially cuz I was trying to sign up for membership. I will never go back to this place again. They really need to update their tech there. Seems dated. read more

We like going to this quick car wash when we are on this side of town. The staff usually greet us by waving and thank us for stopping by. Having a monthly pass is so convenient and quick. The wash itself is longer and better than most of the location. Majority of them are well kept. I hardly ever see any trash on the ground. This place has a lot of stalls open for vacuuming/drying area. I definitely recommend getting the monthly pass! read more

I bought the monthly membership pass to keep my car clean and I've been trying out all the Ride & Shine locations in Clovis/Fresno. Unfortunately this particular one in Clovis, there was no attendant to do the primary scrub or no attendant to be found on a Friday morning. The vacuum was weak, tried a different slot to see if it was the first one I chose--nope, the second one didn't suction as the other locations I've been to. Will not be returning to this specific location. read more

Last night I brought my truck through Ride and Shine on Willow and Nees. The car wash ripped off my front windshield wiper, bent the wiper arm and scratched my truck down to the metal. Oh well stuff happens. So..I reported the information to the Manager Rudy. Rudy was disrespectful and told me I couldn't report the incident to my insurance. He said he was ending the conversation because I brought up insurance. I don't think that is even legal but it is certainly unethical. He claimed the scratches were surface only and the windshield arm was not bent despite the wiper in the middle of the windshield. He tried to convince me the scratches were only superficial despite the obvious shiny silver color exposed under the white paint. At one point, Rudy blamed it on my 2016 truck by saying the spring was probably worn out in the windshield wiper and they wouldn't cover it. I reminded him the truck was nearly new. He also said that the car wash would have broken both wipers and the car wash didn't cause the damage. I told him I'm not an expert at aerodynamics but I saw it happen. I also suggested he review the cameras before calling me a liar. When I had the audacity to suggest he check the tape he said he was ending the conversation this time because I was defensive and again confirmed I was not to go to my insurance. According to Rudy brain, I had damaged my $50,000 truck and tried to blame it on the car wash. Then, I somehow managed to sneak past their attendant and stick my arm out in the middle of the car wash to stage the broken wiper on the bug deflector... then get back in... all before the spinning wheel of death sucked me in. Oh and also all of this was done without getting my truck wet inside. Wow pure evil genius on my part I guess. After and email and several calls the General Manager for the Red Carpet/ Ride & Shine called me back. One bright spot was the very pleasant receptionist at their corporate office. The General Manager, Rhea Donahue, called me and told me it would take them three days to investigate. She quickly told me I in fact could go to my insurance and then when on to defend what the Manager had told me about not going to my insurance but said he was not allowed to tell me not to report to my insurance. She also seemingly defended and largely ignored Rudy's behavior I spelled out above. She then told me how to cancel my membership. Not once did she address the employees behavior as inappropriate or try to salvage my business in any way (other than correcting Rudy's statement that is possibly unlawful). I'll update for those interested who may be considering how your experience would likely go. The new Surf Thru on Nees looks pretty nice and I think it's even cheaper for a membership. Probably the worst car wash I've ever been to. No wonder no one was in line on a Saturday - after going through, my car was still extremely dirty, and wet (see pics). How can this place still be in business? As I sat at the vacuums bewildered by the filthy state of my car, I witnessed other washed cars pulling up near me, STILL DIRTY AND STILL SOAKED, so it wasn't "just my car" that didn't receive satisfactory results. Megan at one of the locations in Fresno who is supposed to deal and resolve the business side of the car wash. I've been charged going on 10months of the recurring $20 fee on my CC after I canceled it with them over 14months ago. Megan is completely rude and disrespectful, she hung up on me twice and refused to transfer me to her superiors saying-she is the highest person I can speak with but in the same sentence she told me that she could not issue refunds because she was not an owner. This review is of the willow and nees location. Despite paying for the "best" wash twice now, I have had a terrible wash on two of my cars. The wheels were filthy, no tires shine was applied, and the back and sides were hit and miss clean. Windshield and hood still had some bugs still present. Now, the Shaw and fowler location I've always used when in clovis is a different story, the best wash is consistently spotless, the wheels are cleaned, and the tire shine is always applied. Funny on the Red Carpets website, there is not a provision to contact regarding service. read more

I've gone to Ride & Shine for the past two and a half year but honestly I will never come back. Out of all the negative experiences that I've had here today was the worst of them all. Not only were the vacuums suctioned poorly, while my car was being washed it sounded like rocks were hitting my car!! If that wasn't bad enough when I got out to vacuum my car, IT WAS THE SAME AS I WENT IN or even worse!! When I got home, I had to hose it down and it was cleaner than what Ride & Shine's job. Very misleading. It says full service car wash everywhere yet it's only a drive-through car wash. It lures you into buying the so called full-service automatically renewable option, and then you simply drive through and there's no second part of it other than if you want to vacuum your own car. Bad customer service at the shop itself trying to get a refund or a sticker number in order to cancel online. Didn't give me a sticker to begin with and had to drive all the way back to try to address. The person I spoke to at the red carpet car wash gave me a number at corporate to take this up again tomorrow. That person was very professional and apologized and said that they would address this poor experience. read more

Since my rear windshield wiper was ripped off at this location it has been replaced. Michael B the district mgr and Rudy at the Blackstone location more great communicators. That is the good news the bad news is as soon as they replaced it I drove back through and it ripped it off again this time it did not damage the mechanism just broke my wiper in half. I still have not got a call back on this particular one. There was and has been a string hanging down low at the very end of the wash on the cloth drying brush and as I drove out it wrapped around my wiper and yanked it out again the same way it had before. I spoke to the assistant manager with the red ponytail who had gone out of her way to tape down my windshield wiper down( as I had told her when I was driving in that I didn't want it to get ripped off again.) That it had happened again. She says it happens to some cars. Well, that is not very consoling. She said she would go cut off the string on the drying brush. I told her she had to go to the manufacturer and raise hell but I don't know if that happened. I don't think I want to come here anymore at least not in this car but they keep charging my credit card. If you have a flat back window like a Prius or a Honda CR-Z don't come here. Well, I like Ride and Shines for what they are. No way to avoid water spots on your side mirrors unless you get out and chamois the whole thing, which I never do. I usually roll through a Ride & Shine a couple times a week when I'm close. This is one of the two I know of that have the dryer rolls so a lot of the wtaer is sopped up befor your car hits the sun. I only get out fo my car for the vacuums a couple times a month max. This particluar location is not by favorite one. The dryer rolls are slow and don't seem to fully engage ever. The people at the front (I wouldn't want that job!) always tape down my wipers because they say their system will mess them up... oh.. kay! ONe time I forgot about the tape and now my windshield and wiper arm have baked on masking tape from the hot Summer sun. This one and the FigGarden loop one are the ones I frequent most becuase I come out dryer. It's usually too hot for me to get out and schlep around cleaning my ar because I have to work with the public and my customers would think I just left the gym if I spent 10 minutes wipiing down and vacuuming my car. I us a/c 12 months a year! What bums me out about the whole Ride&Shine process is when you pay monthly (as I do) for two BEST wash subscriptions - there's like $4 difference from Good to Best - you STILL get no break when you go to a real Red Carpet Car wash. Being a monthly subscriber gets you nothing. They need to fix that and get dryer rolls at every RIde and Shine. read more

LOVE this place! I've been to 2 of their locations (Willow & Nees and Shaw & Fowler) and have never been disappointed. My sister and I realized we were both coming here multiple times a month and it made more sense to purchase a membership so we did. The membership I purchased is $16.99 a month and it includes unlimited "better" washes. I'm here multiple times a week now! The thing that makes this place a standout is truly the staff though. At both locations I am always greeted with a smile and a nice interaction. Not sure why it took me so long to write this review, but as a loyal customer I highly recommend this place!! read more

Avoid at all costs. Damage was done to both the Rim of the tire, not to mention a puncture to it, that the business will NOT take responsibility for. Had to replace both tires and now having to seek legal action for re-reimbursement. Take care of your vehicle and take it somewhere else. **Update** Given a chance to rectify the situation, the owner chose to make assumptions about the situation, lied about the content that was written here on yelp (which is ridiculous given its a public forum), and refused to take any responsibility. There are plenty other reputable places in fresno / clovis to wash your car. If you car is damaged here, youll get screwed. read more

Ever since I got my new(ish) now car, I didn't want to do a cheap car wash anymore, so I started to come here. There are times the line is way too long and I skip it and come back, but that is rare, usually it's not too busy so you can get in fairly quickly. I have always had a good cleaning when I come here, one time it gave my husbands car a different option wash than we picked and they let us go through again to get the one we wanted. That was awesome, other than that it has always left my car really clean and spot less. The part where you can clean the inside is well kept and enough space for you to walk around and open all your doors to clean everything and have garbage cans close by too so you don't have to walk too far. ONE thing I have noticed and I'm not sure why it is, but I have realized that the suction from the vaccuum tubes are not as strong as they used to be, or one will be but then the next one isn't.... That might be something for them to look at or maybe they need to be maintenance? IDK, but otherwise, I really like this place read more

After going through the car wash, Mathew (manager for another ride and shine location) noticed that my car was still dirty and offered a second round for free. Even after letting him know that a lot of dust accumulates at the rear hatch and it always stays dirty even after washes, he still let me go through a second time and pressure washed the rear hatch as much as he could. This was the nicest and most professional thing a person can do when working at a car wash. Mathew is definitely awesome! read more

I'd give zero stars if I could. My car was rear ended by a car behind me while in the actual wash. Not the parking lot, or leaving the wash, but actually inside during the wash, the car behind me was thrust into mine. I was given a card to call Rudy and filled out a report. He called and left a message once then I left 5 messages on his voicemail with no follow up. I'm considering legal action. Stay away. There are better places in town for the same price. read more

Seems very tight, not much room for those who have to wait to pay and wash. There is plenty of self service vacuums, has a very clean lot, but kind of hidden. I almost missed the turn. Literally a right turn in and right turn again to get into wash area. Imagine if it was busy you'd be stuck on the street waiting to turn in to get a wash. read more

I want to throw my voice in here to support the others who have been treated poorly after this establishment damaged their car. I have been taking my van to this establishment 2-3 times a week for about 2 years. My car has cross bars BOLTED to the roof. Normally when I go through, the upper drying rollers at the end are are turned off and don't touch my car. Maybe just a handful of times in these 2 years have they come down and touched my car. This past week the drying rollers came down and completely obliterated one of my cross bars and ripped it off my car. They filled out a claim form and told me to call someone. It took 4 days to get a call back after I called 3 times and went back to the location to speak with the manager. They should have had someone calling ME within 24 hours, not the other way around. I finally connected with their employee who was just calling to inform me that they take no responsibility for what happened and that when I purchased my "ticket" that I accept responsibility for any damage going through their car wash, not them, since the cross bars are aftermarket. I told him that that was garbage. Cross bars are bolted down. They are not removable like an antenna. Every time I go there a large percentage of the cars going through have cross bars. I pointed out that those drying rollers are normally turned off and didn't understand how it was my fault that they weren't turned off when the damage occurred. I was told that they can turn them off when cars go through where damage could potentially happen and sometimes SOME employees do, but that I have "LUCKY" all this time when they actually did turn them off. So they know their machine can cause damage to cross bars, THEY ARE ABLE TO DISABLE THEM, however they don't require their employees to do so as standard operating procedures, customers are "lucky" if they do disable them, and we're at fault when they forget and damage occurs. That makes zero sense. And with the number of cars going through there with cross bars, It should be standard operating procedure to shut the roof drying roller down since they are not a removable "aftermarket accessory". I will be contacting corporate about this issue and hopefully they will show a little more concern and actually take some responsibility here. read more

I am completely appalled at the service I received. The wash itself left a lot to be desired - my car was still very wet and dirty after I got out. However, once I got home I noticed damage to my car, so I went back. I talked to Marcus, who claimed to be the manager on duty. After asking me what type of car I had, he had the audacity to say he noticed the damage to my car before I went in the wash. He was not my car wash attendant, nor was anyone other than the attendant even outside while I was there. I went back and forth with him and his story kept changing, yet he still attempted to make me out to be a liar. He also said that regardless of what the video showed, they would not cover the damage because I went off property. read more

I use to go here before they decided to make it a ride and shine, I just decided to go back there to give it a try and opted for the "best" car wash aka "worst". They didnt use any of the over head scrubbers/dry clothes come down to wash the front top or back of my truck, after getting out and vacuuming my truck, my truck looked wet but not clean and the tires not even armoural'd. Save your money go to surf thur $12 gets you $5 off your next visit within a week, air freshener and your tires armoural'd. read more

Took my brand new car here and the back rim was damaged by their machine and they have it on video but they say it was at dusk so they cant see it. Refuse to fix it. This has got to be the best express wash in town! Clean lot, strong vacuums, and a ton of trash cans so you never walk to toss. The employees are always smiling have a ton of energy and are very helpful! One of the managers, Braden was extra helpful in educating me of prices and the perks to membership. I go here 2-3 times per week (have the monthly pass) and it's worth it. Place is always clean, scrubbers are always friendly and helpful, and the vacuums are always working. My car is always washed to perfection and tires have plenty of armor-all. Outstanding service! My Suburban was filthy with caked on mud and a thick layer of dirt. It was very busy when I went through and they didn't have time to really scrub the car before entering the wash. When I came out of the wash, the young man who had done his best to scrub my car before entering found me and asked if I would allow him to rewash my car at no charge when I was finished with the vacuums. This was an incredible customer experience and I will absolutely be back! read more
