Ride Chicago is an excellent choice when learning to ride a motorcycle! Coming in, I had no experience riding and by the end of the 1st day I felt very comfortable! Midway through day 2 and I feel like I am ready to take the test. The sign up process is easy, the online learning is easy to understand and doesn't take too much time. Ian, the instructor, is AMAZING. He takes the time to help everyone individually so they feel confident to ride. Plenty of free parking, lots of water/snack breaks and a "lounge" to get out of the sun!

Ride Chicago is amazing. I had never been on a motorcycle in my life before this class and was really anxious coming into it. The teachers were excellent both at teaching and at easing my anxiety. And now I feel much more confident riding my new bike.Highly recommend. 5-stars all around.

    Damen class location.

It's been almost a decade since I've been on a bike. I needed a refresher and wanted to brush up for the test. The instructors, Tim and Brad, couldn't have been better. They were clear and concise in their explanations and their criticisms were constructive and useful. Had a great two days and feel even more confident on my bike. They also offer intermediate classes that I am gonna to take. Never stop learning. Keep the shiny side up and the rubber side down. Be safe out there.

I don't doubt his skill as he's an excellent car driver. I do doubt all the crazies on the road! And I want my kiddo to last until old man adulthood! So I wanted him to have as much practice as possible from people who truly care. Freddie saw Jay for riding skills / lessons for the last couple of weeks and wow! Not only is my boy hooked but I have a deeper respect for these guys that take their time to take the students seriously. As a Mum who wants her kiddo riding as safe as possible, I thought nothing of multiple lessons and of course the onsite licensing class. Alden in the office was brilliant at working out the scheduling that worked with our crazy calendar and we now have a fully licensed rider who sailed through the test with zero marks taken off. My son will have a break for the winter and I will once again see if Jay can give him a refresher in the late Spring before the season really starts to give my kiddo every success to enjoy his riding! Thank you Ride Chicago! You gave Freddie the world he was hoping to ride in!

We asked them how quickly can she get her license and the lady told us that it depends on the student. My sister went the next day, studied the exam and passed their practice exam. My sister-in-law felt that she can pass the exam so she asked if she can go take the test. The lady said come back tomorrow morning and we can schedule you. My sister-in-law decided to go that afternoon and just take the test herself, she took it and passed it. She called the next day to see how quickly they can schedule her driving hours. They said they did not have availability until a month from now. My sister-in-law decided to just go take the driving test the next day and she passed. I feel like the school just wanted business, didn't vet the students experience but not provided valuable information on what was really required. The driving hours requirements are only for 21 years and under. It's only worth it if you never drove or you never seen the driving book. Save your $500 if your family can teach you. You will not get your money back if you decide to not go with their ridiculous schedule..

Now, I mentioned this earlier but New Yorkers are hard to win over- we don't trust easily, we're not kind, we're weary mostly of anyone who is too kind to us. I bought the ultimate beginners package- and I read the fine print, almost begrudgingly: 2 hours per session. So here I was: in an awkward yet expected predicament. I knew I wanted to win- New Yorkers Win, and I was getting my license. But to sit in a car with another human who was going to tell me what to do- jeez. They had to be good. They had to meet my standard. They had to be the best. Edgar- I never knew your last name but I credit this achievement to you. Your professional, direct and welcoming demeanor won me over as one of the most patient teachers. You're up there with my high school English teacher, and my elementary Spanish teacher. I was behind the wheel with very basic experience- ready to be a passenger princess for the rest of my life. But your guidance and tenacity helped me achieve my "passion project". I appreciate Nova for hiring instructors like him. They care about their craft, they want their students to win, and of course hold them accountable with the skip fees (). Our car lessons were nothing short of professional and honestly as a new person to the Chicago area, it was another way for me to discover this beautiful vast city. I currently work at an organization where we promote job readiness skills, an essential for any new worker is to have their license. I will be counseling many newcomers as they make their transition into careers- and for those that don't have a license, I will recommend Nova Driving School Instructor Edgar (last name unknown) to be their instructor. Should Nova ever decide to remove Edgar as an instructor, they would be experiencing a loss. You rock man! Thank you. Mil Gracias
