This company provided an unsafe bus trip for my children, referred to other children as bullies, and forced my children to sit with football equipment on their lap for the duration of an am school bus transportation service despite many other seats being available- told by the bus driver he could either get off the bus (alone) or put the equipment in his lap. When I asked to discontinue the service after a single ride they kept my money and were completely arrogant and rude. read more

Paid for 336 seats (6- 56 passenger buses) they showed up the day of with buses only able to hold 311 ( even though they charged me for 336) with the excuse there were issues with other buses. I was not refunded the difference. They also pulled this with another school (asked how many kids the day before and brought buses to accommodate that number even though the teacher paid for more). I hope they enough the extra hard earned money from my parents and students. They did not allow kids to use the restrooms on the buses, DVD players did not work, and AC on one of the buses broke on the way back leaving kids sweating. Do not recommend using, will not use again. Did show up on time and had nice drivers read more

We used ride it out for our wedding in the beginning of October and Sandy was amazing from the first phone call to the completion of our event. We needed two huge buses and cars for us to get to and from our wedding and she helped us coordinate the entire thing. I was in town for a work trip and my hotel recommended this company for transportation to the airport. I called to make a reservation for a 4am pickup. The guy making the reservation absolutely insisted that was too early in relation to when my flight left. Here's the thing, it doesn't matter when my flight leaves, if I want to be at the airport at a certain time, what does that matter to you? Anyways after I said 4am, he said 5am and so I compromised and said 4:30am. Day of: 4:30am goes by, 4:40am goes by, no one shows up. I call the company and am told the driver is running 15-20min late but that I would have "plenty of time to make the flight." At this point I was really frustrated. I like to be at airports 1-1.5hrs before my flight, which is why I requested that pick up time. So hearing "we have a great record, trust me you'll make it" when the driver is running 30min late is actually the least comforting thing you could say to me. How about, "I'm so sorry about that we will get you there as soon as we can." That's nice that you don't mind getting to the airport shortly before your flight but please don't push that on me because I find comfort in being there early. When the driver finally got to the hotel (5am) the car was very comfortable and clean and the driver was extremely nice. I will not be recommending this company to co-workers who also travel to Charleston. Next time I come I'll be using another company. read more

I was responsible for the booking the ground transportation for myself and 5 of my co-workers in Charleston, SC. After nearly 12 hours of air-travel, including a 3 hour delay, we were warmly greeted and welcomed by Ride It Out at the airport. We were very weary travelers, and the driver took our bags for us and loaded us into the mini-bus quickly. He not only had the bus warm for us on a cold Charleston night, he also had music videos playing, a laser light show, and a cooler of bottled water and wine! I used Ride It Out today for transport from our RV camp to my parent's home. Booked the reservation with Sandy the day before for a 10 am pickup and 3 pm return trip. German, my driver arrived 10 minutes early and greeted me with a smile. He was professional and a safe driver. The car was a new black sedan and immaculate. He arrived early again for my ride back to the RV camp. He waited until 3 pm and navigated expertly to my destination. I have already booked a return trip for next week and have bookmarked this company for future reference when in Charleston. Their prices were in line with other companies in the area. As a tourist coming into Charleston, and staying on the Isle of Palms, getting a secure and comfortable ride was quite important. Ride It Out offered competitive fares both to and from the airport all the way out to the border islands. The service is top-notch, with the driver awaiting your arrival and amenities provided on-board. The manager of the company even stayed on the phone with me until it was confirmed that I'd found my vehicle and driver. I stayed at the Charleston Harbor and Marina Resort this week and needed a 4:15 am pickup for the Charleston Airport. Sandy arrived exactly on time, offered me a cold water bottle and offered information about the new Boeing production facility that recently moved to Charleston. I sat in the front seat of a new luxurious Ford Excursion which was much more comfortable than a worn out taxi cab. This company has figured out customer service! Look no where else if you need transportation. Our driver 'German' picked us up 10 minutes ahead of schedule and was pleasant professional and in a mint condition Mercedes mini-van. Our kids loved the ride from Wild Dunes to the restaurant and German was ready for us when we needed a ride back. Nothing short of excellence. The icing on the cake was when my father, accidentally over tipped him and he asked did we really want to leave that amount of money for a tip. Honesty, Integrity and an excellent experience. After experiencing a problem that I believed wasn't handled properly and posting it, well within my right to do so and tell the truth, German the driver (owner?) has started calling my friend who set up the party bus and harassing her demanding I take down my review and trying to threaten legal action. I did not make the original booking but I did call to have him come get us which started the whole issue I had with him and the rude woman I had to speak with on the phone. He has called and text her multiple times during her work hours harassing her over something she didn't post. Like I said, if you disagree with them they will be rude and harass and threaten you. I started using Ride It Out LLC, a few years ago after a friend arranged the service when he was in town on a visit. German is outstanding in every way. His service goes the "extra mile". I have since used his service over a half a dozen times personally. The vehicles are spotless and are not your typical cab ride. German and Sandy have both driven for me. They are courteous, well groomed, and friendly! The service is so reliable and so far above average I have arranged Ride It Out for my daughter and her friends when they were going to concerts, parties, or downtown in the evenings. I 150% TRUST this company and its representatives with my precious cargo! On one occasion my daughter and her friends had been to a dance party and when German picked them up he had cold bottled water waiting on them! I have an extremely difficult time believing "German or any one on his staff" was rude. As far as harassing someone for a negative review I personally place zero faith in the complaint. We have used the services of Ride it Out numerous times over the past several years. We have always found them to be EXTREMELY PROFESSIONAL courteous, friendly, reasonable and prompt. There are many transportation companies to choose from, but many of them are just a guy with a van and that's not a comforting thought. Ride It Out is ultra professional. Their drivers are always dressed professionally, they stay in constant communication to let you know their progress and when to expect them, and they follow through to make sure everything meets your expectations. They even provide complimentary bottled water and other goodies to make your ride more enjoyable and comfortable. With regard to the ONE negative reviewer here who keeps posting, there are always those people who will never be satisfied no matter how great a service is. They seem to have too much time on their hands and just want to bring down other people because of their own personal issues.
