BagValet was very nice, we came to Charleston early in the morning for a bachelorette weekend. Our Airbnb didn't have check in until 3 so bagvalet met at a restaurant. They had texted us their eta and we waited there for a little bit before they showed up. The guy was very nice, very quick too! When it was time for drop offs we were already at the Airbnb but they weren't there yet so we didn't get our bags until 45 mins later which was a bummer since we wanted to decorate but once they came to our drive way they weren't very quick. I def recommend if you have a bunch of bags and don't have anywhere to put your bags! read more

BagValet was a horrible experience and very unreliable for my group of 3. They never showed up for our booking and never sent a cancellation email. First, I was unable to book online, so had to call multiple times before someone answered our call and booked our reservation. When we arrived for our scheduled pickup time and location with our bags, they never showed up. I confirmed that I indeed booked the correct date/time. I called multiple times to see what happened and apparently they canceled all bookings that day but I never received an email, text or call confirmation of this cancellation. When I called to ask what happened, they first said they were closed that day and then blamed me for booking the wrong date, which I did not do. They also said they had vehicle issues. Overall, they were very unprofessional, unreliable and I would not recommend for anyone traveling to Charleston. read more

Excellent service overall. Bag pickup from the AirBnB was perfect - great communication, clear instructions and on time. When we arrived a CHS, we were lucky that the driver was already dropping off other customer bags and we were just steps away. All 6 pieces of luggage were secure and they took photos to ensure proper inventory. I was recommended to the Charleston Bag Valet by my AirBnB host. What a phenomenal business idea! I had to check out by 11am but my flight didn't leave until 5pm. What the heck was I going to do with my luggage with no place to store for that long?! Charleston Bag Valet website was super easy to navigate and schedule. They can right to my Airbnb at 11. Registered and locked my bags. They have the option to drop off at a specific location or the airport. I had the rest of the day bag free and was able to go rent a bicycle and tour the city freely. I dropped of the bike, hopped in an Uber, and my bags were waiting for me at the departure curb. One quick text and they were there. It was a seamless experience and I can not recommend it enough. They were so nice and courteous as well as responsive. I'd give 10 stars just because I had a whole extra day of vacation to enjoy without worrying about my bags. read more

Charleston Bag Valet was amazing! They were recommended by our AirBnB host when they could not accommodate our late check-out request. CBV came to our AirBnb location and picked up our bags, which allowed us to stroll around Charleston and shop, eat, drink, etc. then they delivered the bags to us at the airport for our 4pm flight. This service is genius! I was so impressed with all aspects of working with BagValet in Charleston. I booked BagValet for the last day of my bachelorette party. We had to check out of the Airbnb in the morning but our flights were not until the evening. We wanted the chance to explore the city without carrying all our bags around. It was so easy to book the service on their website. We just listed the times we needed for pick up and drop off and the number of bags we had with us. They even let us schedule 2 drop off times (no additional charge) since we had half the group on an earlier flight and half the group leaving a bit later. In terms of actually working with them day of, they texted me when they were on their way to pick up our bags and arrived exactly on time (maybe even a few minutes early). They even let us add an extra bag from someone who originally decided to carry hers with her and then changed her mind. (We did pay to add this on, as expected.) As for the end of the day, they texted us about 30 minutes before our scheduled drop off time that our bags had arrived to the airport. We just had to text when we were at departures. Once I texted, it took less than 5 minutes for the van to come around with our bags. We had absolutely no issues or concerns while working with them from booking through getting our bags at the end. Loved the website and the ability to communicate via text. I wish every city had this service, I would use it for every trip. read more

Super efficient and friendly as well. Great choice that rescued our day from lugging baggage around Charleston to enjoying the city with no worries. We needed to check out on our last day at 10am but our flight was at 7:00pm. Demetrius met us at our B&B (gave us notice of where he was) and was able to come early since we were already packed. He was supposed to meet us at the airport at 4:30 but our limo was an hour early. I texted our new ETA and he was there as we got out of the car. Bag Valet was a lifesaver! our flight into CHS got in around 10am and we couldn't get into our Airbnb in Folly Beach until 4pm. Bag Valet met us at the airport, took our 3 pieces of luggage and the fishing pole my husband packed in this gigantic container, then dropped it off at our rental when we got there! it was easy to have brunch, sit on the Folly pier and walk around town without our luggage (and the darn fishing pole!) My wife and I had 5-6 hours after checkout of our Airbnb before we needed to be at the airport. We spent 4 days and 3 nights in Charleston and the last day was the best weather with no rain finally thanks to the remnants of Hurricane Nicole. BagValet picked up our bags from our Airbnb curbside, tagged them with a ziplock that I signed and off they went while my wife and I got to finally see parts of Charleston that were off limits due to the rain the days prior. We got to the airport at the designated time, got a text around the same time saying the bags were ready and to let them know when I was at the departing flights terminal. I replied I just arrived and within a few minutes the van pulled up with the secured bags. Could NOT have been an easier and more secure process for a reasonable fee given the security and transport of the bags. We were able to take an Uber straight to the airport and not worry about getting the bags from a storage location then going to the airport. We arrived in Charleston in the morning but couldn't check in to our VRBO until 4:00. Bag Valet was terrific meeting us at the airport and picking up our bags. They delivered them to our house and even carried some up to the third floor for us! We used them again for our return to the airport; bags picked up at 9:30 for our 10am check out and delivered to the airport at 3:00 for our 5:30 flight. I flew down to Charleston to stay in Isle of Palms (IOP) for the week. I had an early flight and couldn't get into my rental until 4pm. My friends were driving in from NC and were later than what we originally planned. My realtor recommended BagValet and it was a lifesaver! They took my bag, locked it and brought it back on schedule. We stayed in downtown Charleston at an AirBnB with a check out at 11 am but our flight was at 8 pm that night. We didn't want to carry our bags while enjoying our last day so we searched for luggage storage and BagValet popped up! We looked at the reviews and it seemed legit so we made a reservation the night before. We stated the pick up location and time and indicated the drop off location (airport) and time - paid the 25 per person and hoped for the best. It could not have been easier and efficient!! We received a text message 30 minutes prior to the concierge arriving and met him curbside. Demetrius checked our bags and tagged them - he said he would be early at the airport and would text us when he was there. We arrived early and he met us there right after with our bags in tow!
