Although my car isn't winning the Daytona 500 anytime soon, the old gal keeps a chugging along, topping the odometer at a hefty 125K. After a few fo pas of poor mechanic choices, all referrals mind you, I needed a professional shop and I found it. The bill may not come in as the cheapest, but the workmanship is the tops. I was fortunate to see the guys in the back and have a few quick words. These guys were all buisness, all in uniform, the shop was immaculately clean, tools in their place. I didn't want to talk shop, I wanted to leave them to their work, I didn't want to waste their time. My car runs fabulous, the air conditioning that they charged can store raw meet. I'd give it a one if it wasn't for Jeannine's good customer skills. She is one of the owners. I probably will not be back because of the owner, Rick. In my few times getting work done at this shop, his attitude reflected very poor and as if he didn't even want to be there. For someone who is a co owner, I would recommend him being more of a "back of house' personality. My latest visit I had scheduled an appointment 3 days in advance for a break pad replacement since I could hear the wear indicator while driving. Was told no problem so I take off work early to get it done. After about 25 minutes I finally see my car being pulled into the shop. After about another 20, Rick comes back saying yeah, about 20% left on those pads, would recommend a replacement of pads, rotors, and flush. I ask how long it would take roughly and he said he couldn't do it today. Not sure why I would make an appointment for a diagnostic of a problem I already know is there. (It's brake pads..not an evap system). Not much to it. The week or two prior, I called about a quote on a separate issue, his response was ..we are too busy... sorry dude. Maybe next week late. Fair enough.. I think the mechanics in the back do a good job and Jeanine is great but this guy acts like an asshole and I'm just not a fan of his lifeless, negative personality. If you don't want to be there, go home or hide in your office because it's quite obviously oozing off your body. Tldr: Left work early under the impression of getting my brakes repaired as was scheduled with my "appointment", got nothing done, paid 55$ for a diagnostic of something I already knew, had to deal with Rick the Prick and his attitude, left. Dropped by yesterday to have have my carrier bearing on my GTR removed and replaced. Dropped the driveshaft off yesterday before closing and picked it up first thing this morning. My Dry cleaner doesn't work that fast. Very happy with my choice in checking Mt. Pleasant Auto Service. I will definitely be back as my project grows. read more

Called this place to schedule a service issue on my vehicle. I had a recommendation and was going to give this place a try. What a mistake that was! While trying to be a clever dick over the phone, the guy I spoke with cost his business some money.I'm a firm believer in the theory of making money for your business by being professional. I'm not a believer in the customer is always right, because we aren't always right and that's a fact. The people who work there are very nice and professional. I walked in wanting an oil change and to get some issues on my car checked out and they were able to take me right away. Unfortunately for me owning an Italian car I have to wait for the parts. They gave me a break down of all the prices and I later looked up the average price for the parts and they do price very nicely. As much as I hate spending that amount, it's nice to know I wasn't over charged. Another thing I love is their waiting room smells and looks so clean. Most auto shop's waiting rooms are dirty and reek of rubber tires. I'm thankful I found a shop that can work on my fiat, because it has be very difficult finding a new auto shop since i moved here. read more

They wasted my time and money and didn't fix my problem. Rick lied to me about fixing my tire pressure sensor. It took them 3 days and after $300 they finally replaced the tire pressure sensor that my truck was saying was bad and it still doesn't work. I don't know if they did it or not. Then they try to tell me that it the other three that are reading fine but according to Rick and Joe those are the one that need to be replaced. Do your self a favor and stay away from this place. These guys are shady and liars. read more

Best service ever!!!! I am a female in her 20's who usually does not have good luck with auto service centers (upcharging etc.) Rick was AMAZING. My car was not ready to be driven home by the end of the day due to the alternator being delivered late. I expressed to Rick that I had no other way to get home and he 1. offered me his car to take home because he didn't want me breaking down on the side of the road and then ultimately ended up staying 30 + minutes past close to finish my car up for me so that I was able to drive it home same day. The mechanic couldn't fix my wife's car due to a discontinued part. This vehicle is less than a few years old. They recommended that I look for the part in a junk yard. We recently visited Charleston and drove out to Isle of Palms. As we were leaving to head to Savannah our car suddenly started making unusual noises. A quick yelp search revealed Mt Pleasant Auto Service Center was just around the corner. It was going on 2:00 and I was not sure if they would even look at it that day. They were attentive to our needs and were willing to help us out as quickly as possible. After a short wait, they made a quick and accurate diagnosis of the problem. On arriving to KOA in Mt Pleasant SC, the brakes went out on my old truck. By the grace of God we were at the campsite when they gave out. Knowing no one in the area, we inquired to the office, they recommended the Mt Pleasant Auto Service Center. Caught in a bind, they realized my situation and came that day, got my truck, replaced the brake system and had me on my way the next day. The work needed was extensive and it was done very well at a very reasonable cost. I can not thank them enough.
