I missed the first email (junk mail bin), but they also left a voicemail looking to get in touch over my order. I emailed them back and they sent along some sharpening oil, etc with my order when it did arrive. I've gotta say, this is not what I expected as an online, faceless customer. But besides being delighted over my new axe, I'm happy that they valued my business enough to personally reach out and make sure that the resolution over the shipping delays was tailored to me. So expect the store to be busier than others. The store is pretty packed right now with merchandise so it's a little crowded feeling as well. They carry womens, men's & children's clothing. I saw a pair of pants I really wanted but they didn't have my size. I checked with the cashier & these pants are sold out in my size throughout all of their stores! That tells me they have some good products. I wore some of the t-shirts I had bought on a recent trip to Niagara Falls & I can say that the quality is good.

They shipped the jacket off to their warehouse and I asked them to ship it to me when fixed. A few weeks after this happened I received a call from Julie at the store who confirmed the coat was fixed and she offered to drop it off at my home (instead of mailing which would take longer). All very friendly and helpful. They can apply the waterproofing wax on your purchase if you buy something that is made with the G-1000 water resistant material. I'd much rather pay more and know I'm getting something that will last me a long time. I'm looking forward to using my new backpack!

I've been twice this summer - early June in the evening and mid July for 9 AM kayaking. I enjoyed the early morning peace and tranquillity. We were guided by a long line of geese and also saw two egrets along the way. Very peaceful and they make it so easy as they drag the kayaks down to the launch beach. Getting in and especially out of the kayak is challenging. It would be great to have a pole or chair to grab onto to pull yourself up and out. But otherwise, a fabulous not expensive trip away from the hustle and bustle of city life.
