A great shop for games, comics and related memorabilia on the northeast side of town…read more The thing I first noticed about this place was the pleasant atmosphere of the store and the friendly and helpful demeanor of the owner/proprietor, Don. I've been to several of the comic stores in town and more than a few had a less-than-welcoming vibe. After calling another store in town to inquire about comic sales (and getting a quasi-hostile response), I tried calling the Comic Signal. Don was immediately helpful and informative. After stopping at the shop in person, I was surprised to find that the owner was happy to discuss anything to do with comics. He also helped me pick out a great board game for my kids and actually opened one up to let me see what it looked like and explained how it was played. What a great store to have in the community! I can definitely recommend giving this place a try if you're interested in comics and/or related collectibles.

Got a bunch of patches on sale and prices for games were $12-15 cheaper than normal. The Gaming Warehouse is more gamed based where they have tables set out where people can play at hosted events. Disc traders has CDs, figures, many second-hand devices but wide selection from iPads to calculators to gameboys to $700 curvy monitors. CDs for movies, VHS, playstation, xbox, but not much for DS imo (iso nintendo ds stuff). I was surprised as to how many games pookie got and the value. He got 3-4ds games, gameboy advance, 10 patches, and a switch game for $100. Got games like animal crossing for $42.99, harvest moon for $17.99, gameboy hames for $3.99 (but free because of buy 5 get 1 free promo), and a bunch of cute $1.20 patches. My legs fell asleep looking at patches. Probably in there for 30mins-1hr. :) folks (workers) were cool.

Today I took a complete tv series into Disc Traders to sell back to them. I purchased the series…read morewhich did not come with the original plastic dvd cases but had an after market 2 discs per paper sleeve, 6 sleeves in all AND the original box for the tv show. That was all, no bottom to the box when the staff assembled and SOLD the tv series to me. Today Disc Traders would not take the tv series back JUST AS THEY SOLD IT TO ME. When I told the "manager" that I was sold it that way he just said that was unfortunate. NO, that was STUPID and deceptive to sell it in the first place.

My boyfriend and I recently got into RC cars, and he has visited Riders a few times to pick up…read moreparts. Unfortunately, each visit has been disappointing. They often sell him the wrong items or are completely out of what he needs to get his RC car running. Most recently, he purchased a brushless motor they recommended, and we returned today hoping to buy a transmitter. To our surprise, we were informed that they wouldn't have any in stock until the end of August! To add to our frustration, they have a strict no-return policy, so we're stuck with parts that don't work for us. It's frustrating to rely on a shop that consistently misses the mark on customer needs and doesn't offer refunds for incorrect purchases. We won't be coming back and want to warn others to think twice before buying from them.

I work 2 blocks down the street so was looking at long term relation ship for this next step for me with this new hobby. I noticed the shocks didn't have oil in them so stop in to check asked them they said yes they should have had oil in them but maybe not enough I said well let me grab it from my Jeep and tell me what you think a kid looked to be 20 said there's a $30 charge for that! Hu?? really I said your joking right he said nope I'm like keep that oil and any other stuff I might need I wont buy anything from here! this could have been a great thing but to be like that cant even take 2 seconds to look at something with out wanting money or to get paid! I was shocked that never used to be like that people would give you help with something just as a courtesy good for business. well I had allot of money to spend there maybe not today but there's other cars I might have wanted down the road that one I just bought was $2200 well it wont be from there. They have game cartridges for the old counsoles like DS, Playstation, gamecube and more! Limited amount of Switch games available. Game counsoles for sale as well. They had figurines like Pokemon being sold that you can build. They also had figurines like WarHammer and Gundam to build and paint. Gift cards available which is super cool! Snacks and drinks sold as well.
