Pizza that I find to be better: Zeek's, Costco, Sizzle Pie, Pagliacci, A Pizza Mart (at least I know what quality I'm getting with Pizza Mart and Costco for the price) Pizza that it is better than: Little Ceaser's, Digornio, stadium pizza (CLink/Safeco) My last review was 6/2016. I logged in because people need to know how mediocre this is. I got the Bryant Combo, which on paper, sounds great, but it's just regular combination/supreme pizza. Nothing that stands out. It was 19 dollars for the 12 inch pizza. If this pizza was 13-14 dollars, it would be worth it. However, at 19 dollars, this pizza can use some serious improvements. None of the ingredients stood out to me, the crust was generic, and so was the dough. Nothing about this makes it more special than frozen pizza. I also got the "cheesy" garlic bread. It's pretty much Safeway french bread with mozzarella cheese on it. You get 4 pieces for 6 bucks and marinara sauce that either has too much water in it or it was frozen and the ice added more water to it. You be the judge. I would like to try again later since this place JUST opened as of 3/2018. read more

We wanted to like this place - very nice bright space, brand new building, friendly staff, family friendly, full bar. But the food - it all had potential, but didn't really hit the mark. Shared a large Caesar salad. Good size, but the dressing wasn't very flavorful. Ordered a Varsity pizza - it had too much red sauce and the sauce was very acidic. Plus the lemon dressed arugula on top added to the acid level. It was hard to see or taste the sparse goat cheese. Crust good but not exceptional. Also got a custom pizza, pesto, Canadian bacon, sausage, and chicken. Kind of boring except for the spicy sausage. Crust seemed weighed down by too much cheese. Another diner in our party ordered a roasted vegetable sandwich - said it would have been better with a pesto sauce instead of the Italian dressing it came with. Good size to the sandwich though. Pizza is meh, had way better, had worse. I live in the neighborhood and only go here when someone else suggests it. Not my kind of drinking place either, which is a pity given how close I live. Uncomfortable bar stools, and feels more like a sports bar than cozy place to have a conversation. But if there's one thing I would change about this place it would be for their employee(s?) to stop smoking and littering on the street corner. That is not being a very good neighbor! read more

We'd avoided this place since it opened in our hood, having heard it was just meh, with unimaginative Boboli-like pizza and screaming kids. But we found ourselves here after a Saturday evening cocktail party, looking for something simple and fast but not fast-food. To our surprise, at the recommendation of our absolutely delightful and informative waitperson, Keely, we shared a fantastic house salad (she was right to suggest the small-it's enormous-and the Dijon lemon dressing) and an equally delicious pizza. The sauce and crust were just the way I like it: thin and a bit sweet, and crunchy-chewy, respectively. And bonus: the restaurant makes a small donation to a neighborhood school w every Rainbow pizza (and 2 other variations) ordered. The menu has lots of other choices, though. No screaming kids, just some well-behaved happy families surrounded by many adults only tables. Lots of TV screens set to the college football games, but the noise level was quite tolerable, low enough that we could converse comfortably. That's always a BIG plus for me. And nice lighting: not harsh but enough that you didn't have to shine your phone on the menu to read it. We told The Lovely Keely we'd be back, and we meant it. I'm giving it 5 stars because the place so exceeded our expectations. read more

SO GOOD!!! We used to frequent the Phinney Ridge location which we loved- this one tops that even! Delicious combinations including carmelized onion/potato and artichoke/sun dried tomato. The bar and booths have a nice vibe with high ceilings and lots of windows. Service is very quick and friendly. Crust and toppings are much higher quality than other surrounding pizza place options. We went here for a date night. The bartender on shift wasn't on point in the sense he just was there for a job, not an experience. I mean the food and drinks there aren't exactly cheap. Not sure if it was an off night, but we wanted pizza, knowing we always liked The Ridge on Phinney. Even though this is closer to us, it doesn't have the same food standards as the other location. We decided to checkout this new(ish) pizza place in our neighborhood because it's family friendly and looked like it would have solid food. It was not too hard to order low carb foods despite being a pizza place, so that was a nice surprise. We got seated right away with no wait because it was pretty early when we got there for dinner, around 5ish. Very spacious and open inside. One extra nice touch was they had little toys for kids to play with in a box at the table, along with the standard crayons for coloring. Will definitely come back. read more

I visit this place a couple times a month and it is consistently good. The two servers are always welcoming and so attentive. What I enjoy most about the Ridge is how damn fresh the salads and sandwiches are. During lunch the place is very quiet so you can indulge in an ongoing conversation without loud music or narration from TVs. It's clean, great light from huge windows, with a great chill vibe. read more

Beats walking, bussing, or driving & finding parking in Ravenna, Roosevelt, U-Ville, etc...right? If you have kids and are too pretentious to just order some greasy pizza & a Netflix subscription, this place will be a great adventure for them. If you make good money, have a food curiosity but don't have a comfortable toilet seat for the possible aftermath...this place might fit the bill. If you recently bought a new Porsche, traded it straight across for a '96 Kia Sephia then bragged about it...you should definitely drive your Kia on down here. Are you joking me? Just because you're in a slow neighborhood, doesn't mean you can sell me a DiGiorno level pizza for $20+tax+tip. I actually asked for cash on top of the Kia! My office went in for a staff meeting recently and not only was our service outstanding, the pizza was one of the best that I've ever had. We ordered the Two Birds Pizza - which has a pesto base topped with artichoke hearts, gorgonzola cheese, chicken breast, and spinach... it was delicious and cooked perfectly. Had the farmers market veggie sandwich last night and was by far the BEST food I have put in my mouth in ages!! Absolutely delicious. Bread was warm just right amount of crunch, lots of arugula, mushrooms and eggplant with cheese a perfect combination made just the right blend of flavors. Loved it and my compliments to the chef. I would have to say the staff may be the best part of our experience. We ordered 2 pizzas and a Cesar salad and the salad had a fat juicy dead fly in it. Thankfully the staff took care of us with a round of beers, but still it's pretty hard to want to come back after that kind of experience. Meanwhile the pizza was ok but as other reviewers have pointed out, its nothing to write home about. Since I live locally I am really rooting for this place to get their act together, but until it does, I will just stick to the pints of beer. read more

The space is beautiful and the beer selection is also solid. Plenty of TVs at bar for sports viewing, well laid out with some outdoor seating. Only shortcoming is pizza, its light on sauce (order extra)... I did like the salad and appetizer, should do well as a neighborhood edition. read more

We had the meatball sandwich and it was very bland..no flavor. We also ordered the interurban salad and it was just OK. Pasta with olive oil, instead of butter for my little one and it was doused in way too much oil. I'm sad to say that we were very disappointed. We had our hopes up for a new, local place to go to. I called the week of my birthday asking if it would be possible to accommodate a party of 15. I spoke with the manager and he said no problem! It sounded awesome, they could accommodate a large party, split some checks and even pre-order so it would be ready when we got there. When we show up there ends up being more than 15, my fault. They also have another fairly large family they are tending to right next to mine. We should have taken their advice to pre-order. The kitchen was slow and it took a while to get our pizzas. But the unfortunate fact was it even took a while to get our drink orders. It seems like the staff could use a little more experience with large groups. That being said, the drinks and pizza were good! They have a great beer selection. The pizzas came out great. The manager was also very apologetic for the long wait. They compted a few drinks and gave out gift cards ensuring we come back. I'll definitely be back, and with a much smaller group. Thanks for accommodating my large party! read more

It's a bar that possess nothing extraordinary to make it stand out from the dozen other bars in the area. Really the only reason to go here is because it is convenient. Loved the pepperoni pizza and Greek salad! The crust was the perfect combination of crunchy and chewy and the cheese and pepperoni were incredible. The salad was a size small, but it was huge!
