Solid food, basic pub environment. I'm oscillating between 3 and 4 stars, but I think for the value (at the risk of getting a smarmy response from the establishment's social media person, I will agree with other posts that despite the award-winning homemade food and staff being paid a living wage, it did feel a little pricey for what we got). My kids and I split a 13" pepperoni pizza. It was solid. Nothing special, but nothing wrong with it either. Crust was thin, but sturdy enough to pick each piece up and eat with our hands without all the ingredients sliding off. Even splitting it between 3 people, we had 2 leftover pieces to take home. I also ordered a small Caesar salad, and it was delicious. Perfect dressing-to-salad ratio, loved how it came with brioche breadcrumbs that were simply part of the salad (as opposed to so many other places that have croutons that are giant and too hard to stick with your fork so you're left eating the salad and picking up the croutons separately - often with your fingers). While this review landed on 3 stars, looking over the wide variety on the menu, I can absolutely see how others have given it 4-5 stars. There were lots of options on the menu that looked fantastic - from starters to beer bread sandwiches and pie folds. The menu also had a number of desserts that looked quite inventive, and dessert is my favorite meal of the day. I just didn't have the wisdom to choose any of those options on this visit. Definitely a place worth coming back to and seeing if those other things are as good as the menu makes them sound. In sum, it's a solid, family-friendly place. Our little family enjoyed a nice early dinner on the patio of Watershed on a recent sunny day. The food here is quite good. We ordered a basic margherita pizza, house salad, pretzel, and corn chowder. The corn chowder was a revelation; it was a special, but I hope it comes back in the colder months. The pizza was also good: balanced seasoning, snappy crust, flavorful ingredients. The salad was basic but solid, and the pretzel was totally forgettable. The inside of the restaurant has lots of seating and a vibe that manages cozy and a touch modern. The outdoor patio is mostly covered, which is a lovely touch for those who don't want to bake but still want to enjoy a sunny day. The service was responsive but across the board not too friendly. When I showed with my two little kids, I was told gruffly that the wait for outside would be half an hour. I said we would wait anyway, and sure enough about 7 mins later, we were seated. Fine, just a misjudgment. But then our server scolded my 3 year old twice and overall did not seem welcoming. Many other tables had kids, and the place gives big family vibes. My kid was standing up and down on the seating part of a picnic bench and otherwise sitting on the floor off to the side where no one was passing. He wasn't menacing anyone, and I wasn't ignoring his behaviors. I got the ricotta salsiccia pizza and as you can see in my picture it looks like a frozen pizza that someone microwaved. In my opinion this does not appetizing at all. For $16 at 9 inches I was not pleased. It tasted very average but there was a strong garlic flavor only in the center of the pizza. We got the cookie boat for dessert. Good potion size but the cookie part was not very good. Overall I would not recommend this place and would not come back. The reviews are probably not deceiving you. One of our favorite restaurants in Seattle. The Watershed never disappoints. Always has a great rotating beer selection, pizza is excellent, pie fold sandwiches are great, salads are always good, soups vary from day to day but the tomato is always a good choice. A small group of us met at Watershed for their Tuesday trivia (starts at 7, with a second session at 8). Trivia at the Watershed is a lot of fun! We requested a table for 7, but a couple of folks in our party couldn't make it due to illness, so there were ultimately only 5 of us. Even still, the wait staff was understanding and accommodating. I'm partial to Watershed's pie folds, and particularly like their Puebla Verde. This is a vegetarian option, with an olive oil and garlic base, roasted corn, jalapeño, red onion, roasted red peppers, beecher's cheddar, pico de gallo, cremed avocado, and queso fresco. It is nicely spicey. Two of us opted for the Puebla Verde, and were both happy with it. There were a variety of beers and ciders ordered across our table, and we all enjoyed the abundant draught options. This is the 2nd time we've come in for trivia night, and plan to continue into the future. Thanks, Ben and family for providing such a great place for a fun and relaxing evening. BTW, there's usually tons of parking, since Watershed is near the Northgate P&R and Northgate Link station. But...on evening when there's a game downtown, the nearest lot can fill completely. We had dinner here this week, and I loved the chill vibe with both indoor and outdoor seating, fun wall decor, and a well labeled menu for allergins. We arrived for happy hour and were seated inside. Despite being seated inside, the bugs were a bit of a nuisance flying on your face, landing in wine, and your water glass.. was a bit distracting. Our server was friendly and prompt and got us drinks and the Esquites dip with delicious gluten-free crackers. We shared the spicy chicken pesto gf pizza, which was tasty, and the shed greens salad, which had fresh ingredients. Everything came out in good timing, and we enjoyed our dinner. For my 40th birthday party, I wanted a family friendly place with great food and cocktails. We rented the mezzanine at the Watershed and had a great experience. Their event coordinator made sure all of our food was ready to go prior to the day of the party, and our server took excellent care of us. We were able to bring a laptop and play YouTube music videos on the TV and isolated sound system. There was no event fee, just a minimum order amount that we easily hit. I had lunch here today and experienced nothing short of a 5 star review. The ambiance in here is very uplifting due to the decor, music, and of course I love when there are TV's with sports on at the bar. I was greeted instantly by Adam who quickly figured out my name as well. He engaged in conversation throughout my experience. And finally, it turns out their pizzas are great. This was my first experience here so I figured a pizza would be a great way to gauge the food quality. I created my own and the taste was fantastic. We came here as a group of 6 on a Wednesday night. We called earlier in the day for a reservation and they were able to accommodate. I GREATLY appreciated that they held our table even though we were late to our reservation due to a transportation issue. On this day there was a small performance happening inside and I enjoyed the atmosphere. They had some fun drink specials and I ordered the Hawaiian pizza with caramelized onions added. The crust was so yummy and the small size was perfect for one person. I feel that the pricing was reasonable. The waiter said the kitchen was backed but it only ended up taking 20 minutes from when we ordered to when the food came out. The rest of my group also enjoyed everything they ordered. read more

A group of us took a test at the nearby Pearson testing center up in northgate. This place was close and had beer so we stopped by. They could accommodate us immediately in a large indoor booth. Beer was 3.5/5. Pizzas 4/5. Came out quick and three larges easily fed eight people with about half a pizza left over. We got the mamas, Parma, and spinach capresse. Our server was friendly and made some recommendations for us (thanks for recommending the Festive AF drink - it was delicious, even for anti-eggnog folks!) We ordered an assortment of items: two pizzas, a couple round of drinks, and a grilled cheese with tomato soup. All items were great and there was plenty of leftovers to take home to enjoy later. Photos are of the Kraken Pizza and the Festive AF drink. The pizza has brisket on it! It had a nice soft crust and a healthy portion of toppings, and cold leftovers are also quite tasty. The best way I can describe the drink is that of melted peppermint ice cream.
