Once we got moving, the views were unreal. The autumn leaves were gorgeous, there's some water views, and later on, the stars were incredible. The stop for hot cocoa and marshmallows was such a cute touch, and honestly perfect for warming up a bit. Sitting there burning smores and laughing with my team felt very wholesome in the best way. I also really appreciated how low-impact this was. I'm pretty out of shape and deal with back issues, and I had zero discomfort the entire time. It was a beautiful fall night and such a memorable experience. I'd absolutely come back again, but bring my partner with next time.

Your dog must be leashed for safety reasons (obviously) - they provided a floor mat so he had a comfy place to sit while we pedaled. After a brief safety presentation, you basically just take off. I do wish they provided some audio narrations about the area as you passed by it, but you are basically left to your own devices. The view was nice - you go through a forest and then are next to the river, so you get a good mix of views. The rail does go through a residential area, so be mindful of your noise! At the end of the rail, they make everyone get off for around 15-20 minutes so they can turn the carts around. The tour does take 2 hours so plan accordingly. They do provide hot drinks while you are waiting for your tour time to begin, but I wish they provided some snacks too. Bathrooms are very clean and they have a fire pit to keep you warm!

I called again and spoke to someone who didn't know if they would be running their cruise over Independence Day. They told me to leave a message for someone else; that person did not return my call. The only reason I continued to pursue this was because my parents assured me that they enjoyed themselves. I called a few weeks before my boyfriend was going to visit, and made a reservation for two people for a certain day and time. I live an hour away from the boat ride, so I wanted to make sure there would be a spot for us. On the day of our reservation we drove to the dockside. They had no record of our reservation. They also said that the tickets would cost us an extra $10. The riverboat is clean and they have a safety video. There are two crew members in addition to the captain. Alcoholic and virgin beverages are available for cash, as are bagged chips and snacks. We went to sit upstairs, for a great view, and to get away from the very loud, dated, and tacky band. Unfortunately they had an amplifier speaker up-top, too. We asked one of the members of the crew if she could please turn down the music, as my boyfriend and I couldn't hear each other speaking; she said she couldn't turn down the volume. My boyfriend asked If I had any earplugs in my purse, and fortunately I did. If you enjoy Jimmy Buffett songs, perhaps you will find the music edifying. The band has been playing on this cruise for ten years, supposedly; this suggests to me that it will be here when YOU ride on the boat. The singer made absolutely no effort to sing on-key. It was dreadful. My boyfriend said "This was forty dollars and ninety minutes that I will never get back."

Good refreshments and a friendly, courteous crew made for a very nice trip and the beautiful sunset was a pleasant bonus. We recommend an evening cruise for the breeze, calm on the river and, if you're lucky, the sunset. Great job by the boat crew! Just finished my third Lady Bea cruise, just as good as the first two. My compliments to the Captain for pointing out the Bald Eagle to the passengers.

Don't let…read morethe small footprint of the Canopy Tour fool you - there are some very challenging stations packed into this small space, and there are actually two courses - a high course and a lower course. We first did the low course, and then all except one member of our group opted to continue on to the high course. We had previously done the canopy tours at Adventure Park at Storrs and Treetop Adventures, and we all felt that this course was more challenging. We spent about 1.5 hours completing both courses. We all felt very safe here, and were given excellent instructions on how to clip in and out. The staff was really helpful and the equipment was well maintained. Be sure to make a reservation - it does fill up on summer weekends!

A Day to Remember at Berkshire East!…read more My granddaughter and I shared an unforgettable adventure zip-lining at Berkshire East today. From the very start, the staff brought humor, warmth, and professionalism to our group--making everyone feel comfortable and well-prepared. Their friendly approach and clear guidance helped ease any nerves and turned doubt into excitement. At 73, I'm in reasonably good shape, and my granddaughter is 18. While there's a bit of hiking between each zip line, only one stretch--leading to the final run--was truly challenging. It's a steep uphill climb with few chances to catch your breath. I didn't hold up the group, but I'll admit I haven't tackled a hike like that in quite some time... so consider yourself warned! That said, I wouldn't trade the experience for anything. Sharing laughs and thrills with my granddaughter created memories I'll cherish forever. I wholeheartedly recommend this adventure to anyone looking for a healthy dose of excitement, connection, and joy.
