Great, chill place to grab a beer or a drink that's dog friendly! They've got plenty of TVs but seating is limited. There's quite a wide variety of beers on tap plus slushies like Frose and Prosecco available. Red Mill burgers is just next door which is convenient if you want a burger and fries with your beer!

This spot was POPPIN on a Friday evening. Lots of drinks on tap as well as beer fridge with lots and lots of drinks. The cherry pie slushy ($11) was very sweet (low in alcohol), giant, and refreshing. Loved the whipped cream and graham cracker on top. I also picked up a THAI COCONUT JELLY FILLED DONUT sour beer. Like what?! I couldn't not. Pricey though. Dog friendly so got to peep lots of adorable pups.

Good vibe! We came for drinks on a Saturday evening. The vibe was low key. We didn't hand to wait for a table. Loved the feel of the Winter Margarita. It was topped with cranberry and rosemary. 2 easily disappeared. Our family lives close and recommend this taproom. It did not disappoint.

What a cool spot to grab something to drink. My spouse got food next door at Red Mill and I came here to grab a beer. I ordered the Cloudburst Party Emojis and it was light and crispy. It's a perfect 5% beer to start the day and watch a little bit of the game. It is a very chill spot to enjoy some food and drinks. This spot stays open pretty late considering others in Phinney Ridge. It was walking distance from my family's and was nice and clean. There are plenty of options to choose from whether you like beer, wine, or frose.

Looking for a great taproom in Seattle? Then head over to Ridgewood Bottle and Tap near Phinney Ridge & Greenwood. They have a great outdoor patio to enjoy a cold beer under the sun. Their taproom inside is comfortable and inviting. Great beers, great service, excellent vibe! Tip: Order a burger at Red Mill Burgers next door and bring it over to the taproom. Bringing your own food is encouraged! Cheers!

Ridgewood is awesome! During quarantine, I ordered beers from them (via online site) - super easy! Just show up and your beers are there ready for you to pick up! Love the variety of beers that they have (including some fruit/sours) and that they're lesser known breweries located in other parts of the country, so there's no way I would have discovered them otherwise! You can also consume your beer onsite and there are many to choose from. They recently opened up the inside - outside seating is available too. Sometimes they have food trucks (Tip: follow them on IG for the most current updates on the boozy slushy flavors and other happenings, etc.) They also have boozy slushies which rotate flavors but they generally have one that is a sour beer one, one cider one, and then a rose one (I think). I almost always get the sour beer ones --really unique flavor combinations (e.g. Blueberry cheesecake) - super refreshing especially in the hot weather!

Cutest place, inside and out! OK OK I'll share more details about what I mean by that. Inside: workers were phenomenal - so nice, so patient, so helpful. They have a wide selection of canned beers to buy if you're on the go, and lots of great options on tap as well. I actually ordered one of the slushees (Prosecco), and it's nice to have one other option for non beer drinkers. It's also connected to Redmill burgers, so this is a great option for eats since they encourage outside food if you're hungry. Outside: looks so cute, lots of outside seating. One problem is parking (but this is typical for seattle breweries). I was able to find parking a couple of streets down and walk.

A quaint little brewery on the curve of the street. Normally, I would've ordered a flight & sampled the beer. But too cold & rainy today! I saw a sign that said Mulled Wine so I stopped. Still not allowed to sit inside but they had outdoor seating available. They do provide heaters outside but it's still cold for me. However I did sit and drink my Mulled wine outside & it warmed me up perfectly. Before I left, I ordered the other hot drink special, Buttered Sake. It was also delicious! Will definitely be back in the Spring or Summer to try the beer!

Great location, super chill and lax ambiance, service is good, and nice variety of beer and cider. They also have slushees and wine as well. They have a cooler full of single beers to buy for take home. I noticed that many of them were on tap. It's family friendly so you can bring your kids. Ridgewood is located right next to Red mill burgers. I noticed that most people there would order their food and have a beer while waiting. I prefer IPA's and beer that have very fruity after taste. I ended up going with an IPA and my boyfriend got a flight. The flight consisted of mainly IPA with one pale ale. All the beers we got were refreshing and more on the lighter side. The great notion over ripe was more hoppy and tasted very piney. I really liked my 16 oz pour of stout mother of exiles.

I am always always looking for a new spot to chat it up with friends and I am so happy my friend suggested this place! They have a great selection of beer but I especially lovee their Frose! There's a decent amount of tables to sit at outdoors but more standing room! It's all first come first serve though. I would wish they disclosed that buying the Frose also meant purchasing their jar with it, and apparently you can return the jar to get $2 back. I didnt know this until my friend let me know, but other than that it's a lovely place

Very happy I found Ridgewood- my friend lives a block away and so very convenient to walk and have a refresher in the afternoon! We brought our own signature Ridgewood mason jars to try out the slushees - frose and Prosecco- both were refreshing. I drank most of it and didn't really feel a buzz but overall enjoyed my froses! Next visit I'll have a seat outside and enjoy the ambiance.

I was a little hesitant to write this review since Ridgewood is the best kept secret in town! We had a friend come to visit this past weekend during the worst Seattle heatwave since 1945 (106 degrees outside!). On Saturday, we somehow dragged ourselves to the zoo to show her a "good" time. After seeing barely any animals due to the heat, and feeling fairly delirious ourselves, we searched for a nearby bar with prayers for AC. This is how we stumbled upon Ridgewood. For the next two days, myself and my 2 friends holed up at Ridgewood enjoying the AC while getting a nice afternoon buzz from the variety of slushees offered. After sampling all 4 of their options, the frosé and the sour were our favorites. The bartender (Alex I believe?) was super friendly and brought us water refills, as well as topped off our slushees with delicious gummy bears. His service was above and beyond which we appreciated given our heat exhaustion. After seeing a dog there the first day, I brought my puppy with me the next day so she could bask in the cool AC as well. Miraculously, we all survived the heatwave and I credit part of our survival to Ridgewood :)

They are kid and dog-friendly, too. We ordered an NA IPA (which they have on tap!) and their hop water (comes in a can). Both beverages were absolutely delicious. I love that this place is NA-friendly. They offer some light snacks and free pretzels, which is awesome for a brewery without a kitchen. There is a food truck on site, but it was closed when we visited. No worries, though, you can bring outside food, which is perfect since there are plenty of great restaurants in the area. I asked the bartender if they brew at this location, and he said they've moved all brewing to a different location in Seattle, but it's still super fresh and tasty beer all around. This is a spot worth visiting in Seattle or getting together with a large group for a few drinks. Plenty of choices for everyone!

Smattering variety of beer (1-2 offerings per "kind" of beer, non-alc included), so I'd say this place is more for vibes and location, rather beer-focused. That being said, the vibes were good! Random barrels and umbrellas, as well as maybe 10 or so picnic tables across the two outdoor patios (dog-friendly). Saw they also have private event space off to the side. Plenty of indoor seating as well.

You know it's good when you pull up the establishment and they have not only a long line, but also a paper dictating what is sold out, which they update on a 10-15 minute interval. Waiting in line is the most time consuming part of this experience, as we probably waited 20-30 minutes to get to the front to place our order - which is good sign! You can definitely formulate what meats and sides you want as you get closer to the front. Parking for the restaurant is a bit difficult, I think the only options we found while visiting was streetside, and we were fortunate to find a spot only a block away. I could totally see it being impossible to find parking when it gets really busy in the area. Once you get your food, there is plenty of seating, from high tops, to booths, to tables, to outdoor seating with a fire pit. We got a good variety of items, which I'll review a couple down below: Brisket: A good brisket with a nice visible smoke ring. Similar to the pork belly, you can tell the skill of a barbecue restaurant from how their brisket is, and this brisket is delicious! Really meaty and pleasant smoke flavor. I think we did get a leaner cut of brisket as there wasn't as much fat to help with the leanness. Beef Cheek: A delicious cut of meat that melts in the mouth, and has a pleasant smokey flavor. Out of the three cuts of meat, this one was unfortunately salted the heaviest. The first couple of bites are delicious and really delicious, but it goes really overwhelming the more you eat it. If you order this, definitely get some sides to help. Pomegrante Pork Belly: A solid BBQ pork belly that has a pleasing fatty crust with a meaty interior. This is what I would consider a good baseline for a reputable barbecue restaurant. It is advertised as pomegrante pork belly, but I unfortunately wasn't able to taste any flavor of pomengrate - maybe a tiny bit in the glaze/bark but that could just be attributed to the sugar. Mac and Cheese: A pretty comforting side! bechamel sauce is really creamy and fully coats each noodle. The noodles were at the sweet spot of soft and having enough integrity to hold their shape. Cherry and Rhubarb Cobbler: Wow, this is an amazing dessert! I haven't had a cobbler where they added cardamom to the crust before, and I think it works spectacularly. The cardamom gives a nice floral taste to the crust, which is complemented by the tart and fruity filling. I think this is one of the better if not best desserts I've had a barbecue shop, and the small tweaks made were creative and delicious! In the end, I think we paid about $100 for everything you see here. Having been to a couple of BBQ places, I would say that it is pretty standard pricing. Good BBQ does take a lot of effort and it does come at a premium. Outsider BBQ is absolutely delicious - if you are looking to get some comforting food, they definitely have you covered. I would totally revisit to try their items that got sold out (missed the beef cheeks, need to try those!) the time we visited!

There's both indoor and outdoor seating, and it's communal. We got the Pitmasters that serves around 4-5 people, there was 3 of us and we ate the rest the following day. I loved the ribs and the pulled pork sandwiched between a piece of bread and a pickle was delicious.
