We love Ridley's BUT wanted to leave this review for the Kuna Location because I think it's worth management seeing. For the past month, we've been purchasing produce Onions, Broccoli, carrots, etc...and when we get it home and start preparing it we realize it's bad...cut into the onion the center is brown though it appears fine when we bought it...broccoli covered in brown spots up near the crown where you can't spot it until your chopping it up. We cook daily in our house so we're buying fresh FREQUENTLY. It's really frustrating when we have to make another grocery run and go somewhere else for better produce as Ridley's is 5 mins away compared to the other options and we've wasted an unfortunate amount of money thinking it was a one off issue on produce we couldn't use and had to toss. This has become a consistent issue we aren't seeing at other shops. We've also noticed the supplier selling them cilantro is mis-labeling Parsley as Cilantro which is visibly hard to notice, but smell/flavor wise is quite obvious and frustrating. Overall once we realized this was a consistent issue we stopped buying produce at Ridley's which is a real bummer. It's become a situation where we go to Ridley's for everything else BUT fresh produce. read more

I remember when this store closed at six or seven PM just a few short years ago. It still feels like a small town grocery store, even though Kuna is not that small anymore. Customer service is solid, and the staff has always been helpful. I am absolutely loving the toy section in the back. I don't shop here normally but I'm a pinch I will. It's so convenient to our house so with that for a few things I end up pretty often. Their selection is pretty on point for the size of store it is and for the most part all of the employees and really nice. Inside the store is always clean and well kept up. For produce their selection can be pretty limited and while they do have a fresh meat counter I usually shop elsewhere for those items. One thing they do have is a great deli and the only grocery store here in Kuna that will make a fresh deli sandwich. Plus they do fry their own chicken everyday and while I haven't tried it our neighbors have given great compliments. Their prices are also very reasonable and have fit all the needs we have been looking for. read more

Alyssa was one of the most friendly cashiers I have ever encountered. Don't get me wrong, I usually have great service at this Ridley market in Kuna, but this young woman is so personable and caring. She engages in appropriate small chat and with a smile at the same time. And she is able to do that all while continuing to assist the guests with checking out, bagging grocer and handwringing payments. I will look for her lane the next time I'm shopping there. This review is for the Dawson Taylor coffee shop in this grocery store, not the grocery store itself. As for that, it's a grocery store, and I don't have a lot of specific thoughts about it other than you can get your bologna or donuts or apples here and stock up your cabin for your weekend getaway. The coffee kiosk here, though, slaps. Normally I avoid grocery store coffee shops because if I'm going to pay $4.00 for a cup of coffee, I'd rather have the full experience of hanging out in a cozy cafe and making sure I have a trained barista preparing my drink. However, when blasting through McCall on a day trip, it's nice to be able to stop in and pick up some groceries and get coffee at the same time, so I can get out to the mountains without wasting a moment. Picking up coffee here had me pleasantly surprised with what this grocery store could provide. My barista, Hilda, was incredibly friendly. I was impressed to see the shop was clean and looked well-kept--sometimes these places look disorganized or like they haven't been scrubbed in a month or two. Everything here was sparkling clean and there weren't dirty towels around which is always a red flag. I ordered an americano and Hilda prepared it beautifully. It had nice rich crema on top and was strong--for a 16 ounce they put in three shots of espresso, which is better than most shops. The espresso was smooth and sweet and I could tell that Hilda had it dialed in just right. The cafe offers the normal range of drinks, from standard brew (they usually have a dark and a medium roast available), to cappuccinos and lattes as well as iced teas and smoothies. I haven't tried any of the blended drinks but all the espresso beverages I've had have been perfect. A latte I tried had beautifully steamed milk with creamy foam and just the right amount of vanilla flavor. If you need a caffeine pick-me-up, definitely stop here. It might be the best coffee in McCall, even though it's in a grocery store. Sometimes you have to wait for a barista to be called from the back, but it's normally just a few seconds to wait and for me, it's always been worth it. read more

After several occurrences of wrong pricing, to the benefit of Ridleys, several loaves of moldy bread, and refusal to return a defective item, we will no longer be shopping here. It's nice to have a grocery store close by but my biggest complaint is that the prices here are a bit steep.

When I first moved to Kuna I preferred Ridleys, but not anymore. I hate how the store is organized, I don't understand why this Hispanic aisle is with the toiletries and how frozen is clear across the store. They have little to no produce and seem to not carry items I'm looking for. The deli is basically always empty or grossly old. And the prices aren't worth the quality. read more

My favorite local town grocery and more. Ridley's has everything the grocery stores in town have and then some. Bakery, Deli and even an Ace Hardware Store! If you need it they've got it. Came across Ridley's on the way back from having dinner at Lima Limon restaurant. It was such a nice find and I wish there was one next door to where we live. They carry more specialty items and the prices are a bit higher. But this is the kind of store where you explore all the shelves in search of those items you cannot find at a regular grocery store. Rude and inconsiderate employees especially in the deli, where they want to close shop by 5 o'clock instead of having ample food on Supply.... even weekends including Friday nites. The meat department.... sad the help the older blonde is very very rude and is inconvenienced when you ask for anything!!!!! We are done shopping here Kuna Ridleys. McCall does a fantastic job. I'm glad to have a nice, clean alternative in Kuna. And the Starbucks is nice. But I've been shopping there since they opened and I'm constantly disappointed in their produce. They have a better selection than the other grocery store in Kuna, but almost every time I've bought produce one thing or another is moldy or on the verge of going bad. A month or so ago they had strawberries on sale and I'm sure it was because in each package there were at least one, if not more that were moldy. And last week ran in to get cherry/grape tomatoes and every single container except the "organic" (which were double the price) had multiple shriveled tomatoes in it. So disappointing. Other than the produce, I've had good experiences in there. Their staff isn't overly friendly, but they aren't rude either. The store is nice and clean and the weekly sales, with the exception of the produce, tend to have a good selection of products. I like that they have a (small) salad and warm food bar for a quick meal. I'm looking forward to trying the soups in the fall/winter. read more

Kuna is a breath of fresh air. Words can't even explain the awe of the vegetable and fruit departments and how fresh their produce is and that they have organic some local farmers is impressive they supports our community which I found to be amazing I would shop at Ridleys over Albertsons or WinCo or any other stores just because of their meat and produce department the other aisles are just a bonus and their ads are awesome read more

Ridley's is conveniently located in Kuna and it is a super nice store. I really appreciate having this store so close to my house. They have a great lounge upstairs above the produce area with chairs and a nice big screen. A Starbucks is also conveniently located in the store (wish they had a drive through). They always have great meat specials and due to their pricing of their overall store, I generally shop the sales only which is a bummer. They have a great deli area with a great selection of Boar's Head products. A couple things to improve to get the 5 stars. I would love to see their produce quality improve and produce price be more reasonable and friendlier staff. read more

Well not to impressed with the service here. Went to this store tonight to grab something real quick. Went to get In line and there was two registers open. There were three - four people in each line then I noticed neither line was being helped and both cashiers were bent over watching something on a cell phone while we all were standing there waiting. Finally they finished up and started to help customers. I was like wow! They really care about their customers. Not impressed. read more

Disgusting they're keeping everything so "clean" especially during covid makes me concerned at the possibility they're positive and can't even realize what they're doing to people's lives. A couple of days ago I had a very uncomfortable experience with a checker. As I was going through her line she asked if I had a Ridley's card, when I replied no she physically yelled asking me why not. I explained that I would be moving soon and she continued to yell at me loudly asking me questions about my personal life I did not want to answer. She was so distracted trying to pry an answer from me that she wouldn't press next on her computer so that I could insert my card and pay for my groceries so that I could leave; I felt trapped there and finally after answering her questions I was able to pay and leave. I've never been yelled at by a checker at a grocery store before, Albertsons is only 3 minutes further down the road, I think ill stick to Albertsons from now on. read more

It just seems everything in this store is Meh. Except the doughnuts, those are the BEST grocery store doughnuts in the valley. The employees aren't horrible but aren't friendly either and the store is really dirty which is crazy because it's not that old. They built a brand new building for this location. read more

I was so disappointed at the lack of selection at the grocery end of this store. When I went there the other day to buy soda the cashier didn't know how to ring up the sale price (after it didn't come up automatically) and had to calculate the price by writing on her hand. Well if you don't check your receipt for every single transaction you won't get the advertised price and MOST of the time you still don't get the advertised price even though you do put your phone number in for your advantage card. THIS HAS HAPPENED EVERY TRIP I'VE EVER BEEN TO RIDLEYS, some sort of discrepancy about the price got to go to customer service to get reimbursed or argue about it, and speaking of customer service, there is none. Outrageous pricing unless you use on of their Advantage Cards. They don't accept any other cards and you have to sign up for theirs. Not good for people just passing through unless you take the time to fill out one of their applications. That's pretty hard to do when others are waiting behind you in the grocery line. Some of the things are almost double the price. Such a rip-off. Not too impressed with their level of customer service. I really like this Ridleys for stocking up between my main grocery runs. The Ace Hardware inside great and convenient too. My only issue is how many toy racks we have to pass at the front of the store and on the way out. My kids can only pass the toys so many times before they start to break down and it makes me not want to take them here. I know this is by design and it has been taken too far here. read more

Stopped in to get a quick drink on my way home and on my way out I was stopped by multiple employees and was accused of theft. I had to empty my pockets to prove to them I didn't steal anything and they still treated me like I was a criminal. Starbucks is right on point for everything from cleanliness, nice, happy, and the quality is far superior to moxie in kuna. Today at 5:30-6:00 pm I tried to purchase a fried chicken meal for dinner tonight. The lady told me it would be about 13 minutes for the next batch to come up. I figured no big deal and waited around for it. After 13 minutes I returned to the deli counter and the lady told me she was still waiting on other pieces and the only chicken she could sell me was a ten piece. I did not need a ten piece of chicken meal for just my husband and me :( She told me the next batch would be about 30 minutes for whatever chicken pieces she was missing. Why did she not tell me that before hand? I would not have waited around for the 13 minutes? I went to the only manager available (grocery manager) and he said "I apologize, I will let the deli manager know about this". Really??? I would have expected him to say how many pieces of chicken would you like and made it work with the chicken that was available at that time. Very poor customer service!!! read more
