I discovered I had bed bugs June 4, 2026. Rueben came out the next day promptly. Informed me that yes I had bed bugs. They came back out June 6, 2026 and sprayed my apartment. Bedbugs-ugh!!! Tried to get rid of for more than 2 years. Large commercial companies wanted more than $2,500. Locally owned Rid-X price was reasonable at $750. They inspected, gave me instructions on what to do before & after, did very thorough treatment. We're respectful of my property. The bugs are very difficult to get rid of, I signed a contract for them to inspect every 2 months & spray at no additional cost if/when bugs detected. Showed real concern to accomplish this, used same technician for all treatments. read more

If bobby the main guy tries to sell you a story about mosquito free guarantee... RUN! Its inaccurate and its a lie I unfortunately fell victim to.. not only did he NOT fix my mosquito issue, he did NOT fix my red ant issue(main reason I called him out because I have young kids getting bit) ant after 3 attempts too! I had to hassle him to even get response back, bad business. He tells me after the fact that him mixing ant and mosquito spray is "the reason" red ants were still here.. Then why mix Bobby??! Makes no sense and then he says "I'll even come back at no charge to you" correction you charged me 175 with NO RESULTS! Anyways buyer beware because he doesnt Guarentee his work NO REFUNDS even if it doesnt work after 3 attempts which should say a lot... If he was confident in his product hed guarentee like Termimix does for instance BUT HE DOESNT! His own receptionist wasnt sure why he would guarentee mosquitos smh.. Take your business else where or you'll regret like me who will be cutting losses for a better service with actual GUARENTEE read more

We've used RidX for 4 years now - no complaints. We don't have many bug problems any more. We had a few cockroaches one time and they came right out and took care of it for us. He said, if it is worse than normal, I will call you with an updated price before I complete the work. He ended up going out THAT EVENING (I just needed it done in the next 4 days and he OVER PERFORMED!!!) He calls me this morning and says, It's done and it will cost what I quoted you. I said, WOW, that was normal??? He said NOT AT ALL, it was crazy, but I didn't call you first so I am honoring my original quote. A man of his word, we don't get much of that anymore. To summarize, he provided prompt, fair service at a reasonable price and maintained all promises he made to me. He did this knowing I was out of the area and he could have really taken advantage but instead he did the right thing and chose to go above and beyond. I am blow away and thankful! Just bought a house and needed to make sure termites are "active" before doing treatment because it is costly. Other termite inspections done only say "evidence" of subterranean termite. Called and ask if they can tell if termites are active or not. Office lady said yes, he's very good, he'll know and that the pest report will also cover other types of pest. Thought that maybe they have some kind of detection equipment like what I've seen on youtube. Scheduled for 4-6pm. By 6, no one showed up so I called the office but no one answered. Thought he wasn't going to show up anymore but he came at 6:20. This is in the fall so it was dark at about 5:30 already. Showed him where the "evidence" was at. Asked him if he knows if the termites are active or not. He took one look and said yes, they're active...... He continued to look around the house and figure out the layout of the house. In the laundry room, he found a tool and asked if he can keep it....... At the end of his "inspection," I showed him another spot that I didn't tell him about to see if he is able to find it or not (which he did not)...... It was evidence for drywood termite that another company pointed out when they came by to give me an estimate for the subterranean termite treatment earlier that day. He did not inspect the outside of the house other than to get a layout of the house for his report. Plus it was dark already and no lighting in some areas. I think he was more interested in the house, 3/2 and 4 living room/dinning room, how much I bought it for, how much I'm going to rent it out for, it's his birthday, he just bought his baby mama a car, etc, than actually doing his job. The previous inspection report done by another company also indicated water leaks in the house, cracks on the outside of the house, where wood is rotting, etc. on top of the termite evidence for the same price(Competitor termite control). The ridx report I received only had 2 items on there....guess which ones...... So at the end of the day, I'm still unsure if the termites are active or not and a bill for $75 for inspection work that I had to show the guy myself which has INSPIRED me to put in the efforts to create an account just to post this review.
