We had a guy...a bug guy that serviced our prop for years. About a year ago we began having a problem with little black bugs. Our "guy" tried everything and anything but could figure out why they always came back and after a while basically gave up. I called @valley wide pest control because they were a larger company with clearly more resources. Valley Wide did not disappoint! They didn't give up. They brought the owner, a PhD entomologist, stronger traps and chemicals. They must have made a dozen trips to our house. We finally found the source and our bugs are on their way out! The company was very accommodating, friendly and responsive but I really didn't notice a difference from spraying the out door home defense vs. what they sprayed‍ I will say I was happy they did clear cobwebs and a wasp nest that was forming (we didn't notice it before). I think if I wanted the inside of the home sprayed or needed something else done I'd hire then again but for now I'll keep using the outside home defense. read more

Be very aware with their billing. Loved the service we had for 3 years but received a letter from them they turned us over to collections for missing a payment and stopped our service. I have every single copy of payments paid. Called them and they couldn't find a missing payment and the "supervisor" told me it was probably from 2 years ago. She also said the collections letter was not actual collections. Had to call again for proof our acct was at zero and cancelled even though they told me they would send me a copy. Lost a customer over something that could have easily been fixed but they were not willing to look into it. read more

Requested a TERMITE inspection because that was what my lender needed. Apparently "termite inspection" means whole house water damage and termite inspection. The process was not clear when the inspector came. It was about 20 minutes in when the inspector kept turning on the faucets and I asked why he was doing that did I found out it wasn't just a termite inspection. The whole process was slow, with the inspector claiming he couldn't get into the attic because of "diminished roof clearance and insulation" (his words from the report). This was false. He said he would not need to go to the attic in the main house. In the garage (no insulation in the garage attic), he popped his head in, but opted no to go in due to bad knees. Once the water damage and termite inspection was complete (about an hour) I was told I'd have the report "in a few days". More like a week. Even with a phone call asking if they could produce the report sooner due to my expected closing date, it still took a week. Seriously? Needless to say, my closing date got moved because we were waiting on the "pest" inspection report. Also, be warned, they will not use the NPMA-33 Form that most VA lenders want. They instead use form 43M-41. Thankfully I have a usual pest control guy (he recommended this place for the inspection) so this place was a one time use only sort of thing. read more

Terrible service. Horrible communication. On his very first visit, the technician did not know he was supposed to spray inside my home. When I signed up I was offered some sort of "you don't have to pay for our annual fee" which then turned in to, "you have to pay $150 to start". I paid $150 plus the next month's service which was $40 and got 2 outdoor sprays. When I called to cancel, Jordan, did not even attempt to apologize. I had been with A-Leave pest control which had done a phenomenal job for me for years! They were prompt, kind and efficient. This company, Valley Wide, took over the company when A-Leave let go of their Fresno location. I received a voicemail (while I was out of town on a trip) indicating that this was happening and that they would be continuing the service with me and their route. I did think it was a little odd that I wasn't asked but figured if A-Leave trusted them, that was fine. Plus I didn't want to go through the hassle of a start up fee, initial appointment and looking for another. I never had anyone show up, so I called and they let me know that since I didn't call back to say I wanted their service that I would have to pay an initial fee, etc. I told him that I was never asked to call back, just that they would be continuing the service. His reply was that most people called back and said it was fine. I didn't get the feeling they cared to have another customer, anyway. Needless to say, I'll be looking for a pest control. I called Valley Wide because I was concerned about bug bites I was getting over several days of cleaning my Fresno rental house for new tenants. Since I had been working both inside cleaning, and outside trimming and planting, I wasn't sure of the source. Nathan listened carefully, brought me up-to-speed on the relatively new bedbug education and Lease Addendum requirements for rentals (CA AB551), and immediately e-mailed copies of all the relevant documents to me! With my new tenants due to arrive from Texas in 4 days, Nathan squeezed my house into his already-fully-booked schedule, sprayed / treated the property inside and out, and inspected for bed bugs (none found, yay!). He is extremely knowledgeable, and his prices are very reasonable and competitive.
