DR Riggs is a very caring doctor! He loves animals and treats them as if they were his own. I have never seen a rude action from him!

Your hometown veterinarian clinic that truly cares about your pet. I have been coming here well…read moreover four years now with multiple animals. The animals are treated with respect and care as if it was a human. The staff is truly amazing, everyone is so friendly. The services and procedures are very reasonably priced. This location is walking only with no appointments. Convenience, quality, and exceptional detail is what you'll get!

However, my dog had an accident that resulted in a…read moreliteral gaping hole in her chest and we took her here because it's more affordable than any other animal clinic in the area. When we arrived we were checking in at the front desk. The receptionist was not kind. She had an attitude even tho my sister in law and I were very very nice and patient. A nurse came over to take a look at the wound on Gracie, she took not even 2 seconds to look at it and told us there was really nothing they could do. You can see my dogs fat on the inside without even having to really look. Then, we proceeded to wait for an eternity, (and yes I do understand that there are other patients, however a priority system would be extremely effective). They were seeing animals who had minor issues, like getting lab work done or shots, meanwhile my dog has an actual open hole in her chest that NEEDS to be stitched up or stapled or something. There is no possible way that we can leave this wound open without there being potential for an infection that could kill my dog. And lastly, my SIL went in to see if there was any bottled water and a water bowl she could purchase because our dog is thirsty, and the receptionist completely and blatantly ignore her. I've always heard really good things about this place, and have read multiple reviews about how good they are with everyone's animals, but I am extremely disappointed and dissatisfied with the treatment that we received today. I'm also going to attach a picture of what her wound looks like. We are currently in a room, but now it's another waiting game on how long it's going to take to be seen. We are going on hour 3.

I brought my cat to Airport Pet Emergency Clinic due to a urinary obstruction that developed after…read moresedation at a general practice. Dr. Dolan was truly outstanding. He clearly explained two treatment options and thoughtfully considered that my cat is older and had been recently sedated. I initially chose the more conservative option, but when my cat needed to return for catheterization under sedation, Dr. Dolan was excellent during both procedures. His communication was clear, calm, and honest, and I genuinely felt that his recommendations were centered on my cat's welfare. After stabilization, my cat--while catheterized--was transferred to a 24-hour emergency clinic in Asheville, where he was hospitalized for three days. I'm incredibly grateful to this practice for stabilizing him and setting him up for the care he needed next. For an emergency hospital, the cost was also very reasonable. I sincerely hope I won't need emergency services again, but if I do, I would absolutely return here.

These symptoms were extremely distressing and clearly required urgent medical attention. At the clinic, I was told Bentley's condition might be related to his pancreas. Bloodwork was performed, and I was informed that his white blood cell count was high. The clinic recommended keeping Bentley overnight for hydration at a cost of $2,200, which I could not afford. Despite Bentley's age and the seriousness of his symptoms, he was not given anything for pain, vomiting, or diarrhea. No supportive medications were administered to ease his suffering while he was in their care. Additionally, communication from the staff was poor. The receptionist was talking on the phone and did not respond to me when I asked questions about Bentley's condition, treatment plan, or options. This left me without critical information during an already stressful situation. I was also told that Bentley had to be picked up at 7:00 AM Monday morning. I explained that I had a doctor's appointment at 7:30 AM and would not be able to pick him up at that exact time. I asked if I could pick him up slightly later that morning. The clinic refused and stated that I could not pick him up at any other time. This rigid policy did not take Bentley's medical needs--or my circumstances--into consideration.

He went a month without pooping and eventually had to have him put to sleep. Whatever he did it wasn't the same thing my vet up north did because Junebug always did very good with the procedure. Won't be taking my other boy Bristol there ever. Margaret B Mitchell is the place to go they work with you on payments if you're low on cash. They have a very friendly caring staff and the prices for everything they do are very low as much as 95 percent off. I highly recommend them. Dr Dotson was very nice and worked with me on payments for the procedure but it didn't work out in the end like it did with my other vet for some reason. It just could've been Junebugs time he had mega colon hip dysplasia he was missing two vertebrates at the base of his tail so he had to hop like a rabbit when he walked or ran. We had a bond like no other because he was born at 2:31 a.m. on my birthday and we both had the same back disease so tell me if that's not a solid soulmate Bond right there. he was my best friend in the entire world I loved him more than any other human being I've ever loved on this Earth...
