While I was recommended to someone at the that specific bank and inquired about the employee, the girl at the teller gave me quite a nasty look and implied that she had no idea who I was talking about (while the personnel I was inquiring about was out that day). This bank missed out on a good customer, too bad its too much effort to put potential customers first for the girls at this bank.

I have my mortgage through Salem Five. They were great to work with throughout the lending…read moreprocess. However, I have had multiple issues trying to pay my mortgage. It should not take five trips to the website and multiple calls to the Call Center to make a monthly payment. First, their website link to pay online does not work. You cannot be logged into your account and have to go off their generic site. Finally, I am able to make a payment on 12/5. It should process within 1-2 days. It does not process at all and on 12/12, there is a note saying they could not locate the account. The same account that I have used to make all my payments in the past. My bank received no attempts to debit the money. Now, I have no way to guarantee my payment arrives to them in time to avoid being late. I had to make the payment through my bank, whom I can trust NOT Salem Five. I have never had more trouble trying to pay a bill that will impact my credit so severely if it is late. If I could switch my mortgage company, I would.

That's right folks, an actual human being. Recently, I needed proof my loan had been paid off for something else and even though I wasn't a current customer and I had called at the end of their work day, they jumped to helped me, faxed me what I needed immediately and then mailed the original.
