This is my first visit to a cat cafe and it was so much fun! I love cats and haven't had my own for a while so it was fun to hang out with all these different kitties for an hour. You start by making a reservation for the cat room ahead of time. Make sure you bring socks because you will have to leave your shoes in a cubby once you enter. When you arrive, you can get a drink to take in with you. They have coffee, teas and boba drinks - I had a watermelon fruit tea and it was way too sweet for me - I wish I had got a coffee instead but live and learn. The staff are super friendly and everyone else enjoyed their drinks. When you are ready, you get a little briefing then they let you into the cat room. The cats are all up for adoption and this place gives them a chance to get a little socialization before they find their new homes. When we were there they had about a dozen hanging around in different spots. There are plenty of places to sit and toys you can use to play with the cats if you want. If you don't leave this place 5 stars I hope cats find your body when you pass away and eat your face off. For real, if you can't give an organization that only exists to help helpless animals, then you are a garbage human being. First off, cats! I mean, who doesn't love natures best killing machine. It's like evolution took all the great qualities of a killer, a predator, gave it amazing agility and balance, stealth, knives for fingers and then said, lets make you tiny and cute so humans can pick you up and snuggle a death machine. This place is super small and their parking lot holds like 5 cars. If it's full just park across the street at the recreation center and walk the nice path over to the cat cafe. Be sure to pray before you cross 401 because you'll need the extra help with all of these imported Yankee drivers. Inside most of the space is dedicated to cats, big surprise right??? There is a small bar with a counter to make your order. Maybe 2 tables and then a bench with a glowing neon sign meant for taking photos for the gram. There are a few small tables outside and around to the front of the building. You need to make reservations to see the kitties. It's about $10 per person weekdays and $12 on the weekend for a 45 minute session. You may take your drinks in and the kitties may try to get a sip if you have something delicious. Socks are required, if you don't have any they do sell some for $4-5 a pair. There are 8-10 spots available depending on the time of day. So if you book five spots for your family, you may be mixed in with 5 other individuals. There is plenty of room and this isn't an issue but you can book the entire room for the hour for $110. Remember, all of this money goes to support taking care of the cats including food and really expensive vet care. Finally, you came here for cats right, not really for drinks...but the drinks are really good. We usually get boba. They have very limited options not a full menu like you'd find at Bep or other boba dedicated cafés. Like I love jasmine and they don't have it here. But I usually just get taro and it's fine. Their Thai iced tea with boba is pretty good. You can adjust the sweetness and the amount of ice so I usually get light ice and 25% sweet to save a few calories. They have coffee, chai, hot chocolate, tea and a few other items. Enjoy a drink and help some kitties! read more

The first cat cafe to show up in Fuquay initially made me nervous, but Right Meow surprised me! The place itself is small, but they separate the cafe from the cat room. They do a great job in balancing the two and it's very clean! You can make an appointment online and pay $10 to get access to the cat room. The menu has a wide variety of drinks, with non dairy milk options (almond, oat and coconut milks). I appreciate the many coffee flavors available, and the seasonal options! I got a brown sugar cinnamon latte with oat milk and my husband got a hokkaido boba (a marshmallow-like flavor). This cat cafe was a fun way to pass 55 minutes of my day. When you arrive they go over the rules before you enter. Make sure that you wear socks because those are required since you have to take off your shoes (socks are available to purchase). They will do their best to have at least 12 cats but it could be less if they get adopted. All of the staff members were fantastic and very knowledgable! Bubble teas, fruit teas and coffee are available if you want a drink before or after your session. They also have a small area of cute merchandise for sale. I recommend checking out this spot if you are a cat lover right meow. Reservations: reservation required, book online and show up at your designated time slot. Absolutely amazing experience. The owners are heavily involved with there work and are so kind and friendly. The cookie dough latte I had was worth every penny. I didn't have the boba but I'm pretty sure they make it in house and let you try a sample for free if it's your first time venturing into boba. The gift shop was absolutely amazing I got stickers made by a local high schooler which is Pokémon x cats themed. A new cat cafe has appeared! They serve boba (also known as bubble tea, boba tea) with the purrfect cat aesthetic and a separated area to play with cats (reserve sessions online). They have a merchandise wall of for cats and for cat lovers. The parking is limited and the cafe entrance is at the back. There's a see through window to peep in the cat room from the cafe side. A couple of little tables and chairs to sit in. I came in today with intentions to only get a drink since I didn't reserve a cat session. I got the Classic Meowlk Boba (most of their drinks have a cat pun within the name, how cute!) and a Taro Boba. We got the regular tapioca boba but there are other options like popping bubbles. They also have other non dairy milk alternatives. There are coffee/espresso options available and fruit teas without milk. Service was pretty decent considering how there were other patrons ahead of me. Maybe 5 minutes of waiting? Not bad at all for a mid day visit. For an area with limited boba options, it's not bad. The tapioca boba is a little harder than I'm used to but not old tasting like other places. I need to book an appointment to play with the cats and try the coffee side of their menu! read more

I'm not sure why the other reviews are only 4 stars. This place is SO cute and my drink was delicious! (We got the brown sugar boba but I want to try something different because they all sound good). Parking is limited and there are only a few seats inside...but the staff is so friendly and they have a lot of drink options. They have cute merchandise and the prices were so cheap I almost fainted. As a life-long cat person, I'm thrilled to have a cat cafe right in Fuquay! Located on S Main St down and across the road from South Park splash pad and the Community Center. For parking, you enter the property at the 2nd driveway and park in the rear of the building. If you miss it, you can turn left at the next street and turn around and turn right into the first driveway. The other driveway is the exit. Be sure to make a Cat Experience reservation ($10+tax) online before you go (they fill up fast!), read the rules carefully, wear/bring socks, arrive early, and bring a credit card to pay for any optional drinks or merch you might want to buy. I admit I was skeptical about how the boba (bubble) tea was going to taste because not everyone knows how to make it well, and it's rare to find it around here. But I was quite surprised with how good it tasted! For my first visit I got Taro Boba Tea, which is my favorite. I noticed the boba (tapioca balls) were warm at first in my iced drink, but once I stirred my drink they quickly cooled down and the flavors blended nicely. A nice surprise with the service was that it was quick and they even brought my drink to me in the cat room, which I appreciated. Ok, finally for the cats and the overall vibe. On that day, our group was the first one for the morning, and once we were let inside the cat room and removed our shoes, the kitties - mostly kittens initially - were happy to see us and many came to greet us. Some of the young adult cats were sleeping in soft beds tucked away in various parts of the rooms. But the kittens were having such fun playing together and it was so fun to watch them! They were friendly and interacted with us "hoomans" too at times. One kitten even curled up in my lap for a while and melted my heart. I liked that before we were let into the cat room, the owner reminded us to talk softly and calmly while we were in the cats (so we didn't stress them out). I noticed that the cats had lots of options for playing, snoozing, looking out the window, or chilling in the cat towers, bowls, beds, or cushions. There was even a room off limits to us visitors where the cats could relax or snack if they needed a break. I noticed the decor in the cat rooms and the lobby/check in area was nicely done with bright colors and simple tables and chairs. So you can sit at a table in the cat room to read or hang out with the cats on the floor or on a cushion anywhere to watch or play with them. I hope to come with my neighbor (who's not an animal person) just to enjoy coffee or tea sometime in the lobby too. I think I'm gonna need to purchase a membership pass since I can see myself coming here to visit the kitties a lot! read more

First off, I love cats! I was very excited for Fuquay-Varinas own cat cafe. It lived up to and exceeded all my expectations. First off, I got a Boba tea, my first one ever. It was yummy. I would go back just to buy a drink and support them without seeing the kitties. But of course the kitties are the main show. They did not disappoint. There were lots of kittens available who were playful and energetic. There was Budda, a grumpy old man of 12 who was so sweet and loved the brush. The cat area is huge with lots of room to run and play. There is plenty of seating for the humans. Tons of cat enrichment and cat trees. Even places for the cats to hide and get away from humans if need be. Overall a great place for cats and humans. You can even adopt a kitty if you meet that special furry friend. read more
