As always the staff is very nice, helpful and patient (so many delicious options) I got a fantastic salted latte, it was made perfectly and tasted so good. I parked just up the road at Dorothia Dix Park, it was a short beautiful walk. I sat inside and sipped on my coffee and enjoyed the music. You can sit in or out, you can order food. They have recycling when you are finished.

A great way to start your Friday! Local coffee house with delicious food and even more delicious drinks! I grabbed a Iced Peach Tea with mint, orangecicle donut with creme, and coffee cake! My mom and I especially enjoyed the refreshing mint in the tea. They even offered to warm our coffee cake!

First time at willow house, but it won't be my last. Great coffee and community atmosphere. Lots of people working on laptops and mingling with others in the seating area. I got the salty southerner latte after it was recommended by a barista and it was great. Highly recommend! I will definitely be back.

Great cute coffee shop!! Staff was helpful with great suggestions. The matcha is good for a coffee shop. Definitely not the best matcha i had but it definitely surprisingly good for a coffee shop since usually those disappoints me.

Love trying matcha lattes at different places and it went really well. Their matcha doesn't contain sweetener, so you can add flavors and pair. I chose vanilla and honey and it was bomb with Almond milk. The lady behind the counter is always so nice and helpful. I had just missed out on a live dj and I came around noon. Also the coffee cake that my sister ordered looked delicious. She is now a lover of their matcha lattes as well! Willow House is always a vibe, strong coffee smells and the cutest decor. The even have a little area for kids to play if you want to bring your lo.

Bryan & Judy--walk in and you're greeted with a smile and pure friendliness. Super cute and cozy inside with places to hang out with your favorite people, or work! So many assortment available coffee, tea, and more, gluten-free assortment as well! Drinks made fresh just for you. Baked good brought in from locals!! Want to try something unique? Head here first.

Inviting, casual coffee shop in downtown Raleigh. The owners Judy and Bryan are sweet and welcoming. You can tell they are passionate about serving good coffee, providing a place for community engagement, and supporting other local businesses. We have enjoyed their coffee, matcha berry lattes, and Artie Bars (produced by a Raleigh baker). In addition to Artie Bars, they sell baked goods from other local bakeries like Nana's Lil Sweets and Tepuy Donuts. Willow house hosts a variety of events, posted on the website and listed on the counter. Parking: small parking lot available out front. Parking garage and street parking nearby. It is also walkable from Dorothea Dix park.

Service: The owners were serving and they were are fantastic and know their coffees! Fast and gave amazing recommendations! Ambience: It's a nice place to hang out and I can see it being a great place for a first Day time date! Casual setting with natural dark wood and iron aesthetics. Food/Drinks: Coffee and Teas was perfection. Not too biter and packs a punch. We the Matcha Berry Latte and the Honey Honey Tea. The tea was perfectly infused with sweet honey and hot ginger notes. The latte was sweet and tangy from the berry cold foam. It has a more raspberry/blueberry notes in the cold foam. The matcha wasn't too bitter. Nice pairing.. Overall will come back again!

I absolutely LOVE willow house! Truly the best coffee house in Raleigh. They have incredible service, the food is always delicious and local. The espresso doesn't taste burnt or bitter - truly the best I've ever had. I've had multiple things off the menu and have never left disappointed. Her hot sauce is sooo good too!! Can be a little loud at times but not over whelming. Tables fill up quickly. People tend to like to come here to wfh or students.

I love the atmosphere they've created and having games, books and magazines to read or play while enjoying your coffee. Their breakfast sandwiches are super tasty and you can tell they care about the quality of their drinks/food. The owners are super sweet too!

    London Fog

Don't order. Very weak. In actuality it tasted like skim milk. No tea flavor and definitely no vanilla which is what's called for in a London Fog. Maybe it was due to it being a cold LG. But it had light ice with whole milk. Very disappointing overall. The service was nice and the place is nicely set up.

She came back with a small bowl of the cornichons and grilled peaches, if you're selling something make sure everything you talk about is going to be served the way it's described. Okay that aside, the smash burger my boyfriend had was great but the salmon... genuinely terrible. I love salmon and all fish honestly but it was just not cooked well, it tasted like it had been boiled or something it was soggy and had such a spoiled smell I was having trouble eating it because of how it smelled. I didn't feel like saying yet another thing about the meal to the waitress so I just left it at that but it was not a pleasant experience to say the least. The kitchen needs to do better!!!!!

I've been a couple of Mondays - one where the special was the fusilli, and another where it was the mafaldine. Hands down, the mafaldine was my favorite. It was so creamy, so flavorful, and the chef that night cooked it perfectly. For extra substance, I typically order the chicken parm on the side, and it's good, just a bit pricey for $20 since it's just chicken and sauce (with a small side of salad). I feel it's a good Monday night spot though since you can keep coming and keep trying the different pastas on special, and it's a fun moody vibe inside.

Walking in you'll feel like you've been transported to a rustic, lively, and romantic vibe. The menu consists of small plates which I enjoy as you can try several different dishes. To start I ordered the love of the stranger (west coast ipa) and the raspberry sour. Fun fact flour & barrel also brews their own beer. By far my favorite was the raspberry sour. For entrees we ordered the Mafaldine pasta (creamy pesto / lemon / panko breadcrumbs / dill) which was excellent. The pasta was fresh and piping hot and delicious. We also wanted a protein source so we also ordered the Chicken Parm (crispy crunchy panko / marinara / mozzarella) which was cooked perfectly, and wasn't dry. Definitely check flour & barrel out if you are in the Glenwood south area looking for good Italian food.

We had a reservation and lucked into street parking directly outside, though paid lots and a garage are nearby. Inside, Figulina is eclectic and moody, with a warm, intimate energy. Our table gave us a view of much of the restaurant, including fresh pasta being made nearby. Our server was kind and knowledgeable. My husband ordered the Marchesi di Grésy Moscato d'Asti, while I chose the Heatwave, made with serrano mezcal, watermelon, Cocchi Rosa and lime. It was easily one of the best cocktails I've had in Raleigh. Smoky, slightly spicy and bright, with just enough watermelon to soften the mezcal without overpowering it. As a mezcal lover, I loved every sip. We started with the Whipped Ricotta, layered with watermelon, cantaloupe, shiso, pickled watermelon rind and pistachio, plus four slices of house focaccia. Creamy, fresh and slightly sweet, it was even better scooped onto the warm bread. For dinner, I ordered the Cappellacci with corn, chèvre, mushroom conserva, serrano and Pecorino Toscano. It was beautifully prepared, but sweeter than I expected, and the combination of the pasta and mushrooms wasn't quite for me. My husband absolutely loved his Grilled Pork Chop, served with corn soubise, field peas, fried okra, serrano vinaigrette and watermelon molasses agrodolce. A beautifully composed plate balancing sweet, savory, tangy and a little heat. The restaurant was clean and well maintained, and I loved watching the team work together. Service did slow toward the end, with longer waits for our server to return, but overall, Figulina made for a memorable pre-concert dinner. And that Heatwave? I'd return for it alone.

If you live in Raleigh, you've heard people rave about Boulted Bread - from their titular bread to their morning bun to their croissants, they have everything a carb connoisseur could desire. I visited with a friend on a Tuesday morning (they currently are not open on Mondays) and it was busy. I ordered their seasonal fig leaf latte, the morning bun, chocolate croissant, and a tartine that was kind of like a pizza on a piece of bread. The latte was delicious - it has brown sugar in it, which was perfect as the iced version. The morning bun was delightful - probably my second favorite morning bun/cinnamon roll in Raleigh. The chocolate croissant was filled with chocolate ganache - which I was not expecting - it was messy but also very good. Lastly, the tarine, which like I mentioned, was kind of like a pizza on a piece of toast - it had cheese tomato sauce - simple and savory and tasty.
