As always the staff is very nice, helpful and patient (so many delicious options) I got a fantastic salted latte, it was made perfectly and tasted so good. I parked just up the road at Dorothia Dix Park, it was a short beautiful walk. I sat inside and sipped on my coffee and enjoyed the music. You can sit in or out, you can order food. I love this spot, the wifi is decent with a couple of spotty times i've been there. It's plenty spacious with outlets as well at the bar seating. The staff is always so nice and their matcha is one of my favorites in Raleigh, it's strong!! I tried a seasonal drink with grated lemon but it had too many chunks for my liking. Very nice place to look at, but that is it. I can only speak for the coffee, but oh my god, it was terrible. I once almost finished an entire cup of coffee made with spoiled milk, and I couldn't even get 1/8 through their coffee. It was worse than spelling dog shit. And also, the chairs are so uncomfy, it's dark in there, and there are no outlets for your laptop; there's only one in a tiny corner. Again, really nice to look at up omg. Love trying matcha lattes at different places and it went really well. Their matcha doesn't contain sweetener, so you can add flavors and pair. I chose vanilla and honey and it was bomb with Almond milk. The lady behind the counter is always so nice and helpful. I had just missed out on a live dj and I came around noon. Also the coffee cake that my sister ordered looked delicious. She is now a lover of their matcha lattes as well! Willow House is always a vibe, strong coffee smells and the cutest decor. Coffee was good. It was busy but I was still able to find parking. However their food options were depleted by the time I arrived (10 am). They had no breakfast sandwiches at all. They had English muffins and bagels. I tried to order an English muffin to be told there was only jam or cream cheese to top it with. So I opted out. I feel they need to do something better if they are going to offer food. Most likely I wouldn't go back for this reason. If I want food with my coffee, I want to be able to order what's on the menu and not be told they are all sold out. For this reason alone is why I gave 3 stars. I absolutely LOVE willow house! Truly the best coffee house in Raleigh. They have incredible service, the food is always delicious and local. The espresso doesn't taste burnt or bitter - truly the best I've ever had. I've had multiple things off the menu and have never left disappointed. Her hot sauce is sooo good too!! Don't order. Very weak. In actuality it tasted like skim milk. No tea flavor and definitely no vanilla which is what's called for in a London Fog. Maybe it was due to it being a cold LG. I have to say that I am not out a big coffee person but I actually enjoyed the two that I tried here! The warmer coffee had hints of orange and citrus and it was really enjoyable. They also let us try a cold coffee that was more of a refreshing palate cleanser - i'd never say coffee was refreshing but this one actually was! They have got a cool water filtration system for the coffee and the owners are incredibly passionate about what they do.
