I stopped in here for lunch and I'm glad I did! You wouldn't even think this is a restaurant, there isn't much signage, but I guess that's the point is to make this area feel less commercial. Visited this cafe' for breakfast. It is cute with a modern vibe to it. I was craving a bagel, so I got the Bacon/egg/cheese bagel and added double bacon and cream cheese. It was an option to add, from their online ordering system. I was so excited for this bagel but it did not meet my expectations. The bagels are not fresh, kind of taste store bought and they are pretty small. My egg was cooked hard and the "extra bacon" was one strip for $1.50. I had to add cream cheese to my bagel after paying that as an extra also ($1.50) because I could barely see it on my bagel. All in all, paying $10.41 for that was DEFINITELY not worth it. Some weekends I just have to have one of their amazing bagel/croissant breakfast sandwiches and a tasty iced latte. They close kind of early on the weekends, so keep that in mind. Listen, this caramel frappe was amazing. I noticed a small amount of vanilla bean in it. The croissant was super buttery and the staff were prompt and friendly. I went with my husband at this coffee shop and the food was amazing! The scenery was beautiful with a small european village. We went for breakfast and then went for a walk around the small trail that they have. My husband and I loved the food selections. The coffee was delicious. Overall, the food tasted fresh. In Clayton for a ballgame and found this cute coffee shop about 5 miles from the fields. Ordered two blueberry muffins, one red velvet donut and two Americano coffees. We paid a little over $17 not including a tip. The service was awesome. Ordered one coffee with lots of creamer and they checked with me to make sure it was the right color. It was perfect. The only downside was I probably asked for too much cream because after that my coffee was lukewarm. I probably could have asked for them to warm it up but didn't want to bother them since the cream was my request. All the food was delicious. This is a casual establishment. They offer both inside and outside seating. I will definitely be back if when we are in the area agsin. read more

My husband and I visited here for the first time today. Very underwhelming. He ordered a dirty chai tea latte. This means it has two shots of expresso. He said it was bland. It also took a long time considering he was the only one ordering coffee. I am caffeine free so I do not drink coffee. I also cannot not have flavored teas so I chose the chardonnay. It is September 7th and the chardonnay was not chilled. I had to settle for the red. The barista was completely unaware of the types of wine, there are five choices. My glass of wine was was $10.68 which is a complete rip off for four ounces of mediocre wine. I pay less in Raleigh or Cary. I give two stars because most folks come in for the breakfast sandwiches and the wifi is really nice. Unfortunately, I will not be back. read more

We went for a short walk with our coffees afterward, which added some charm to our trip. However, I have to be honest - our overall coffee experience was not great. I've gone to 9bar many times to get their coffee and sandwiches. I docked a star because their coffee is not very good.... I kept trying to adjust the sweetness level but it either taste like I'm drinking sugar or it's as if they didn't put any sweetener at all. Their coffee is grainy and kind of bitter. Not my favorite. HOWEVER their sandwiches and muffins are amazing! Super delicious, warm, and filling. I come here not for the coffee, but for their food. I dont Normally eat breakfast, but it was my birthday and I'd been up early so I stopped for breakfast with the littles after dropping my oldest off at school. I ordered a small cold brew for me. They had 2 halloween eclairs left so I grabbed those for the littles. I really wanted a ham and cheese breakfast croissant but they only had ham for lunch and the lady was very willing to make a lunch sandwich for me so that was great! The lunch sandwich also comes with chips and a pickle, but I decided to save that for later. Everything was delicious! And the price was right about average compared to other coffee shops. The establishment is located in the Riverwood housing development near the little shops and takeout restaurants. My kids dr office is right across the street so that was perfect! Currently they have removed the tables and chairs inside but patrons are welcome to dine outside at their garden tables by the sidewalk.
