There was a whole extra layer concrete and brick that was underneath some sections. This added a ton of time and effort, but Aldo didn't think twice about taking care of it. I submitted a request for bids on Yelp and Aldo properly responded. While I was waiting to gather more contact s for bids Aldo reached out to me after 2 to 3 days to see if I was still interested, so I could tell that he had follow through and took his business seriously. Good sign. I was initially hesitant to use him due to the name of the company. I had it in my mind that I needed a landscaper to correct the sink hole, but I was wrong. Upon meeting, Aldo I was impressed with his punctuality and friendliness. He gave us a very fair bid for the amount of work to be done. My wife and I felt that he was the right fit and asked him when he could start. He had his crew began the work within two hours of signing a contract that day. They came in on budget, finished the work in the agreed upon timeline and returned the landscaping to pristine condition. It really is wonderful to see a business who takes their jobs seriously and puts so much attention on the customer and doing a great job. Aldo is the man!

I did get several quotes, but I just had a good feeling about how conscientious and thorough Xavier was about the work that needed to be done in my front and backyard, and other related tasks that should be taken care of. He and his team finished on time, while having to repair some irrigation items that wasn't planned for. If you want quality and reliable work, then you should definitely talk to Xavier. I will definitely use him for future projects.

First off special thanks to the dream Team Melvin, Alejandro, Miguel, Alex for making our home landscaping look 110% beautiful! We were interviewing 5 other landscaping and hardscaping companies and not only did Xavier fit our personalities but he also helped us budget our outdoor project into phases which helps us financially. He even worked with us without a designer (due to our tight budget) but if you need one Xavier suggests Grimes Natural Landscaping. If you're not willing or don't have the time to learn plants and paver layout then hire a designer. Although Xavier has great natural instincts and experience on all landscaping design (I feel he should also incorporate being a designer). The Team is clean, thorough, communicative, careful (with gas pipes, waterlines, etc.), and they are actually certified to do more (previous GC messed up our master bathroom pipes and they fixed it: plumbing). E.g. Xavier touches basis with you on a daily basis and when he says they will get it done a certain day it gets done rain or shine unless it rains too much. I will post photos and videos soon, the rainy days images are not the best.

But Lassiter Excavation was so good that I couldn't continue to be lazy.  For context, I was replacing an old 35,000-gallon swimming pool with a skinnier lap pool. Lassiter started by completely removing the massive 1975 pool, including every scrap of concrete and piping.  Then they backfilled and compacted. Working to my soils engineer's specifications, they imported and compacted 18 truckloads of quarry fines in carefully controlled 8-inch lifts through the full 12-foot depth of the deep end, all the way to finished grade. They used multiple pieces of equipment, including jumping jacks, a Bobcat, and a vibratory sheepsfoot roller (which I had to look up), and they coordinated compaction testing throughout the process.  When they were done, it looked like a pool had never been there. The site was fully prepared for the new excavation, which Lassiter then completed flawlessly.  I measured their forms with a laser level and laser tape measure, and length, width, diagonals, position and elevations were all within 1/8 inch. That's impressive considering the new lap pool is nearly 60 feet long. When they were finished digging, the walls and floor were razor straight and right on their marks. The crews were outstanding -- friendly, hardworking, detail-oriented, and consistently professional. They maintained an exceptionally clean jobsite throughout the project and even helped me reclaim some old redwood decking.  Special thanks to Santana, Ricardo, Daniel, Jose and team for answering all my questions and caring so much about the end result. If you're considering any excavation work, I highly recommend reaching out to Lassiter Excavation and talking with Bob. They exceeded my expectations in every respect.

I was looking for someone to replace our makeshift…read moreend-of-line cleanout with a proper one, and Jose came out on a Saturday to give me an estimate - super fair pricing and great work done quickly on the next Friday. We ended up telling him about our crumbling cast iron main sewer line under our slab foundation, and a belly in the garage that's been causing us problems every year, and Jose offered us the CIPP + robot cutter trenchless solution so that we don't have to dig up every connection in our house, and it was at a fair price. Since they did a great job with the cleanout replacement, we decided to do the whole sewer line CIPP and dig up the belly too. Jose and crew arrived promptly at the scheduled time to start the work. They dug up a trench in the garage and replaced the section of the pipe with the belly on day 1. After the belly was replaced with new pipe, there was still not enough slope for the new section to properly drain, because the two end of the existing pipes were just at the wrong height and simply replacing the belly was not enough. Jose communicated this to us and proposed another solution where they would pipe burst under the current pipe for the section that's too high to my front yard clean out so that the whole section would have proper slope, at no extra charge. Meanwhile the crew in the back were working on the CIPP in parallel. They measured out where the openings were and carefully marked the linings with the measurements. Inserted the linings, cured it, cut it, then used robot cutters to reopen the connections. After everything was done, they patched everything back, and cleaned up the whole place. When they patched the concrete in the garage back, they made sure put in rebar to support that small cut out section of the concrete. We saw the final result together in the camera inspection and the pipe looks great - no more bellies and one nice sewer line with proper slope and smooth lining. I'm so glad I found this company and Jose who I know I can trust to do high quality work and do the right thing when there are unexpected hiccups that arise. Throughout the process, Jose took time to explain to us what will be done and how it will be done so we were never left in the dark. I really appreciated the clear communication. It was a pleasure working with Jose and crew!

They showed us the new ABS when they finished and explained in detail everything they did. Clean up was impeccable and they took all the old cast iron away. We could not be happier with the results.
