That didn't work, I could still hear water running so I was told it was the pressure in the water line to the house so they put a pressure valve on the meter. Well, I called another plumber and he figure out immediately what it was. Fixed the upstairs toilet and my problem was solved. Their first trip cost me $240. and their second trip cost me $385. On September 26, 2025 I had plumbing work done on my clogged toilet, which caused issues with the…read moresink and bathtub. The plumber who performed the job was Jamari Winston. During the process I observed Jamari forcefully using a snake to unclog the toilet, but unfortunately, the camera broke off in the pipe during the job. Jamari claimed the toilet was unclogged; as well as the tub and sink. He also stated that he would need to return on monday to inspect something. I paid $879.00 to the company. I was not aware that the pipe was busted, but I think Jamari did before he left. The next day while using the toilet sink and bathtub I noticed a leak coming from behind the the wall in the laundry room. I called the company and spoke to a receptionist on saturday and informed her of the situation. I still had to wait until monday to get help with the problem. When Jamari arrived he went in the laundry room and I turned on the water so he could hear it flowing down. He said that he would need to assess the problem and give me a price for the job. Jamari also spoke with my brother on speaker phone and then turned to me and said you want your money back. I was shocked and said sure I want my money back, he then just left. I tried calling several times a day since then and have yet to get a call back from the company. The money was never refunded and I had to pay another plumbing company $1000.00 to fix the broken pipe and reset the toilet with new material. I also have to pay for water remediation for all the water and waste that have accumulated behind the wall from the cracked pipe. The company took pictures of the broken pipe with the snake camera hanging out. I am very very stressed about the situation. From the beginning of the project things went sideways. Our siding salesman promised hardiplank, installed a lesser product that wasn't even the same style. The salesman was fired, but we didn't get what we thought we were paying for. As for the roof, after it was installed, we had a leak that caused some water damage in bedroom, but it was fixed. Fast forward 4 years (we had roof/siding installed in May, 2021), we woke up a few weeks ago after a rainstorm to find water damage in the master bathroom, master bedroom and on the main floor in the kitchen. I called and asked Escex to come look for the leak. Mark Chapin, the roofing manager came out and told us that there was a 'dead spot' on the roof and that he would repair it but it wasn't covered under warranty. He would do the work himself for slightly under $600. I was skeptical, so therefore got another estimate from a well known roofer, who pointed out where they believed the leak came from and why. Below are current day pictures-4 years later. I asked about the quality of work, and the relationship to the leaks., sent emails and left voicemails for Escex Owner ADAM HUMPHREYS-he didn't return any of them. Mark told me he was limited in what he could do because the warranty expired? I wonder if this is the 'quality' Escex is so proud of and if they stand behind this type of workmanship and poor customer service?
