As most of you know, it is rare that I give a five star rating. But this company, Aaron Plumbing with headquarters in Suwanee, GA, was probably the most responsive and professional service I've had in a very long time. My water heater decided not to break on Tuesday evening, and I needed someone to come out and see what went wrong. It was roughly around 630 at night when I realized I had no hot water, so I Googled hot water repair services within my community. I called two plumbing services that were "near me" and both services told me I was out of their servicing zone. So I reached out to my neighbor and he gave me Aaron Plumbing's information. Now, but this time it was around 8:30 PM, but I still pick up the phone and gave them a call and a lovely lady answered the phone immediately. Unfortunately, I cannot remember her name, but she was remarkably friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable, and she went ahead and looked at the schedule for Wednesday. She told me that she could have a plumber out to my house between 8am and 12noon and I was excited that she was able to fit me into their very busy schedule. The young man, Tom Page, that came out Wednesday morning was also very kind and efficient. He was able to tell me that my water heater, which was the original to the house, would no longer be working for me, and that I would need a new one. I actually knew that I would need to replace my water heater at some point in time when I bought my home in 2019. But, as always, it's a disappointment even though you know it's going to happen. Tom actually had the correct water heater on hand and within a couple of hours had my water heater completely replaced. You'll see through the pictures below the old unit, and the new unit. When Tom was done with the installation, he walked me through exactly what he had done, he showed me pictures of what had been, and what was now fixed or replaced. We also had a great conversation on how to purge the silt in the bottom of the tank, once a year, to maintain the good health of my brand new water heater. I would certainly recommend Aaron Plumbing to anyone in the northern Cumming area of Georgia, because Dawsonville plumbing and other plumbing facilities located in Cumming, GA do not service my neighborhood. read more

I had used this service before for a washing machine and had the best guy ever! so when I had an issue with our toilet, called the company again. The kid comes out and tried to tell me to fix a valve seal would cost $370!!! Are you kidding me?! He said he would "step outside" to talk To his manager to drop the price... BS! He was a scammer. My a/c was switching from cool to hot constantly. So I called this company. A technician was dispatched the same day. The technician was nice and friendly. After checking the unit he stated he thought it was a certain part but he wasn't sure. I should have cut my losses then and moved on. But I trusted what he said. I paid the $89 fee. I understood the $89 would be deducted from the price if I used the company. I guess I understood wrong that did not happen. The technician came back Monday and installed the part. The a/c continued switching from air to heat. Now the technician suggested it was the thermostat. So he installed a thermostat and the a/c started working. According to him the thermostat and installation would be 500. I asked him to take the part off and just see if it was the thermostat. He stated he could not take the part off the unit. My disappointment is that there was not a confirmed diagnosis. So my a/c is still not working after spending 500 for a part that might not have been needed. Absolutely horrible experience. My sink faucet had low water pressure and the tech told me the valves under the sink needed to be replaced so the water needed to be shut off. The water underneath the sink was not leaking when he got there. He quoted me $607. I was nit going to pay that. Then the sink started leaking when the water valve was cut on after he left. Had another plumber come over, who checked the air rater and replaced it along with putting Teflon under the sink. He charged me $35. The tech from Aaron's did not check the air rater. If I would of paid the $607 it was not going to fix the issue of the water pressure. It was just something simple as the air rater. I will NEVER refer them or use them again. read more

This company is way over priced. I service all three of the units on my property to the best of my abilities but when its out of my scope I call the experts. Even after confirming to the tech that there was nothing wrong with the coil and he visually confirming that a 12'' section of 3/4 pipe on the low pressure side on the outside of the coil with bad brazed connections and oily fluid all over the pipe and most likely a tiny leak that was not easily seen even with a testing solution he used. He still insisted on inspecting the coil. He noted that if he needs to continue looking It would be an additional charge. Do not remember the exact number but was over $400. After a few pics, confirming the coils integrity and that the section of pipe was most likely the source of the leak, he called his office and quotes me $1800, my exact words " HELL NO ". I was still charged $89, what a waste of time and money. On a good note I contacted Season's Comforts, a representative came out today quoted me $450 for the exact same job. Inspection and pictures took less than 5 minutes, I was told tech would be out hear at 2:00 today to repair my unit. They also do free estimates read more

They answered the phone right away and answered all my questions to the best of their ability. There's no charge to come out and give an estimate which I thought was amazing as most others charge a fee to come out. This is my second review, and my third time using Aaron Services for a leak. Yes, our third leak...in different homes, in less than seven years. BUT with each leak, I had more peace of mind because of Aaron Services. I knew who to call right away. This time, it was a leaking water heater. We decided to kick the two old tanks we had to the curb and go tankless. Guess what? We got it all taken out and installed the same day! My husband is really handy, and knows a lot about home maintenance, but he let the professionals handle it this time around. He said they were courteous, efficient, and meticulous. Simply UNRELIABLE - initially gave a 4 hour window which I was ok with. After the 4th hour and not showing up, I called, they didn't call to find out about the delay. They advised plumber running 30 mins behind, fine. Almost waiting for an additional hour called back again, they said plumber was caught in traffic, ok. Plumber shows up and I simply said you running a little behind today?? He immediately began getting defensive for that little comment after explaining the comment was made simply due to arriving almost 2 hours beyond his window. His attitude was absolute crap so I simply told him his services weren't needed and closed the door. What a big fin' waste of my time! So fast forward. I have found that the septic pumping industry is nothing but a huge scam! No one would come to my house to empty my septic tank in the house I just purchased without an upsell to replace a baffle or fix a drainfield or something else. I have had several people tell me that they would not pump my septic tank, when they are in the business of pumping septic tanks. And the reason, is because I would not let them upsell me something that I did not want. I just wanted my septic tank pumped. Some of the scams I have seen personally.... If you get a manhole cover that would make it easier to get into your septic tank, it's normally 1495. But, if you do it today it's 895. I called another person it was 350. It seems like every single time someone goes into your septic tank your baffle is no good. Oh, and they are not allowed to pump your septic tank unless the baffle is perfect ...because it's the code! What a joke. It doesn't matter if you had a professional plumber there the day before looking at your septic system and then saying, that the baffle is good for another 10 years. And we have added Hydro cement to it and there is no reason for it to fail at a minimum of five years. I was told, that you need to pump from the manhole to get everything in the septic tank. I have seen somebody else come and say after spending $1000 moving pipes around to be able to get to the manhole cover ...we could pump from the 10 x 10 square openings at either end above the baffles. Everyone has a different story. Or are just lazy. I had even had someone call me an asshole on my property because I did not want them to do anything but pump the septic tank. I called and specifically asked them to do the one thing that they are listed to do ...pump the septic tank. Their ads on line all say septic tank pumping $145, $150, $150 plus a $29 service fee. I have seen them say for $400 everything included to just pump the septic tank. Or they say $150 for the first 6 to 8 inches of sludge for 1000 gallon tank. Or they say $400 straight to pump your tank. Or $150 to pump the tank plus a $50 environmental fee, plus $30 per extra hose attachment. All those ads on the Internet that say $150, are all come ons! The purpose is to get them onto your property where they can upsell you something crazy. Like a drainfield redo! For $15,000. I had one company tell me that they need $400 to pump it because they have $120,000 truck and they actually lose money coming down for the listed fee and therefore can't pump your septic tank for $150. So therefore they charge 400. One company made an appointment with me, never gave me a heads up call, and just never showed up after making me sit at my house from morning till night. All I got was, oh we are so sorry! What it was about was that they were not getting their up sell with me, and would not waste their time doing what they advertise. They weren't even courteous enough to tell me that they were not going to come even though they had an appointment. The septic tank industry is the sludge business of the entire world. I have never seen such fraudulent schemes practiced on such a regular basis and to so many unsuspecting people. So, after two weeks of getting the runaround to just have my septic tank pumped, it was nice that Aaron's Services sent Matt down to do just what I have been begging these companies to do for two weeks ....pump the septic tank for the fee listed. Mention my story on Yelp, when you call Aarons services for septic tank pumping. Honesty is a keystone. This is a messy business, and it's nice to find someone that will not try to upsell you something you don't need. Keep your eyes open at all times with the septic tank companies. You should be able to get your septic tank pumped whether it's cracked, or if there's a dead body in there if that's all you want. They're in the business of septic tank pumping ....shouldn't they pump your septic tank if that's what you call them for?! This was a grueling experience! I hope that Aaron's services continues in the vein that they showed me. read more

The faucet in our 1/2 bath in our 2 year old house stopped working. Started as a trickle of water, then no water at all. No other issues...just this one sink. We called Aaron Plumbing on Saturday and scheduled an appointment for Monday morning. The technician was on time and friendly, but his visit was completely useless. He was unable to identify the problem, much less fix it. He did not even look at the faucet. He said the problem could be one of a few things, but he didn't have any parts on his truck to fix any of the potential issues. He suggested a whole new faucet for $800+. He basically drove to our house, said he could not fix our issue, and charged us $59. We told the service advisor what the problem was when we called to make the appointment. Why wouldn't the technician come prepared to fix it? Complete waste of our time and money. UPDATE: We called another plumber to fix our faucet. When we told him the problem, he immediately said "it sounds like you have a clogged aerator." He then told us which tool to use (which we had, but didn't know its function) to fix it. So, this company was able to troubleshoot and advise over the phone, but Aaron's guy was not able to do that with an in-person service visit. read more

This is the second plumber in two days who has called in the middle of the window that they assured us that they would have a plumber come to repair our faucet. Pro Plumbers and now Aaron called two hours after they assured us that they would be here between 12 and 4 and cancelled today. Can we come tomorrow? The answer seems to be that they determine first come first serve based on a toilet flushing. So lesson learned, tell them that your toilet is not flushing. read more

We have used Aaron plumbing before. There work was good so we called them again. We needed two faucets repaired, one on the bathroom sink and one on the tub. The job consists of removing the faucets, removing and replacing the cartridges and reinstalling the faucet handles. I even provided the plumber with the part numbers and a complete explosion diagram from Moen. There is no "under sink" type work needed. I actually repaired the sink handle once myself. The cost should be about $20 for the parts and it should take about a half hour for a professional. Even at a full hour and more for the parts it wouldn't cost more than $40 or take more than 1 hour. The estimate was $715!! For that outrage I still had to pay the $59 service fee. They waive the fee if you have work done. Now I can understand why. Several hours after writing this review I received a call from Aaron during which they agreed that the estimate I was given was too high. After further review they revised the quote to the mid $400's. They also voluntarily agreed to refund the $59 service fee. I appreciated their effort to provide good customer service. Unfortunately, we still disagree on what is an appropriate fee for the parts and labor for this fairly minor repair. See also the review by Jonathan C. This review is based on pricing only and not service quality. I needed to have a toilet isolation valve replaced as it was leaking. The plumber arrived on time and provided a detailed estimate for work as follows: - Drain down system $400 (turn off supply valve and open faucet, this price is ridiculous) - Replace isolation valve $200 I wanted to use Aaron Services but could not afford their pricing. I repaired myself as follows: drain system 30 minutes of waiting, replaced valve at a cost of $8 and 15 minutes for installation. Total parts cost was $8 and time involved was 1 hour. Aaron Services wanted to charge $600 which is robbery. If cost is not an issue then Aaron Services may be good for you. read more

First time I've needed a plumber. I started by getting three quotes from different vendors. After seeing all three offers, Aaron Services was In the middle and was reasonable for what I needed. My tech's name was Gabe. He was very professional, kind to my pets, and very straight forward about my issues. He was honest and transparent about all of my options. He never suggested something extra, or offered any "additional needs". He listened to me looked everything over and addressed the issue. Overall, very easy to work with, trust worthy, and he didn't waste any time while he worked. His work appears well done and clean. These guys know what they're doing but you definitley pay for it and their big company vans. I had three tasks done in 1 hour and 45 minute: install a disposal, fix the ptrap and hook up the gas line to the stove. Total bill $531 for labor alone... ridiculous for the amount of time the guy was out here.... We recently moved to the area and found Aaron Plumbing on Yelp. After calling around to a few places, we decided to give them a try and Rob Clutter came out to do the inspection on our needs. Hands down, Rob is the best plumber we have ever met. He was super thorough, answered all of our questions, fast, clean and so very, very nice. He gave me a call to discuss the details, and walked my wife (at home) though all the work he did. Before he left, he showed her some tips for better maintenance on some odd things that we would have never known to even ask about. Really happy with my service. I wasn't planning on calling a plumber yesterday but when I went to clean up from breakfast, the garbage disposal quit on me. (Monday, we all struggle I guess). My friend recommended aaron plumbing so I gave them a try. When I called, the woman I spoke with was able to fit me in the same day (thank goodness. can't The guy was on time and very professional. Because I felt comfortable with him, I had him fix a toilet that we had been neglecting for a while too. The whole visit took about an hour or so and when he left I had two plumbing headaches checked off my list. I felt like the charges were fair, signed up for the club membership so I got a discount. I spent countless hours looking for a septic pumping service provider that wouldn't try to rip me off and after reviewing their BBB score (A+) and numerous 5 star reviews I decided to give them a shot. BOY DID I MAKE THE RIGHT DECISION! I had no idea where my septic tank cover was located and they found it in less than 5 minutes. They dug it out, removed the cover, then told me that everything looked good and that pumping would just be a waste of money. I then asked them if there's ANYTHING I need to do while the cover is out. They said I "could" have the filter cleaned (didn't make me or tell me I had to), I happily obliged.
