If a machine is being repaired, there's usually a second machine to use. It's not as clean as other gyms but that is not solely the gym's responsibility. The cleaning stations commonly need to be replenished but there's also nearly cleaning stations you can resort to. Plus you get extra steps, win? At times it may be too hot but I see the benefit of a heated gym- it's not always optimal during the summer. For the convenience and practicality of a gym, it meets the standards. Nothing fancy but nothing lacking. They could use a better range of fitness classes. The only classic ever see is Zumba and cycling. You can't beat the amenities for the price!

Be VERY cautious before signing up for personal training here…read more The initial "free session" was mostly a high-pressure sales process, which in hindsight should have been a red flag. Some aspects of the program also didn't match how they were presented during sign-up (things like guidance around goals, communication, and support outside of sessions). I do want to say that my trainer herself was kind and genuinely good during the sessions I had with her. I don't think the issue is the individual trainers as much as the structure of the program. That said, I did run into a couple of scheduling issues where I showed up for confirmed appointments that had been reassigned, and communication overall was inconsistent. I also would have appreciated more proactive follow-up--I needed to cancel my last session in December, life has been crazy, it's now Mid April and I never heard from anyone again--though I acknowledge I could have reached out as well. *****The biggest issue, however, has been the cancellation process.***** The contract requires written notice through a specific support email, and in practice, that process has been slow and difficult to navigate. It took multiple attempts to get clear direction, and communication was limited to being routed back to the same support channel without meaningful follow-through. Based on my experience and similar complaints from other customers, this appears to be a pattern. This creates a situation where it's easy to sign up, but MUCH harder than expected to cancel. I would strongly encourage anyone considering signing up to carefully review the cancellation terms and be prepared for a potentially frustrating process if you decide to end the program.

Very nice and clean facility. Fairly large, so you can almost always find an open cage. Front desk…read morestaff is always extremely nice. Cons - bring your wallet. $40 for a thirty minute lesson seems extreme. Our last lesson was with the facility manager, and no joke, he was on his phone for the majority of my niece's lesson. We were there on time, but our lesson started five minutes late as he was out in the main area talking with people. During our 25 minute lesson, he took two phone calls and checked his texts 7-8 times. So basically every 3-4 minutes he was on his phone. For $40 you think he could give us full attention for 30 minutes. Twice he said "good job" to my niece when she completed the action she was practicing - when he was looking at his phone and not even watching what she was doing. We had another lesson with a different instructor and he was super good. Focused on my niece the entire time. Actually gave her 45 minutes as when our lesson was up, he said he didn't have any more for the day, so he gave her some extra attention. A-plus for that due. Great facility. Some really great and friendly staff. And some great instructors. But if you are going to charge $40 for a thirty minute lesson, you should give that student a full 30 minute lesson.

This is one of my top three fav mud runs I've ever participated in!…read more Warrior Dash 2015 the weather was NOT kind but it made it all the more fun! It was POURING all night and all morning making the mud run course super sloppy and super fun (more on that in a minute). The rain also caused a huge mess (pardon the pun) with parking. Cars were getting stuck in the mud, traffic was backed up for miles. But Warrior Dash handled it all like pros! Constant twitter/email/facebook updates were sent out keeping racers in the know. They also allowed those who were late because of said issues to run in other corrals, all that coming together to show a team that knew how to handle adversity and keep their runners happy in spite of it all. The obstacles were absolutely a blast! Crawling, climbing, sliding, swimming they threw everything at us and it made for all the better and more challenging a course. Weather conditions insured we were super duper dirty n trashed when we finished, but hey-it's a mud run, you should have known what you signed up for! I could go on and on about how much I enjoyed this race but I think the biggest compliment I could say to back all this up is I am registered to run their 2016 race. See ya next weekend!

Sometimes running a 5K or more can get boring. Why not mix it up some? This reminded me of a mix…read moreof cross country trail running, with obstacles mixed in along the way. I liked that it was off road, and didn't really know what to expect. The trail goes up and down and all around. It's definitely not flat, and has some pretty good downhill and uphill spurts. The obstacles were not as scary as I had built up in my head. They were doable, and people of all sizes and different fitness levels were completing them. The obstacles have you climbing walls, crawling through mud, jumping fire, swimming out to rafts, and going down a large water slide. The number one thing I can guarantee is that you will get dirty. I was the dirtiest I have ever been in my life. They have multiple waves of runners going throughout the day, as to help keep the track from getting congested. I jogged and ran the majority of the trail. Most people seemed to be walking it. It does get hard to run in wet, muddy shoes, which did result in some blisters. But an Epsom salt bath afterwards helped clear that up in a couple of days. The music from the base camp is loud and is nice to hear along the track as you are running from obstacle to obstacle. The wait for the shower at the end is as long as it took to complete the run. I wish they chipped you though and told you your finishing time. That is the one thing I missed. They had a great bag drop off, and changing area. It's nice that they have the shirt and hat pick up for the end so you don't have to carry it with you. Price of the run also includes a free beer if you feel like it. There was plenty of well organized parking, and they allowed dogs in the waiting area. Overall a fun laid back event. People were helping each other and were not pushy or aggressive.
