We stopped for the night and I I found KD on yelp. I gave him a call that evening and he showed up the next morning at the hotel. Very very nice man! I had thought we maybe got some bad gas but after running a diagnostic turns out it was bad spark plugs and a coil that had gone bad. He was able to quickly get the parts delivered and changed in no time. He is amazing knowledgeable very personable and really fair man. His rates are much better than if I had had to take and leave my care at a brick and motor garage and wait on them to get around to my car. Not thrilled with my experience. I requested a receipt and OBD scan report through Facebook and…read morenever received one. I had him come out for a pre‑inspection and to fix a coolant leak on a vehicle I was test‑driving. The repair was simple, but I was charged $180 for what was billed as two hours of work. I already knew about the coolant leak and had tried to plan ahead, but the part I ordered was incorrect. He went to O'Reilly to get the right one, which I appreciated. After the repair, I asked him to test‑drive the van to confirm it was in good working order. He said he drove about 80 mph in Beckley and that it seemed fine, though he did mention a whining noise. He stated it was definitely not the transmission or pump, even though three OBD codes pointed toward transmission‑related issues. My mechanic immediately recognized the noise as a classic sign of a failing transmission -- something any experienced mechanic should have caught, especially with multiple codes indicating a problem. Long story short, the transmission is completely shot. I genuinely wonder how hard the van was driven during that 80 mph test run. Overall, not happy with the experience and do not recommend.

They got me in, were exceptionally nice and walked me step by step as to what they needed to do. After dealing with a major dealer in hopes they could get me back on the road, these guys took up the slack where others dropped. I cannot thank them enough for getting me in, overnighting a part and able to get me back on the road within a couple of days. It wasn't on my agenda to spend three nights in two different hotels and to have the expense of the hotel but on my truck as well, but the folks at Aamco were top notch. I am now getting ready to head home and decompress after an eventful four days, and I owe my remaining sanity to Mark and Chris at Aamco. Thanks, guys--much appreciative of your work and patience.

This was the case when my car was handling badly and a friend told me was told it was my transmission. I attempted to check the fluid myself, but couldn't find the stick to check it. I was told to check with AA Transmission. I brought my car in and asked them to just check it out and let me know what was wrong. A few hours later I got a call saying my car was ready. I get a ride back to the center and ask what the cost would be. They heard me tell them I couldn't find the "stick thing", and that I had no idea what was wrong. They very easily could've taken me for a lot of money. Instead, they were honest and told me it only needed a little bit of fluid. My final cost - the $3 in cash I had in my pocket. I would definitely recommend them to anyone. Honesty, integrity, and friendly service goes a long way these days.

Turley's Transmission was the ONLY place that would, not only bring us in on short notice but, also considered our accommodation situation...we were living in it! Danny is a man of integrity, honesty, and compassion. He showed us broken parts and explained everything to us step by step. He had us ready to go in a few days. We appreciated Danny, Darrell, and the local guys so much that we decided to stay a few more days after that! We were actually sad to be leaving. Our RV runs perfectly but most importantly, we've met family. Don't y'all worry we will be back!!!!
