Do not have them do any mechanical work. I have documented proof they charged me for repairs, but did not do them. When called on, they lied (assuming I knew nothing about cars) and insisted they redid the repairs. I was still charged for repairs which they did not do. read more

I just had my truck aligned there about a year ago along with a tire balance. They informed me that the alignment is "of course +/- 2°". I agreed because that's as close as the camber alignment generally gets. Well I just had an alignment again along with some other work being done due to alignment being out for so long. I just found out that C. Adam Toney had a regular bolt and regular washers in the lower control arms. One of the washers was cut to fit in against the control arm. I also found out that they couldn't be removed due to completely seizing into the control arms. None if this was brought to my attention. read more

Went here about a year and a half ago. Went for a full alignment on my vehicle. Asked beforehand if they guaranteed their alignments. And I was reassured that they do. Great. Get the alignment done, was shown by the mechanic how and where it was out of alignment, and where it was corrected. Awesome! Went on an out of town trip, approximately 2 weeks later, and noticed my steering wheel wasn't straight when driving straight. Got out and also noticed my brand new tires that I also had out on during the appointment for the alignment, were beginning to wear unevenly. Frustrated by this, I went back to C Adam Tony of Harper Rd as soon as I returned from my out of town trip. Explained the issue to them. They went ahead and realigned it for me. Then, they proceeded to charge me for the alignment. This is where it got frustrating because me and one of the guys running the registers had a conversation prior to then aligning the tires. He understood and said that they would take care of it. So once they returned my keys to me, it turned into a whole confusing and frustrating debate. There was one of the guys at the registers stating that they don't guarantee their alignments, when they had already explained to me during the first alignment that they DO guarantee them. Eventually they agreed not to charge for the work, but they stated they would not cover the charge again. And had a disrespectful attitude about it the whole time. I will never go there again, nor would I recommend anyone to trust their auto work to this place! read more

We experienced a cut tire on I64 while heading home. We pulled off of interstate and happened upon this business. As busy as they were, they took a look at the tire and said it couldn't be patched. They recommended replacing the tire. We had to wait our turn, but they were helpful and very professional and got us back on the road. I highly recommend! read more

These guys are great! I had a washboard vibration while traveling through Beckley on 77. The shop was swamped they said it would be 4 hours to see my Yukon. After a couple hours they test drove my truck and found out it was a broken tire belt. They could have said it was anything, I was at their mercy. During our trip south for the winter, a significant vibration started to happen as I drove down the road. I had put four new Michelin tires. As we were coming down 19 the car started to vibrate as though a wheel was out of balance. I also noticed that the low tire pressure light flickered. I pulled over and looked at the tires and all seemed to be ok. After driving to YB hotel, I took the car to Tire Pros. They checked the tire pressure and all was good. I left feeling a bit better. On the way back to the hotel I could hear a clunk when I drove slowly. I want back to Tire Pro and had them listed to the noise. They set up,to have me come in Saturday morning to check things out. It was not long before they found that the sensor had come loose and was flopping around inside the tire. Hence the vibration. They were able to get a new sensor and belt installed and by 10AM I was back on the road again with no vibration. Great service. read more

My husband and I were traveling from NC to Ohio today and had and alert that we had low tire pressure. We found the first exit and saw that we had a tire with a nail or something stuck in it. When we went to they're shop because of a flat tire they fixed it in no time. But my companion left his keys in the truck and we were unable to open it without them in the ignition. The mechanic was super duper helpful and took apart our very complicated side door to open the trunk for us and didn't even ask for any composition in the end. Had a flat tire on a rental RV on a Saturday afternoon. They were busy but promised to have a look in about an hour. Twenty minutes later a mechanic brought portable tools into the lot (the RV was too big for their lift) and in 30 minutes he had the tire patched and back on the beast. I don't write a lot of reviews, but these guys are absolutely solid. We ran into some road debris while traveling across the country late in the evening. Although they were booked solid (the next morning) and people were calling and lining up at the door, they worked us in and got us on the road again. When you are on a long trip with young children it sure is nice to find a friendly place with expedient service. Bought tires here back in about February and all the tread in the middle of the two tires bought there is GONE(because they put to much air pressure in the tires), went today to get new ones because we had a 1yr warranty and they said it wasn't their fault and "Bluntly they weren't replacing the tires". I had a flat tire this morning, it was rainy and nasty. Never a good way to start the day. I got the flat changed but wanted to quickly get my tire repaired or a new one. We always go to C Adam Toneys for tires. I pull in and the parking lot is full. As usual. As soon as I walk in a red headed (I wish I would've gotten his name) gentleman promptly asked what he could do. I explained my situation. He went out and examined my flat. Told me you can't replace one tire on an all wheel drive vehicle, they all had to be replaced. We aren't mechanical people so it was depressing news! He told me not to worry he would try and find the leak and repair it if he could. Mind you they were crazy busy. Within 30 minutes he showed me the small piece of metal that had caused my stressful morning and informed me the tire was repaired and I was good to go!! We were traveling from NC to Wheeling, WV for a funeral when we starting having some engine trouble. It was a Thursday night close to closing time when we pulled into Toney Tire Pros but Charlie and his staff raised our car to give it an oil change to see if that would help our engine. Even though we ended up leaving our car at the local Hyundai dealership to replace the engine, my wife and I couldn't have been more grateful for the professionalism and help this crew provided by staying close to 45 minutes after closing. read more
