I was visiting a friend and asked her about hers. She said I have to get mine done, come with me. We arrived at Rio nails rather late with her 2 daughters in tow plus the baby. I asked for artificial nails and she sat me down and proceeded to work. There was a rather large gap between what she added and my cuticle. She claimed she could not go closer. I have had my nails done since the 80's. I have never had an issue like this. The woman had a huge attitude also. As I suspected, she deliberately shorted the nails so I would return sooner. In the many years I have had my nails done, I have had them last 6 weeks, usually 8 before a redo. My nails just do not grow. Here it is 3 weeks, and these are lifting. She missed a lot of the steps through the pedi process, she didn't file my nails only cut them and VERY SHORT and uneven, she didn't file the bottom of my feet or use the purple rock thing that they use. Might I add that there was absolutely no way that the tech could have assumed that I was getting my hair done at the salon based on the style that my hair is in. The Salon tech would not have been able to do anything for me. If that was an assumption then she could have asked if I was being helped. I sat one inch from her door.
