Then someone returned my call and told me same day was possible and it would be X amount of money. Long story short someone was there that day to look at our dryer. We paid a service fee and then we paid another time for the item to be fixed. I was a little confused because I thought it would be taken off the total but I don't know. My husband and I purchased a GE range from Home Depot back in June. We learned at that time that it needed to be converted from natural gas to liquid propane and Home Depot told us they do not provide this service. I researched dozens of sites, plumbing companies and appliance specialist companies, and decided to try JUSTIN FROST from PRECISION APPLIANCE SERVICES. He came out 4 times during the month of July to install the conversion kit, but after his last visit, the burners were not burning correctly. I knew something wasn't right so Justin said he would call GE and get back to me. JUSTIN FROST NEVER RESPONDED so I called GE directly and they sent an appliance repair specialist to us. Unfortunately because someone else had already worked on it, they were not able to help us. They could not spend the time trying to figure out what JUSTIN FROST did wrong and then try to fix it. Even though the GE specialist was not able to help us, he did tell me what was wrong with the installation of the kit: (1) the orifices were installed on the wrong burners so some burn too hot and on other burners the flame does not change at all, even after turning the knob from high to low; (2) it takes 30 seconds+ plus for the burners to finally ignite, which is a safety hazard as gas is constantly leaking while trying to ignite, (3) the screws behind the knobs were all stripped. I called JUSTIN FROST to discuss the situation and he seemed very friendly at first and even scheduled an appointment to come back out to fix the conversion kit. Guess what? JUSTIN FROST never showed up! He never responded to any of my calls or texts and I learned that he blocked my number. We ended up with a ruined range that could potentially be leaking gas and no one to fix it. Needless to say, I have never been so disappointed with someone you trust in your home who leads you on telling you he can perform a service he obviously is not capable of. I strongly do NOT RECOMMEND JUSTIN FROST at PRECISION APPLIANCE SERVICES!! I called another appliance company and they told me that once the kit is installed incorrectly, it cannot be fixed and my only option is to buy another new range, which we did.

He didn't take out one tool or do anything at all. After just a few minutes he said he thought I needed a new transmission (the machine doesn't have a transmission). He said he needed to do some research to see if it was cheaper to buy a new machine or to make the repair. I haven't heard from him since. I don't mind paying a trip charge but isn't it fair to expect some attempt at repair or plan of action in exchange? Why would anyone pay to have someone just come and look but not offer a service? This company installed a furnace in my house right before I bought it. The condensation caused a problem in the furnace which stopped up my whole system. I called the guy about it and he was very rude. I was confused and said the condensation was from the AC and he was very rude about it not being his problem even though he didn't install the piece just sitting inside the furnace. Now I've had another company leave a message for me letting him know that it's not from the AC, but the furnace vent, because he will not answer my phone call. Yes I gave him some choice words. He owes me $370 but I doubt he'll be a gentleman as he was a jerk the moment he answered the phone. I would not recommend this guy for anything. Horrible person.
