You guys have GOT to stop precooking your bacon and letting it sit for hours at your prep station. Any time I order anything with bacon on it it tastes like the air from the store, and soap/musty washcloth!!! I've said this before months ago on Google, I've called the restaurant, and STILL it's happening. I haven't gotten a good burrito from here for over 6 months. Absolutely delicious meal. I love birria and this hit the spot. The quesadilla was very large. I loved the crispy edges and amount of onions & cilantro inside. There was plenty of birria in it and the consomé was perfectly spiced. I really enjoyed this! As far as service, it was quick and the staff were friendly. I just got a Pollo Asada chicken burrito from there and I kept saying it taste like soap or something "different", thought I was just not used to the guacamole inside of my burrito. Normally, I get it on the side in a cup. But no, I was correct. I am getting ready to floss my teeth because I have not ate beef or pork in 15 years but I am 100% sure, the aftertaste that I have in my mouth is PORK! Now, I feel sick.... I was getting ready to call the restaurant and tell them that it's obvious that they are putting pork in their chicken, probably scraps or something and then I saw the reviews. I love this place and normally it's a 5 star experience, but the app is a nightmare every time I order through it. It glitches, doesn't give accurate hours and sometimes cancels my orders. Oh, and when I try to order delivery, it will glitch back up pick up and still ask me to tip. Next time I order anywhere, it won't be with an app that can't even get delivery vs carry out right. Interesting... this place has a lot of potential, good deals on their personal app/site and it's great they're open late! My first time ever visiting the speaker staff seemed really mad at me for some reason, I dunno why, it wasn't really early or anything, it was dinner time with no one else in line. I said "hello"... waited 10 secs "hello"...waited another 30sec... "hi, are you open?" waited a minute, "hello, excuse me...are you still open? I'm new here so not sure what to do, is this the ordering speaker?," more silence so I sat there cause they had my order. It took about 6 minutes straight for him to reply back to me, I explained I was new to the restaurant while being super polite and cheery, even after saying "thank you" lots... He still had an attitude but despite that I gave them another chance. The first few times I went the food was hot, good and correct, however this most recent time was subpar. I guess you better hope you get you get a good staff member when you order. The taco was cold with an old dry shell, it almost tasted burnt but had no heat to it. The meat was crispy crunchy, lukewarm and old. Kinda like when you burn bits at the bottom of the pan and it sits out. Although it was to-go order they did not provide any napkins or utensils for the rice... Odd. Luckily I keep napkins on hand and I had a single knife to use to scoop the rice. Turns out I'm more prepared than an entire restaurant apparently. I thought about going back to get it, but by then there was people in line, the food was already cold and I had a long drive ahead of me so I just sucked it up. In addition, I realize restaurants will upcharge on food apps cause the app takes a cut, but I'm used to seeing the same price or maybe .50c...75c...a dollar more, but NO, the food is THREE dollars more on the off brand app. Okay guys...really? C'mon. I mean, is that difference worth people ordering less? Not sure. Oh, and dear Tara who is replying to everyone's comments without providing any solutions for customers... I ask you this, if you keep hearing the same complaints and keep "passing it onto the team," surely by now...months later, they would have gotten the message to not serve burned old food? It's not like they're gonna close in a hour and they just give you what you get, it's open 24hrs... you're gonna make new food constantly. Perhaps, have a meeting with management or remove them if they can't improve after 6 months of the same complaints? I wouldn't want to think that mng is advising staff to NOT make fresh food and to NOT heat it. I also suggest BOGOS, 10% off or $5 credit to loyal customers who have had subpar experiences. Food was really good. I normally prefer to eat in and not carry out but we did actually do a pick up order and it was still all very fresh and flavorful when we got it home and ate. I do wish the menu descriptions online were more accurate - I have an onion allergy and I know how do you eat Mexican with an onion allergy - very carefully . I read through the descriptions and thought what I ordered was safe but when I opened my tacos they were filled with onions (not mentioned in the description). I was able to pick them out but it still would have been nice if I could have just said "no onions" when I ordered. read more

Ordered online, 3 breakfast burritos with the notion of scoring a free taco for ordering online, advised by the drive through dude (who handed me the order at the window). Pull up to the drive through stating my concern about not receiving a voucher code for the free taco. So he instructs me to drive to the window and confirms that we did speak over the tele. At the window I reiterated that ordering online would score me a free taco - as instructed by him - bc free tastes so much better. He agreed with me but did not give me the free taco. I came to AZ for work and heard about this place. I thought i'd give it a try. I got there around 8:15 today and ordered a Breakfast Burrito. It was amazing. someone named Bree helped me at the window. I told her how it was my first time trying this place and she gave me recommendations on what to get. She was very kind, helpful, and super funny. I like that she took the extra mile to help me with the menu. If you are in the area I recommend trying it especially for the service. I wish the carne asada had more flavor. I just had to lead with that because the carne asada fries could have been great. They were ok. The carne asada fries had all of the elements of a great meal. Guacamole, sour cream, cheese, but the complete lack of flavor in the meat really drags the whole dish down. I also tried the carne asada torta. The staff were very friendly and when we picked up the food they were all smiling and made us feel at home. We decided to eat there and the hostess checked on us frequently. I know this location gets a lot of bad comments but I think they are out dated and harsh. We've tried the food twice now and found it to be delicious and plentiful for the price. We got our food delivered fairly quickly. I think a possible cook change may have occurred but either way we are happy with the adjustments and the food is delicious. I just wanna say the only things I've had were the bean and cheese burrito and the chicken fries, ESPECIALLY, the chicken fries. Every single time I order chicken fries it's always steaming hot and fresh, and the fries always have an amazing crunch. I always get it when I have money and when I'm hungry, it's one of my most favorite meals!! I bet when my name pops up for delivery or pickup it's def not a surprise LOL. Hmm what happened to my review. It's suddenly missing. Ordered Uber eats and it took over 2.5 hours to get my food. Management reached out to me and after they contacted Uber they emailed me, so I have it in writing, and said it was their fault. Food arrived cold. It was not good at all. I ordered Carne Asada tacos, rice and beans. Meat had no flavor, rice was bland, the beans were fine. Food cost about 13.00, total Uber bill with tip was 26.00. Their AMAZING solution was to offer a 10.00 gift card to go back and try their slop. 3.00 less than my actual meal cost. I laughed and told them they can keep their 1 star review and deleted the gift card. Based on all of the other reviews about time management and poor food quality that have been posted over the last year, things aren't changing. Don't waste your time and money at this place. We live in AZ, good, fast Mexican food isn't hard to come by.... except at this place. Edit. My fault, I did place it on Google. Glad I made a mistake and posted on Yelp too. I didn't recieve any voicemails from the manager though, but I'll give you the benefit of the doubt there since service in Maricopa can be spotty. But lets be real, you contacted Uber on YOUR behalf, not mine, and confirmed your restaurant was the issue, not Uber. The fact remains that I was offered 10.00 to make up for a meal that cost 13.00 before Uber fees. That's HORRIBLE customer service.
