Amazing Italian bakery with great staff! I love this place. High quality pastries, cookies, bread, cakes.

This pastry shop has a large selection of pastries, breads, and cakes. The staffs are friendly and patient. I got a mini cannoli and it was fresh and tasty.

I love this bakery, every time I order something from here it's delicious. I recently ordered a cake (Tiramisu) for a birthday celebration and the staff accommodated mẹ by customizing it. They have a large variety of pastries. Always friendly service.

Even before you interact with the friendly help, and before you taste the delicious baked goods and pastries, you know this bakery is a winner. Because of the smell that hits you as soon as you enter. That beautiful bakery fragrance that you notice in a good bakery.

Rimini Pastry Shop has amazing pastries! I bought a few and they were fresh, delicious, and beautifully made. The shop has a cozy vibe and the service was super friendly.

The pastry was so fresh and flaky you could roll each layer off one by one. The inside was soft, moist and chewy. This is how a sfogliatella should be cooked. I will buy this again and again. The chewy nut cookie was okay but couldn't compare to the other pastry.

We went last minute to get a cake and got marble cheesecake with fresh fruit on top that was glazed. The fruit balanced the sweetness of the cheesecake beautifully. Service was great and they were able to personalize for me.

Amazing pastries! every now and then I walk in to try something new and this pumpkin tart really hit the spot the other day. I was wanted to buy a whole pie but I couldn't possibly eat all that myself so this was perfectly sized. Looking forward to buying the pumpkin and coconut custard pies for thanksgiving when I can share with my family. Thanks Rimini

The pastries here are 3.5. It's okay. Doesn't taste high quality but it does the job. I brought cakes from here and it just taste basic. Nothing extraordinary. The napoleon is slightly flakey with berries mixed with cream. It was okay. The tiramisu had a strong coffee taste and it was my favorite from here. Tre leche is descent here. Service is okay and there's usually a lot of people here.

One of my favorite local bakeries in Brooklyn. Best value and variety here... Everything tastes good and the service is pretty efficient. Nevermind the long lines at times - well worth the wait and don't fret, it tends to move quickly. There are several staffers on hand and each person gets their own staffer designated from beginning of the purchase to the end. As long as you're on the line, you'll be served. Cake prices start at $16+ and many come in as many as 3-4 sizes so do ask if you need something in a different size. There's two cake fridges for the usual cakes and a specialty fridge for the more custom or seasonal cakes. Besides that, tons of fresh bread, cookies by the pound and other desserts like sugar cookies, rainbow cake, chocolates and individual portions of their desserts. Think Fererro Rocher cake, Red Velvet, Cheesecakes, and seasonal fruit tarts. Pignoli cookies, black and white, linzer tarts and brownies. Just tons to choose from. And again, best value!! Gifts on hand for those in a rush and want something already prepared. Custom cakes can be ordered but give two days or more notice. And their hours are very good, 7am-7pm most days. Great Italian bakery overall.

I absolutely love this place. They seriously have some of the best pastry that I've have thus far. It's not too sweet, nice and creamy and reasonable priced. Yay! I initially came here for their apple crumb cake and when I arrived I saw myself eyeing other desserts and so I got their strawberry shortcake cream puff and a half pounds of chocolate raspberry filled buttered cookies. Everything was sooooo good. It was not too sweet but yes it tasted fresh and perfectly chilled. As for the staff they are friendly and patience as they wait for their customers to decide. This bakery is also very clean and organized. I definitely like this place and have been coming back since.

Ask the Community - Rimini Pastry Shop

Do they have candles for cakes?

I am not sure but there is a 99 cents store on the same block to buy some if they don't have any.

So there is an amazing bread my father always orders from here that has ham cubes and cheese inside of it. What is it called?

Are you speaking about their "prosciutto bread"

Does anyone know if they have most of their pastries (rainbow cookies & red velvet) right now?

They do. They are fully stocked at the moment.

Do they offer lattes / coffee? Also how is it?

Is today open just want to know can someone tell me?

    Yes

The mango is a standout, and the brownies are honestly next-level--warm, decadent, and just a step away from a perfect lava cake. They've also got amazing cakes (including a fantastic carrot cake) and a great selection of treats that keep you coming back. What really makes this place special, though, is the owner, Peter. He's always welcoming, professional, and genuinely kind. He greets customers with a smile, takes the time to say hello, and creates an atmosphere that feels both personal and inviting. The staff deserves just as much praise--every single one of them is amazing: professional, friendly, funny, and kind. I've known many of them over time, and they consistently go above and beyond. Today, one of the staff members was incredibly sweet--she even brought my order out to me while I was sitting in my car. That kind of service is rare and really shows how much they care. The shop itself is spotless--seriously clean, top to bottom--and there's even a cozy outdoor seating area where you can sit and enjoy your coffee or dessert. Anyway, I was in Brooklyn with my brother to see a concert and had just finished dinner. We had some time before doors opened so we decided to grab a little ice cream before heading over to the venue. Farmacy was steps away - it all seemed like it was meant to be, so off we went. Farmacy aims to capture the nostalgia of an old fashioned soda shop and ice cream parlor. Immediately upon walking in we were greeted by aesthetics - the tile, fixtures, and decor totally give off that vibe. There are a few tables to sit as well as a large bar area with stools; I also noticed a few tables set up outside as well. The traffic flow is set up so that you order first and then have it served to you after sitting. Browsing the menu, I noticed they have a selection of ice cream scoops, shakes, egg creams, specialty sodas, hot chocolates, and a large variety of sundae creations. Since we were there for ice cream, we decided to split a sundae -specifically the Sir Twix-a-Lot. This was chunks for shortcake tossed in caramel and topped with vanilla ice cream that was coated in a chocolate shell. Overall I thought the sundae was solid - but the combinations of textures weren't my favorite to be honest, mostly with how the shortcake played with the ice cream. It wasn't bad though - the flavors definitely gave the Twix aesthetic. My only other issue with the dish was that because chocolate shell was used, any residue at the bottom was hard so you have to chisel it if you want to savor any last spoonfuls; I guess that comes with the territory. Service was good - everyone was friendly. It wasn't too busy when we were there so we had our selection of seats and our ice cream was ready pretty quickly. Overall, I'm glad I finally tried Brooklyn Farmacy out - they have a large selection so I would definitely return when I'm in the area again.

Seating space (not a lot of it, so I imagine it can get packed on busy times) and bathrooms on premises. Hot chocolate was delicious. We got the spiced dark chocolate and the spices were overwhelming. Get dark chocolate without spices. The extra dollar for marshmallow made the chocolate even sweeter, so it was overwhelming and I wouldn't recommend. But. The extra dollar for whipped cream would be nice because the their homemade whipped cream isn't sweet, so it will just thicken up the drink and give you that extra texture oooomph that you'll appreciate. Torino cafe is basically coffee added to any hot chocolate of your choice. That was tasty with dark chocolate. You definitely tasted the coffee and it was less thick than regular hot chocolate (which was on a thinner, sippier side). You can sample ice cream to make your selection. It's all very sweet, so if you're looking for a less sweet option go with Belgian dark chocolate flavor. For a $18 banana split you get three scoops of ice cream and a caramelized banana. Not a big portion for such hefty price. The tiny addition of toppings didn't make this banana split come together into a cohesive dish. Would get something else next time. Definitely not a good deal. Young lovely girls at the cashier were super friendly and accommodating. The not so young gentleman with a mustache who brought our order to the table was very dismissive and rude when we asked him to please bring us a correct order (he carried multiple orders and was harried to be done delivering them and barked something incoherent at us when we asked for help).

Staff was super friendly and generous with samples, which I appreciated since some of the flavors are definitely outside the usual ice cream comfort zone. They also sell pints to take home. Flavor-wise, I tried the masala chai, black cherry cardamom, and the saffron soft serve. The saffron soft serve reminded me of the leftover milk from ras malai turned into soft serve, which was interesting and nostalgic. The masala chai and cherry cardamom were more subtle than I hoped. Some tasted unique upfront but left a slightly weird aftertaste that kind of lingered. I respect what they're trying to do and can see why people love it, especially if you're easing into more globally inspired desserts, but for the price, I wanted stronger flavor payoff and a cleaner finish. TLDR: Unique global inspired ice cream flavors, friendly staff, and free samples, but some flavors felt muted and had an odd aftertaste. Worth trying once if you're curious, but expensive for what it is.
