I've had Rinaldi for my oil delivery, cleaning my furnace and now fixing my furnace. Customer service is the best. When i call always willing to help and very pleasant. i can't remember his name he was from the Dayton area but he was wonderful and did a great job. Last night my furnace stopped no heat. I called Rinaldi at 7:15 Ron was here around 9:15 and gone before 10. He was very helpful and informative. He knew what it was right away and fixed it. I signed up with this company at the start of the winter hoping to have an established account with a company to make service and deliveries easier. I scheduled an estimate and a cleaning in November and they cxld the estimate twice and never called me back to reschedule the 3rd time and the cleaning they came and cancelled due to not allowing enough time to finish it, they rescheduled it last minute. Last night I called for emergency service - and they have no tech available. Today, I called to get added on for a delivery and they could not accommodate that until Monday. It's going to be below zero and snowing all weekend. At that point, I cancelled my account. I don't see a reason to have one if they can't do anything for me as a customer when I need it. I'm not sure how they service customers in Southern Maine; as I live in Lewiston. However, it's clear to me they don't really want to service up here and should just stop offering it. read more

The employees of Rinaldi always come through. The best service they added was their own tech personnel. Tonight we called at 5:45 for a service call, our tech was here by 6 and the furnace was back up and running before 6:45. It's so nice to know we can always count on Rinaldi for our heating needs!!! read more

I have been a Rinaldi Customer for 3 seasons now and I couldn't be happier with them. They deliver #2 Heating Oil and Kerosene. They install, maintain & repair whatever you need to keep you warm or cool depending on the season. Rinaldi Oil has never not shown up when promised. Not once. Dependability should be something you can count on and they have proven their dependability time and again. If they have a price drop, they email you letting you know its a good time to buy. I've never had another oil company do that. How cool is that? I always strive to support local businesses and I was so happy to help Rinaldi with their Toy Drive this year to benefit the Barbara Bush Children's Hospital. They met their goal with the help of others in the community. Giving back locally is another asset I love about them. Everyone at Rinaldi is always pleasant whether its the driver who delivers your oil in the middle of a messy ice/snow storm, or the people on the other end of the phone. You feel as if you're part of a family. Busy schedule? No problem. You can order fuel 24 hrs. a day using their convenient on-line order form and they will call you (at a convenient time you provide) to verify your delivery. You qualify for a discount if you fit any of these categories: military personnel, first responders, and senior citizens. They also offer service 24 hours a day. Their prices are reasonable and they're always professional and pleasant. I could say a lot more about how much I love the people and the services provided but I think you get the idea. You don't have to take my word for it, give them a try for yourself. What do you have to lose? Contacted Rinaldi Energy to obtain an estimate to install possibly 3 heat pumps. They came to do a walk through and they told me that they would be in contact with me to provide final recommendations and an estimate. That was over 3 weeks ago. Have not heard from them since. Not a very professional 1st impression to me. If they were not interested in my business, I wish they would have at least been honest enough to advise me. Cannot recommend them for any installation service whatsoever. Update as of 7/10/2020- I followed up with them by email asking for a call to clarify why I haven't been contacted. No return call or email response! Before considering doing business with this company, (ask yourself)... Can I trust a company that demonstrates this type of unreliability ? Stay away. read more

Had written a review on Rinaldi Oil for failure to fill oil tank in December when I was an autofill customerand Rinaldi failed to deliver oil and the tank ran dry, on a weekend. They offered ZERO emergency services and only allowed one to leave a voice message. In August I hired Rinaldi to tune up the furnace so it was ready for the winter months. They came on August 25 2021 to service the furnace. Yesterday I received a call from the tenants saying the furnace was not working and there was a smell. I hired a furnace repairman and he reported the boiler was plugged, he had to brush and vacuum the boiler, found direct vent cross contamanation, he had to take apart the vent and reseal all the joints. All of this should have been done during the service call in August. Rinaldi charged me $239.99. I have kept the furnace tuned up every year since we've ouned the house. The furnace itself is 7 years oil. read more
