Drove 10 miles , got there at 5 pm for chinese food. Once I saw it I no, no, no. Food was old like had been under heat lamps since lunch time. Dirty and greasy looking. Chow mein had a dark crust like on top. Decided not to waste my money and headed straight Dave Wongs in Stockton. read more

Literally think about their jalapeño poppers all the time. I've been going there since I was 18 and at 34 I just took my husband and baby to try it. Right after the cherry festival, our friends and us went to eat there and we all had such wildly different food. That's whats so good about Rinaldi's, they have so many items to choose from and so different so even your picky eaters have something to eat. Loved their deli sandwich, my baby loved their corn dogs. Husband apparently did not care for his cheeseburger. Sorry, we're going back so I can get some Chinese food. read more

I grabbed the pen and went to work. I ended up with an Italian creation and it was amazing! High quality meat, tomatoes and bread. The best sandwich I've had in years. And for only $10.00. In the area due to my kids football practices at Linden HS for this week. It's a nice little town. Majority of the people that we crossed paths with were very nice. They waved as they passed with a smile. We are people of color. My other kids were hungry and they love them some Chinese food (I'm also part Chinese). This place popped up and I thought that's kind of weird for a Chinese restaurant in a supermarket. Then again, I remember Safeway is the same way. We ended up purchasing 3 plates (2 with fried rice and orange chicken and 1 with 1/2 and orange chicken). Total out to be about $40+. I thought, wow-that's a lot. Like purchasing food from the Mall food court. Anyway, kids were hungry and they dug in, as did I. The orange chicken was too breaded and too sweet. Sadly, it will be going to the rubbish. We should've tasted it first before purchasing. I was looking for a review on the Chinese food but not really anything. The staff who made our food and cashier were very friendly. They all smiled and were kind. We don't recommend the orange chicken though. That's all. Everything else was great. But everyone has their own preference, just not ours. read more

I would love to give Rinaldi's 5 Stars. The produce department is beautiful, the Deli and Meat departments are reliably delicious, and they stock almost every item you might need at the last minute. The reason for only 3 stars is the terrible cashier service. This is a community market that has lost the community feeling. The cashier today never looked up or acknowledged me until he announced the total of my bill. The Courtesy Clerk never said a word either. I guess, thank goodness for small favors. I didn't have to stand and listen to a private conversation between the Cashier and Courtesy clerk this time. This has, unfortunately, become the "customer service" standard I have come to expect when shopping at Rinaldi's. The exception is when the more experienced cashiers are working. Please take a few minutes and train your newer front employees in the basics of customer service and the importance of making each and every customer feel welcome. You have worked very hard for a long time to establish a valuable place in the community. Please bring back the community feel. read more

Rinaldi's Market an institution in Linden our family has been out here for over 30 years and it was great when they decided to demo the old store and build the new building and added an authentic Chinese deli the food here is hot and fresh they have delicious garlic fried chicken along with lots of other Chinese food and offering great sandwiches and burgers and the fries are great and they will make them extra crisp upon request. Rinaldi's Market - a parking lot with cars parked in front of it - Grocery Near Me - Linden, California

Stopped at Rinaldi's on my way home after a day the Linden Gun Range to see what they have to offer. The market is well stocked with everything you'd expect to see at supermarket located in a more urban setting and prices seemed reasonable and not market up as you often see at markets located in rural areas. The meat/deli counter is very attractive and the service is excellent. To order a sandwich, you grab an order form and pencil, fill it out and give it to one of the staff to prepare it. Ordered a ham and swiss w/the normal accompaniments (lettuce, tomato, etc) which tasted very fresh and only cost about $5. Grabbed a 25oz can of beer (that's the only single size they sell) out of the frig that cost less than $2 and had a very nice "lunch" on one of the picnic tables outside. I'm sure it has a loyal following of local customers but it's also a very good place to stop for something to eat if you are just traveling thru on Hwy 26. read more

This place is extremely convenient for me and has certain things that Orlando's doesn't. I also do not have to travel further east to Mar-Val to get basic supplies for dinner. With convenience comes a higher product cost and there is no short list of overpriced products at Rinaldi's. So keep that in mind. The staff is usually young but are nice enough. The deli is okay but the price on what I get every single time fluctuates so I have to raise my concern with a supervisor if it's more than I should be paying. The owner is pretty stuck up but I don't talk to him anymore. Their crusade against Dollar General is funny in my opinion because they know they'd get slaughtered over prices. I don't really care. I just wish this town had a McDonald's. Dollar General, you should've built a spot in Linden because you'd capture a whole lot of daily commuter traffic to and from the foothills. read more

I came here and the younger ladies were so helpful on suggestions and what is best and cheaper. I got some delicious deli sandwiches and some chinese food. But while i was there i heard two short older looking ladies yelling at them about something from across that deli. It was disturbing to hear the older ladies yell at the younger girls like that. There was also an older taller older looking lady who had no mask on (the only one without one on) who was talking to a customer laughing and getting comfortable all while the line seemed to be getting longer. I believe it was when the high school ,right next to the grocery store, had been release. Some workers they have wow! Those girls deserve better than that. I drove to Rinaldi's for their Chinese food on the recommendation of a neighbor who raves about their food and I know him to be a good cook and have great taste in foods. May we say I wasted alot of gas and time for food that was sub sub par to say the least. Normally I would've taken this all back except for the distance. I've tried reheating in ways to make it more edible and it's still crap! Positives: _______________ Decent sized portions Complied with my request no MSG added (I'll know real fast if it was) 3 of the 4 pieces of garlic chicken were to die for Deep fried zucchini was very good Time to prepare my varied order Negatives: _______________ Bone dry chow mein though it was supposed to have been made fresh With the exception of the sweet & sour pork, all the other meat was dry, tough and stringy 4th garlic chicken breast was dry a heck and had a weird taste in the center. Perhaps though this is where the ginger concentrated. The szechuan chicken dry/stringy and little spice Lemon chicken, dry/stringy and it was real hard to detect any lemon flavor. Just sweet and sticky Combo plate included pork chow mein with sweet/sour pork along with garlic chicken. The sweet & sour pork was fine and the chicken in that meal was fine but the chow mein was dry as our separate order of it was. All totaled, this meal was almost $60, that's one hell of a lot of money and we should've received far better than we received. I do wonder if it had to do with the lateness of our visit but we were assured all was fresh made to order. I cook a great deal, the only way you get meat that dry and stringy is over cooking or sitting out exposed to heat. Heaven only knows how long the chow mein had been left sitting.
