I'm posting an update simply because of an interaction between our waitress, Miley, and a member of our party from about 2 weeks ago. After we had finished our salad and soup, a member of the party asked our waitress for another fork. She said that the restaurant counts their forks and she can't replace the fork or get another one. We simply could have gone and picked up another place setting from another table and we were all taken aback when we were told that the restaurant counts forks and we can't possibly have a replacement. That to me is absurd and I've never heard that anywhere else that I've eaten over the years. What if you drop your fork on the ground? I'm not going to use the same fork to eat after it's been dropped on the floor in a restaurant. Do I need to bring my own plastic set in case I drop my fork or one another one simply because I want to change my palate between the salad that I just ate and my crab cakes that are coming? Again this is absurd. I'm hoping that the owner or management will read this and correct this problem because it should never have come up as an issue. I love this restaurant and I wouldn't be putting in a review like this if it weren't necessary to resolve an issue like this. read more

My whole afternoon was a mess. First we had to seat ourselves, which wasn't a problem because it was empty in there. When our waiter finally decided to come over to our table he seemed to be in a bad mood and was short with me because I asked a few questions about the menu. I get that we all have bad days but as a paying customer all we ask is for you to do your job for 10 minutes. When our food came out it was warm not hot at all. It appears that it may have been microwaved because the breaded veal patties came out in less than five minutes and the sauce was scorched on the mystery meat. I took one bite and couldn't eat anymore. It was a flavorless mess of a meal. Check please. So the bill was $42, I gave him $50 and I usually leave cash on the table. The waiter says to me that "you don't want any change right?". How are you going to tell me what to give you. Go ahead keep that. So as we proceed to walk out of the door even though not satisfied I told the waiter to have a nice day. He followed us outside and asked us if we paid the $50? Yes we did, why? His comment to us was that "the next time you come here order out, don't come in and sit down to eat because you don't tip". I thought I heard something different so I ignored him. Then he stood outside the restaurant where he tried to stare us down and intimidate us into giving him more money for his cruddy service. So I had to do what I do best and get out of my car a confront this behavior. I nicely explained to him that I don't have to give you anything if I feel like you don't deserve it. He then said to me "Fuk you and don't come here anymore" I was astonished by this negative energy coming from someone who depends on the public to support their business. Now both of us are in front of the restaurant arguing about probably 2-3dollars. He had already gotten $8 from the $50. Let's just say that me or anyone I know will be spending money in this place ever again. I hope that this guy wasn't the owner because we don't need this kind of business in Owings Mills. I called and the owner who can barely speak English told me I could bring it back and they would remake it. Oh drive back to your restaurant and waste more of my gas. An Italian gym in Owens Mills. I was craving Italian tonight and decided to do a quick Google search and came across this restaurant. We ordered chicken Parmesan and chicken penne pasta with vodka sauce. The portions are huge. We will definitely have leftovers for lunch and maybe even dinner tomorrow. Both pasta dishes were flavorful and perfectly al dente. We ordered takeout so I'm not sure about what the restaurant looks like inside. I ordered a sausage and peppers sandwich. I inadvertently placed the wrong order for an italian classic hero. When my wife went to pick it up she noticed the error and called me. I told the restaurant of my error. They happily took back the incorrect order I placed and gave me the design sausage sandwich. No fuss, no bother. It was my first time ordering here. I bought the seafood platter and stuffed shrimp. Both dishes were seasoned very well. Their 3 stuffed shrimp were a nice size and delicious. Their crab cake is also good with not too much filling. I did not feel the 2 shrimp that came with my seafood platter were 'jumbo' as advertised though. Staff was professional and courteous. They have a cute little sit in area that mimics a cafe in Italy. Only giving 4 stars, because when I got home 20 min. later I discovered they gave me a Broiled Seafood platter instead of a FRIED Seafood Platter. My receipt cleared showed 'Fried Seafood.' i came to this place on a Friday evening and ordered on a lark. I got the 3 Karen's salad which is the salad plate with tuna, chicken and shrimp salad. This was an excellent rendering of a classic salad plate. Everything fresh, salad greens were not an afterthought so they were very fresh and even got carryout the item came carefully plated. The pepper and onions could use some more time on a flat top for a grilled taste and appearance. The spaghetti and sauce were fine but did not make up for the disappointment of the peppers, onions, and sausage combo. Tried carryout at Rincon and there were some hits, and some misses. I ordered the chicken Marsala, chicken parmigiana, salad, and their garlic bread. The Marsala was lacking in sauce, and subsequently flavor. I was really hoping for more of the Marsala wine to come out of the dish more. On the other hand I would absolutely recommend their chicken parmigiana, and they knock their garlic bread out of the park. The chicken was NOT dry, and it was a very balanced dish overall. We did a very small get together of close friends quarantined together and host surprised us with dinner from here. When I say the carryout was awesome!!! We all had the crab cake dinners. Yes, they are over the age of 70. They handled a relatively large order during a Saturday dinner rush perfectly. While I'm not too impressed with their pizza, Rincon's menu has a lot of great options. The Baltimore Club sandwich was loaded and tasty and the Grilled Salmon was also great even when delivered. Rincon Italiano is by far the best Italian restaurant outside of Little Italy Baltimore. Their food is always fresh, plentiful, and so delicious. Today I asked if they could possibly make me an entree not on the menu: spaghetti carbonara with blackened chicken, bacon, mushrooms, peas, and Alfredo sauce. Raul kindly said to me, yes, no problem. Their entrees always come with an ample portion of garlic bread and a very generous salad and house dressing. Their chicken parmesan is huge, with two large breaded chicken breasts and fresh mozzarella smothered on top. Their lasagna is also out of this world. I can honestly say that one entree feeds two adults! They are always super kind to speak with, very friendly, and they are passionate about their jobs and restaurant. I ordered the cuban "panini" sandwich. Portion size is good, i like the amount of meat you get. But you can't call it a panini if you don't press the sandwich. I order thinking panini and got a toasted white bread sandwich. which they just toasted on a dirty grill. (I worked in kitchens for years) so I know the black taste of an old grill that isn't cleaned enough. Coworkers got salads, maybe I will try that, if there is a next time. But never getting a sandwich there. Not sure what I would be getting if they don't even serve a panini when menu says panini. read more

I have just returned after picking up a take out order from Rincons, and doubt regardless of the quality of food I will not return. We just received a coupon book which included a 15% off entire check valid for pick-up. I reviewed the add and no where is there a disclaimer that to use the coupon a call in order is required as opposed to online which was performed. When the coupon was presented I was advised that only way to use the coupon was to call, despite there being no disclaimer. After a spirited enchange with one of the employees I was told that needing this clarification is like needing instructions to use toilet paper.
