After social media advertised this restaurant, I yelped it. The reviews were mixed. I tried it out for myself. Its in the shopping center across from the Giant by Hammershire. Parking is not priblematic. There is an option to dine in or go to their carryout section. I chose carryout. I looked over the menu after entering the carryout entrance. Beer/wine etc was available on this side. I purchased the cheesesteak eggrolls. They were a bit pricey. I got home to taste the hype. I was saddly disappointed. They were a little overcooked and greasy. The taste of a cheesesteak was there but it was not to die for. For the price of $16+ tax and it was 2 small eggrolls I will not consider this again. For me I was not thrilled and to others it is all in your preference. I probably will not return as the customer service was not there for a carryout section as well. I met a close friend of mine here for drinks. He's been raving about it so I decided to come check it out. It was a pleasant experience. I love how sweet and attentive the bartenders were. The gentleman that made my drink, an Italian margarita, was so sweet and can make one hell of a drink! He also checked in after making it to make sure I liked it. This is my neighborhood spot I found this place after work when I wanted to go on a date not far from my job . I've been coming here since that 1st date and now it's my designated place to watch the games, enjoy happy hour , or eat my fav GREEK SALAD with buffalo shrimp ! The portions are very filling here. I have never had a problem with taste or service . They have really good servers that are friendly and attentive. I would name names but I'm tipsy and I can't remember. Now back to this Greek Salad ! It's my favorite dish on the menu. I always add the BUFFALO SHRIMP . It really changes everything. I wish it was more chopped but I'm not gonna be petty when everything else is right ‍. Although it goes by two names the food is super fresh and really tasty. I have gotten the eggplant Parmesan twice. It is a huge portion and lasts me three meals. Hubby got the lasagne. Definitely a large portion. My plan was to taste it but it was gone so fast. Both orders came with a large salad and a ton of garlic bread. I will admit that the wait time for food arrival can be longer than needed especially when considering hungry children. Other than that, the wait staff is consistently friendly and attentive. Note: Most people use credit cards and as a business owner myself,I pay the fees as a conveniece for my customers. This is a business expense, not a customer tax. Adding gratuity despite if the service is good or bad and a ripoff. It is a restaurants responsibility to pay their employees a fair wage and not tax t he customer for it. The strawberry crush was really good. Plenty of alcohol to get a buzz. The chicken sandwich was just okay. The breading was a bit soggy and not as crispy as I would like. I would definitely go back. The waitress refused to turn the sound down or offer us another table (or apologize) saying others had paid for it from the jukebox. All that while waiting over 20 minutes to order with menus in front of us, ready to order, watching another table that came in simultaneously order and get their salads. Food was delicious!! Hot, perfectly cooked, well seasoned!! What more can you ask for!! We got the calamari which was hot and crispy and well seasoned. It really didn't need the marinara but ifykyk! My 9 yo got the 10 inch pepperoni pizza. It was delicious and very large for the price! She only ate 2 slices!! I got the shrimp and scallop linguini special! Again large portion and delicious!! Good food... been there a few times everything's been good went last night my crabcake very good and very good size but just slightly undercooked and so were my hush puppies and my steamed shrimp. I think it's just me. I like my food a little bit on the overdone side. The drinks were fantastic and I would definitely recommend going there for a meal. Had a great time having lunch here with a friend. Totally rebranded by way of menu, drinks and ambiance but the interior set up is the same. Food was pretty good. I had calamari and cheese steak egg rolls. Loved them both. We were served by Nelson and David. Great service and very attentive. Drinks were just right and the staff was friendly and our order was accurate and food came out quickly. Restaurant appeared clean and bathroom was well maintained. Music was pretty cute with a juke box that had current hits for anyone that wanted to listen. Restaurant also played old school R&B music. Ok. I've been here twice in the past four weeks. Both times for happy hour. The first visit was for a few, three crushes. They were made very well! Fresh squeezed oranges into a nice crush, each was similar and tasty. The second visit, a Wednesday around 4:30 was different. The bartender seemed to either be bothered to serve us or was annoyed that he needed to wait on us. We had beers which were good and also wings, which were fairly well cooked. Good flavor. Service wasn't great last visit but very, it's Reisterstown at 4:30!? And NOTE.. they include a 15% tip in the check - at least at the bar. Both times. Visited this place since having changed hands from another establishment. Overall experience didn't disappoint one bit! Upon entering, either they'd just opened or we were just lucky, but the place was empty. This didn't deter us as we both had had a difficult day The room was a widely open, with several tables covered in white cloths. Lights low, but not too low (hubs didn't need to use his white cane), and seemed very clean. As there was no one else present, we were welcomed and sat immediately. Our server (I hate I didn't get her name) was extremely sweet and friendly. We asked about happy hour and were provided this menu (pictured) and the dinner drink (not pictured) menu. I initially ordered off the the regular menu one of my favorites (lemon drop martini), however, was encouraged to review the happy hour menu ( which turned out to be a better option, as for what I would've paid for one, I got two with the happy hour choice). Food choices were decent, "bar" options and turned out to be very good as we were advised everything was made fresh and from scratch. The only "issue" I had was hubs requested cheesesteak egg rolls and instead of notifying us they were out, we were brought out cheesesteak quesadillas. Although hubs typically isn't a fan, he acknowledged it was a good choice and ate all of it. My pizza was delightful as it was full of flavor, fresh, and plentiful. The drinks were good, rail, but good. I had the peach margarita and later the mango. I prefer mango over the peach as it had more mango flavoring than the peach. Oh, and they don't rim the glass with salt. This isn't an issue for me, but hubs is a saltaholic All in all, we had a good experience. The wall length screen in the corner was a good touch and could easily be viewed from almost every angle of the restaurant. The best part of the experience is for everything we ordered including the tip (which is added in) came to $41. What a win! And we will be back! read more

Newest changeover in our area but wasn't disappointed at all! We sat at the bar and it was a busy day but James was quite flexible with all the people wanting his attention. I had the wings and my buddy had the pizza. If you have to choose something the pizza is by far the best here. I say this as the crust itself was baked just right with the right amount of crispness. All the veggies were super fresh and that made it even better. The wings were just that WINGS. They did cook them to my liking but other than that I was satisfied. This is definitely the spot for Sunday football. The Ravens played at 1pm and television screens were adequately sized. Lol. Nelson was our bartender and server. Unfortunately, he was the only person serving so many people, but he held everything down. Everyone was very patient. Nelson made excellent drinks, was attentive to the patrons, and ensured that all of our food orders were in correctly. It was cool that they had brunch specials and unlimited mimosas with the purchase of an entree. I ordered the Americano and an extra side of sausage. Blue Lagoon will rip you off and they don't give a care when you bring it to their attention, they just smile and shrug. On Tuesdays they have a special deal on crab cakes. $27.00 for a single and $49.00 for a double. We called ahead to order a double and went to pick it up. When we arrived the server lady at the take-out counter told us the total was $58.85?????!! When we told her it should only be $51.94, she shugged and smiled and said, "I know....but that's just how it comes up in the system". I asked, "Okay, isn't there something that can be done about that?" She replied still smiling, "No....they've been working on it, but that's just how it is". So, we begrudgingly paid the incorrectly inflated charges, left with our order....confused, disappointed and immediately knowing we needed to write this review. Another thing to be careful of on their Crab Cake Tuesdays is that the special price only appies to the Crab Cake platter NOT the Crab Cake sandwich (which makes no sense since they are the same exact crab cake). They will cheerfully take your order for a crab cake sandwich on a Tuesday but conveniently NOT tell you that you won't be getting the discount price on it. Then when the bill comes, you're stuck with paying full price. Lastly, WATCH OUT.....they will UPCHARGE you for things. They upcharge if you request a substitution of your sides, they upcharge you 3% if you use a credit card, they add a 1% upcharge for the "Plastic Reduction Act" (whatever the heck that is....just another way to squeeze more $$$ out of you). I'm surprised they don't upcharge for silverware, napkins, catsup packets, salt & pepper, using the restroom....you name it. Smh! The food here is good, but the way they do business with their greedy/shady ways of nickel and diming customers is inexcusable. AGAIN I can't say it enough....BEWARE BEWARE....Don't pay them before you carefully CHECK YOUR RECEIPT!! Or better yet, avoid this restaurant so you don't risk getting ripped off. read more

This location has changed personality over the years. Recently, they found a new identity in their version of Italian Bistro meets American bar. The service was enthusiastic and very pleasant. The food is solid and well prepared. The overall vibe is relaxed and open. The appetizer (California Beets) was well executed. The portions are very generous(Very). The entrees were prepared with care. I ordered the seafood Alfredo which did not disappoint. Shrimp were perfect, as were the scallops. Most Alfredo's are over sauced. Blue Lagoon had a nice light Alfredo sauces which allowed the other components of the dish to shine. I will need a good nap after this feast. I was there on 8/14/24 I ordered the fried shrimp dinner and fried clams. About an hour or so after I arrived home I became violently ill. Vomiting etc. called the restaurant today just to make them aware how sick I was and spoke with Maria who said she was the manager. Advised I was only calling to make them aware, of course she alleges she spoke with the chef and he said all of the seafood was fresh. Even though it was fresh that doesn't mean it wasn't contaminated or bad when they received it. She insisted it was something else and I let her know it was not because I was fine before I ate there.
