Last night for Valentine's Day, we totally enjoyed Italian cuisine at its best! We started with the delicious shrimp chowder which had an abundance of tender shrimp cooked to perfection in a delightful cream sauce. But that was only the beginning! Next up, I ordered the bone-in Veal Choppette with mozzarella over a bed of pasta which totally lived up to - and exceeded my expectations. Thought I died and went to veal heaven. I'm working a side quest later today and I had time before my train came. The lighting gives off a vibe that this place might have been more posh in a time long ago. But I think what really factors into my rating today is the customer service because all the employees I came across today here were super chill and nice. One of them took the time to notice I was wearing a fundraiser shirt and we talked a little bit about Tom Petty which was nice. One bit that might make you readers chuckle is that my waitress asked out of the blue if I vlog. I said no and she remarked I looked like I would be good at it. I smiled at that because little did they know I write reviews here on Yelp and I was not about to let them know that. On top of all that, service was very quick. I usually do not like to see the egg whenever I am served this breakfast, and I was able to see the egg used in this order. It was also a little on the soggy side, but not too bad. It was an overall satisfying breakfast that will help tie me over to lunch and/or dinner. Honestly, even though my rating here is a 4, it really should be a 4.5 and that is what I would actually give it if half-stars were a thing. The customer service was excellent enough that you can't really go wrong with either rating here. I will gladly return another chance I get.
