He said they could come out on Wednesday about 1:00pm to do the work. I accepted on the spot. He texted me to let me know his crew was held up at a previous job and would be there about an hour after the expected time which worked perfect fro me because i had to go get the keys to move a car I had parked under the tree. His crew showed up. The foreman introduced himself to me and confirmed the work they were to be doing. He and his crew raised the tree skirt (lifted the crown) and thined out the number of branches. Erik asked for only $50.00. I knew was to low as its White Ash, very hard wood. I had cut the dead tree up to this point, but did not have large enough chain saw to do final cut. I told Erik $150.00. It took his 3 man crew two hours to cut up the big piece of tree as it was hard wood. I needed them small enough for the city to take. Per his business card he is licensed, bonded, and insured. Give these guys a call and pay them a fair wage as they are just starting out.
