The truck has always presented nicely. The folks are from my hood of Chicks Beach, thus the name CXB in their name. You can find them every where however and follow on Facebook for locations. Food has been tasty, but complaint on the brisket is although a lot of meat it has been a lot of fat too! The slaw side is really yum and baked beans should not be missed. They bake the beans for hours and are really rich. Service has been friendly and helpful when helping on menu items. Prices push the price point. Today the two kids offerings of hot dogs were $5 and up. They do take credit cards. Today they were at Church Point Neighborhood's annual picnic. It seemed most residents preferred their truck to Sofrito that offers up Cuban cuisine. A strong 3. I would recommend and return.

The tomatoes were fresh, huge slices of fresh mozz and it was well-seasoned with salt and basil (I opted for no EVOO). My husband had the $11 Low Country Chicken sandwich which was a very yummy combo of chicken, pimento cheese and tomatoes, served with a pickle spear. While all the signature sauces have dairy in them, I appreciated that they stated that fact on their menu beside where their sauces were listed. I wish I had come about an hour later in the day because, after ordering, I learned that they have a happy hour from 3 to 5:30 each day where The Truth Taco is $3.50 and other dishes are cheaper as well. Some street fries were ordered for the table, and I had fished out about 5 fries without the sauce (because I figured there was a dairy sauce and cheese on top) and the fries were really tasty as well! The atmosphere inside is very fun and bright with huge glass garage door windows letting light in and colorful paintings of animals on the walls. If you have sensitivity to noise, know that they keep the music volume pretty low, but since the restaurant is right on the boulevard and has large glass windows, you're likely going to hear some noisy cars drive by. Overall, I had a good experience and would come here again, especially on a Tuesday, Sunday or after 3pm since that's when they have the best deals (which I appreciate)!

For my first visit I had the wings and combo and here's the breakdown. With the combo you choose a protein, I chose the Lao sausage with sticky rice, papaya salad and 2 eggrolls. It came with 5 different sauces. The flavor of the sausage was so good! And the papaya salad is the best I've had. I had the mild version and it was a perfect spice for me and I've tried so many.
