I had heard great things about this place and since I'm from Hawai'i, I had to check it out and I was hoping it was as good as back home. My husband had the D Kine Loco Moco ($20.50) and he really liked it. I wanted to try the chicken katsu but it's made with chicken breast and that's a nope. I got the Garlic shrimp plate ($20). It did not have the Ohana Garlic Butter. It just had the grease from being fried. And 2 of the 7 shrimp were not cleaned good (deveined). There was a sign on the door that they were short staffed because of graduations but I expected that to affect the service time, not the food. I would give it another try and maybe try other dishes or maybe I could just stick to shave ice. One can Hawaiian Sun is $3.50 but it was nice to have flavors from home. The vibe was nice, people were nice, and the place is clean. 3.5 stars.

plate with 2 protein with teriyaki beef and kuli kuli chicken with mac and salad

It is my first time here I came during lunch hour so about 11 something am or so I came in it was spacious and clean. i see benches and than counter to seat and and tables cute space. There were already a few people eating and in line ordering take out. I got myself a menu and ordered plate of 2 proteins. I got Huli Huli chicken and teriyaki beef just for first try. I will come back next time to order other things. Customer service is friendly and nice. The food was very fresh and teriyaki beef was great quality as well. It was tender and very flavorful. I actually think the meat were tons of it and the rice was too little, but the meat got you full so now i don't mind the less rice.

Chicken Katsu & Gravy (Japanese Curry)

While I was in the area, I stopped by Ohana & Co Eatery, since I'd recently seen a post about it being the newest spot in Red Mill. I absolutely love Hawaiian food so I couldn't wait to try it out. As soon I walked in, I noticed the tropical decor, which was absolutely beautiful! As I walked towards the counter, I grabbed a menu and looked over the items. Unfortunately, they were out of some of their Spam items but with it being a "soft opening ", it was understandable. I decided on the Chicken Katsu & Gravy (made with Japanese Curry) Macaroni Salad, Lumpia and Pungo Fruit Tea. It totaled to about $45. My tea was made very quickly and tasted great with the exception of the lychee jelly, which was very sweet. It took over 30 minutes for my food to be served but once again, I gave them grace since they just opened. The Chicken Katsu & Gravy was amazing! The chicken was a tad bit undercooked in the center but the curry gravy was the best I'd ever had. The Lumpia was fresh and tasty and the Macaroni Salad was delicious! I was sitting next to someone that ordered the Shave Ice and she said it was very good! Overall, with this place being new, I'm sure they still have a few kinks to work out but the food was absolutely delicious. There's a few tables and a bar area to sit at if you choose to dine in. Since it's close to my house, I will definitely be returning soon! Definitely stop in and support this new spot in Red Mill.

    Menu April 2026

I went to Ohana and Co around 2pm on a Saturday. It was busy with a steady flow of people coming in and out, which makes sense since they're newly opened. We opted to take our food to go since there are limited seating options. If you are with a big group, I would suggest coming during non peak hours. The menu is very broad and covers a lot of food items you'd typically find in Hawaii, everything from spam musubi to plate combos and desserts. My husband and I each got a 2-protein entrée for $20 (April 2026 pricing). Each plate came with short grain sticky rice, macaroni salad, and ginger salad. For proteins, we tried teriyaki beef, char siu chicken, and huli huli chicken. The teriyaki beef stood out. It was tender, flavorful, and a generous portion. I personally tried the huli huli chicken and felt it was solid, but I'd probably ask for extra sauce next time because it leaned a bit plain on its own. For dessert, I ordered a shave ice to share, specifically the Lolo 'ono ($15: ube base with tapioca, mango, and coconut). That was good, light flavor profile and not overly artificial & sweet. One thing I was super excited to try was their mango sticky matcha. I loved it! The matcha was smooth without any graininess. Much like the shave ice, this had a light mango flavor without coming off artificial or too sweet. I'm a big fan of inclusions in my drinks so the tapiocas and jellies were the perfect addition! Total for two entrées, one shave ice, and a regular matcha came out to about $70 after tax. Overall, Ohana and Co. is a convenient all-in-one spot for Hawaiian food, desserts, and drinks!! I'll definitely be back with family and friends!

Wanted to give 5 stars. But the $15 price tag for shaved ice with ice cream is for me that the hard times isn't a consideration for the ohana spirit to keep prices reasonable. The service was nice at least they were patient as I went down the menu for something interesting. With a large counter to the right of the dining area, it takes a lot of room away from possibly seating more people especially in this heat of summer.

Combo plate Huli huli chicken, teriyaki beef and macaroni.

Very Hawaiian meal, I am not the best judge here as I haven't been to Hawaii yet. I have had Hawaiian in other spots in Florida so I am comparing that. The huli huli chicken was the star as I would go back for just that. The teriyaki beef was decent but I am picky. The macaroni had more mayo than I have had before. I liked it but my wife not as much. The service is a counter style and they bring it to you after you order. I will say that there is limited seating inside for large groups. The place is small but quaint. Overall good and will come back for more.

    Loco moco Kalua pork
    Cora C.

The interior was clean and was well decorated. The lady in front was friendly and patient with us. The food came out quickly! The loco moco was good. The meat was seasoned nicely and the eggs were the perfect touch. Also got the kalua pork platter with salad and pineapple slaw. Personally we didn't enjoy the pork, it was salty and dry. Definitely would need a sauce. For $40 total the portions didn't fill us up. Would come back to try other desserts and dishes.

Receipt showing payment for food and drinks! Falsely accused of not paying!

I am extremely disappointed with how this situation was handled. Two weeks after dining at Ohana & Co., the restaurant publicly posted a photo of me on social media, implying that I had left without paying for my drinks. This accusation was completely false. I immediately contacted the owner, and I have the receipt clearly showing that my bill was paid in full. Rather than verifying the facts before making a public accusation, the restaurant chose to post a customer's image online. Although the post was removed after I called, the embarrassment and damage had already been done. Mistakes can happen, but businesses have a responsibility to investigate before publicly accusing customers of wrongdoing. A private conversation would have resolved this immediately. Because of the way this was handled, I have lost confidence in this establishment and will not be returning. I hope they improve their communication and verification process so no other customer has a similar experience.

Double huli huli chicken & double rice with 5 spam masubis!

BEST HAWAIIAN FOOD IN THE AREA BY FAR!! Highly recommend! Absolutely loved the food here! If you're craving Hawaiian food, this is the place to go for sure! The first time we went, we ordered 4 spam masubis, three plates of 1 entree lunch combo plates of Huli huli chicken & 1 with chicken katsu. All of the lunch combo plates came with Mac salad, rice & salad with ginger dressing. For drinks we ordered lanikoi & Waikiki smoothies, which were refreshing & delicious. For dessert we tried their halo halo, and Lolo ono! The 2nd time we visited, we ordered two two entree lunch combo plates with double Huli huli chicken & double rice, 5 spam masubis, 1 order of lumpia (4 pcs), lanikoi smoothie & halo halo! All of the food was just as amazing/delicious as the 1st time! The staff were super friendly, patient & attentive! The owner, Jackie is phenomenal & makes you feel like a valued customer! She checked in on our table periodically, engaged in a conversation with my kids & made sure we were all set. She went above and beyond & made sure we enjoyed our visit! It is a very neat & clean establishment. There are only a few tables inside. We really enjoyed the food & vibes! Definitely recommend if you're in the area!

    Spam loco moco

I'm obsessed with this new place. It is the BEST Hawaiian shaved ice in the 757, plus the food is delicious too. We had the spam musubi with egg and cheese and the regular without, plus the spam loco moco and they were delicious . Loved the environment, the live music made it feel like we were in hawaii. 10/10 we will be back!

Every single thing on the menu was amazing! We ordered the Mai Tai (happy hour), chicken Katsu, Loco Moco, and Spam Musubi. This was my first time having spam and wow was I pleasantly surprised. The flavors from all the dishes were so unique and tasty. We've been back a couple times already. Also got the shaved ice for dessert which was so good! Highly recommend this place

Highly recommend this place for their delicious food and friendly customer service! I had their spam musubi and their shave ice and both were amazing! I plan to come back very soon with my girlfriend!

Cute designs on the wall, tv showed cool views of Hawaii. everyone was so nice and worked together to provide great service! All of the food was delicious and well seasoned. Will definitely be back soon!

This place tastes and feels like home away from home 808. A much go to for Hawaii flavors and aloha. Da grinds. Ono

And if that wasn't enough the manager (who I think may be the owner?) is such a kind man who always makes me feel welcome whether I'm doing takeout or dining in. And the another time I was doing takeout and he'd forgotten to add the extra side of coleslaw, we don't realize it until we were home and so didn't go back. we're regulars here so he must've known he'd see us again and to my surprise the next time we ordered (weeks later) he still remembered and gave us a free side of coleslaw! We went and got checked in at our hotel and placed an order through Grubhub for delivery. The wait time for delivery was about 30 minutes which wasn't too bad. Our food arrived and we couldn't wait to dig in. The first disappointment we found was that our egg was very undercooked. The white of the egg had a "snotty" look to it. We took the most undercooked parts of the egg off and then dug in. The second disappointment for us was that the rice tasted and felt like it had been sitting uncovered all day. Granted, it was around 8:30 when we ordered but I still expect to get fresh ingredients. The burger patties were not very well seasoned but were overall decent. The macaroni salad was really good and wish I had double portions of it. The coleslaw was good, creamy with a little bit of sweetness. Visually, the dish looked really good, but the overall flavor, texture and freshness just wasn't there. Would I try them again but dine in with them? Absolutely. I feel it is worth giving them another chance.

But I wish it was a little more consistent. Sometimes the garlic shrimp dish is also inconsistent... out of the salad, or the dressing, or the rice.
