Very consistent. I've been coming here for more than 10 years and I haven't been disappointed. At one point their phone line was messed up so I couldn't call to order ahead. I love the ceviche flavor. The price has gone up but it's worth it if you want something good. I always get to go. I've never ate in so I can't review on that. I will keep coming back as long as they're still open.

Delicious! It's exactly what you would think it is. Got served some chips and salsa right away, as you do in a Mexican restaurant. I only got a chicken salad but man was it good! And you can tell they really cared about presentation and putting it together. The waitress was so nice and accomodating even though I asked some odd questions about the menu. Would definitely recommend eating here if you like Mexican food. I plan to come back tomorrow! Parking is around the back and you can enter through the back or front. Looks like hole in the wall but those are always the most authentic. Plenty of room to sit.

    Happy wifey, happy lifey.

Bang for buck... You're in Luck. Had Micheladas and Agua Chiles. They Aguachiles were bombdiggity and the Miches were refreshing and simple. Lots of chips y salsa and the ladies were super attentive nice and warm smiles. The wife and I will be back soon.

Let's start of by saying this is not the same place. The previous restaurant no longer exist. The new name of this place is Tijuana Grill #2 / Mariscos Puerto Angel. I decided to go to Birrieria Apatzingán but unbeknown to my knowledge that restaurant no longer exist. I was really disappointed because I was looking for a restaurant that sells Morisqueta. I thought I had finally found one but the bad luck seems to follow me. We ended up ordering camarones a mojo de ahí and camarones a la diabla. I ordered the camarones a la diabla. The camarones were good. The sauce was missing something but didn't disappoint. They serve it with a side of rice witch was really good, French fries and a side of salad. Great portions. Really fulfilling. The food also came with tortillas but they were store bought not fresh made like the previous restaurant in the same location. Cash only! Prices pretty decent. It's small. Looks like the previous owners sold with all the materials incorporated like booth, tables and chairs. Servers seem to be the owner and young daughter. Seems like they just started and buisness is happening. Give it a try they won't disappoint.

Under new managment Food was great!!!

In my head I'm like "how do you not have it on the meñu but yet sell it ?" I didn't make it a big deal but for some reason she seemed annoyed. I also asked one of the other servers if they can bring a lemonade for my daughter, she had said yes she can do that. But.. We got our food 35 mins later (keep in mind it was one plate) we were waiting on. & we still hadn't gotten our lemonade I had asked for. The cook brought us our plate & he was nice and asked if we needed anything else. I said " I asked one of the servers for a lemonade and it still hasn't been brought." & he mentioned he would let them know. Then the server comes back with an attitude and places it on the table, not even a word said. I even thanked her multiple times and nothing was said, no "you're welcome" or anything. She never even checked up on us or asked if we needed anything else. If you can't handle being a server why even work as one? Simple as that. This is what ruins a restaurant's reputation and makes people not want to go back. No tip was deserved.

The sauce isn't just an afterthought--it's the star, tying everything together with a savory, slightly tangy kick that keeps you coming back for more. The rice and beans on the side are just as impressive, clearly made with care and not just filler on the plate. The portions are generous, the prices are fair, and the overall experience feels authentic and satisfying. Maybe because it has rice instead of potatoes, I'm not sure, but it was delicious. My wife also really enjoyed hers; she gave it a 7.5 out of 10. I give my burrito a 9/10. Our chilaquiles were a whole other story and flavor profile. The carne asada that came with it was life changing. Whatever seasoning they used on tha carne asada is perfect. Plus we were meeting early which also happy hour was still happening. I think it's from 3-6. Even at 5 in the afternoon, there was no parking in the lot. And the residential parking was pretty much packed. As I had my little pup with me, we needed a table outside. It's been a while since I was seated outside. Usually it's been in the bar area. They have a back gate at the patio but it was locked. First off, the place was packed. It's been a while since it's been like that. Or maybe I've only been coming during happy hour. Also, it's somewhat seems to be a thing where you have to ask for the happy hour menus. Anyways, their items are pretty decent for prices. Drinks specials and some of the food items are worth it. We alway get a pitcher of beer for the table to share. Food wise, a couple of the ceviche. Either fish or shrimp and that's served with a tostada chip. For 12.00, it's pretty decent in size and quite tasty. Between the fish or shrimp, I prefer shrimp better. Also, two street tacos for 5.00 with many choices of protein. Lastly, the loaded fried nachos for 12.00. Let's say when they mean loaded, it was loaded. That too comes with your choice of protein which I went with the al pastor. The food was great. Reasonable price and well portioned. Plus the chips and bean dip to start off. They also accommodate some salsas with chips which is nice. Before it would alway be the bean dips and you would have to ask for the salsa. If you want fresh guacamole, they have someone that will prepare it table side to your liking. This visit, there was also the mariachi band walking around asking people if that wanted any requests. The service was great, the staffs all are amazing and friendly. Aidan was our server-in-training and, while he was mistaken that I could sub mezcal for tequila for the HH, he was lovely. He was attentive when needed and also let us girls catch up! What we ordered and thought: -Chips and salsa brought to the table. Sadly both were mediocre; thankfully, this meant that I did not eat too many chips! -LP Margarita ($9 on HH); balanced and refreshing -Pacifico ($6 on HH) what I would expect -Madre Espadin Mezcal ($12) also what I would expect, though I wish the service were more authentic to CDMX, which is the vibe of the restaurant -Guacamole ($8.25 on HH) Fresh and tasty; again mediocre chips -Rib Eye Taco ($3 for Tuesday HH); had I known it was only 3 bucks, I would have ordered two. The meat was very flavorful and cooked beautifully, not overdone! -Corn off the Cobb Salad ($13.75) add Steak ($8.25) My friend LOVED her salad and also raved about the flavor, quality, and doneness of the steak. Great spot for lunch, as we didn't need a reservation, though from what people say, it gets very busy at night and on the weekends. They have a Sunday Funday that looks good, too!

Over the last 4 years, I honestly felt like the quality across most locations had really gone downhill -- the meat didn't taste the same, the passion in the food wasn't there, and the employees often seemed rude or just completely over it. I stopped going altogether for about a year. Recently, I moved near this location and decided to give it one more shot... and I'm SO glad I did. This location brought back the early 2012 Taco Llama vibes. The food tasted fresh, the meat quality was on point, and everything felt like it was made with care. The employees were genuinely kind, quick, and efficient -- which already stood out. But what really impressed me was even the cook. At most locations, the cooks look angry or like they can't wait to clock out. The cook here, along with the short woman working with him, looked like a solid team. They were focused, calm, and actually seemed like they cared about what they were doing. You could feel the difference. Yes, $14 for a burrito is on the higher side -- I won't lie. But honestly? It was worth every dollar. The flavor, the nostalgia, the whole experience hit. I've been to over 6 different locations, and this is the ONLY one that truly brought back the original Taco Llama feel for me. 10/10. Highly recommend this location.
