A little over due simply for our remodel has taken a long time during the many delays in supply chains due to the pandemic, but I wanted to give a little shout out to Karey and Monique at Rio Stones. So in the process of a remodel and the installation of new countertops throughout a house, one deals with a contractor, a cabinetmaker, a countertop stone supplier (like Rio Stones) and a fabricator, amongst others There will always be hiccups and headaches, it is just the nature of the beast and there were. But between these four, Rio Stones was a great stone supplier and resource and did not cause us a single headache. We were referred to Rio Stones as an option and we felt the process was easy. We booked an appointment on-line, showed up at their showroom and warehouse (where masks and social distancing was happening!), kindly greeted by Monique, addressed more formally and shown the warehouse by Karey (male) and were then let loose to explore. We narrowed down our stone choice, discussed it with Karey on price and then it was done. The fabricator screwed a fews things up and then there were challenges with the cabinet maker, but in the end, there was not a single problem with Rio Stone (the supplier) and we are very happy with our countertops throughout our home. They have lots of options and felt we got a good price, so we looked no further than Rio Stones and would encourage anyone to visit as we did and discover this for themselves. read more

It required three months of my phone calls, texts, and emails to Rio Stones to obtain a manufacturer's warranty for their countertop. I bought their countertop based upon their sales brochure which states that they provide a 10-year warranty against defects. Their sales rep, Victor Hugo, repeatedly ignored or procrastinated in response to my requests for the warranty. He blamed his management for the delays. After contacting two additional reps and a supervisor, Mr. Hugo finally produced the warranty. This should have been a simple process. Rio Stones made it difficult, stressful, and uncertain. They are terribly unprofessional. I am remodeling two homes. In the future, I will go elsewhere for countertops. read more

We were referred to the Rio Stones family and team while preparing for home improvements that included updating our cabinets and countertops in our kitchen and bathrooms. Before coming to a final decision, we buzzed around town to ensure we had a good grip on all the options available. However, we kept returning to Rio Stones as they "set the bar" for our countertop dreams. Their welcoming atmosphere and team offer some of the friendliest services in town. Rio Stone's prices, variety of unique slabs, and service were top notch from start to finish. They have the widest variety in town, and walking in their showroom is inspiration heaven! After visiting the store a handful of times, we ultimately decided we loved the Calacatta Malibu Quartz (navy blue and grey veining) and will also be using it not only for our countertops but for our backsplash. It's no secret that 2020 and 2021 have put a wrench in many plans and supply chains. Thank you to Rio Stones for being the only positive experience we had during our bathroom remodels. We walked in after dealing with their competitors across the street. We were feeling depleted at this point from another really negative experience. But everything got better here! Within seconds we were greeted by a nice lady who explained how their setup works and we were off to their showroom to look at slabs. Tons of options! Gorgeous pieces! Lots and lots to choose from. I picked a few which is what I had been doing to make sure we gave ourselves as many options as possible. We were told prices on the spot. No waiting for anyone & emailing BS like their competitors. Their price was a tad higher per square foot and they even matched their lower competitors price because we shared our nightmare story. Thank you for that! So I got a quote though Costco to do my kitchen counters... and the price just seemed way too high to me... so I called Rio Stones and spoke with Christian... he was so great... he quoted the price for the jumbo slab... and he even hooked me up with Ricardo of Ornelas Granite... couldn't be more thankful... plus the showroom at Rio Stones is so cool... you gotta go check it out... I'm in the middle of a kitchen remodel. I had to buy 3 slabs of quartzite. I was promised my contractor discount if 300-400.00 per slab of which they never gave me. Additionally I needed one more slab two days ago and they tried to charge me 3000 for the one slab. When I started to walk out, they cut the price to 1792.00 for the slab. Really? What crooks. It's not enough to make some money on you - that I never mind and I appreciate they are in business- , but they clearly are out to rob you. Do not do not ever go to Jeremy- he smiles as he's robbing you. I have done three large kitchen remodels and have never experienced this. Indeed if you review my reviews you will see there are other tile and stone stores here that are excellent. So Buyer Beware! Do not go to Riostones. Instead go to Granite Expo. read more

My wife and went there because they were referred, this had to be one of my worst experiences.... the salesman Gustavo, who later I found out was the sales mgr. was not very friendly and thought he was better than us, but what really did it, was when he told us to wait and then went to his office to give us a price, instead of getting up and coming out to get us he yelled something like "hey guys come in here" we were not in his line of sight.. so all we heard was a voice yelling across the showroom, my wife and I looked at each other ....and the girl that sits at the front desk looked at us....my wife asks her ...is he calling us ??? and she said yes..we went in and took his piece of paper which we threw away and went across the street to Marble Express and bought two slabs from David Hobart who had a great personality and treated us the way you are supposed to treat a customer. read more

Once you go to Rio you won't need to go anywhere else! They have such a vast array of natural stones and quartz to choose from - so many it's actually hard to pick just one. No matter how many other slab yards I go to I always end up back here. Gustavo and Yolanda were very helpful and genuine. You can tell they truly enjoy what they do. Customer service is a big part of any buying experience. Especially when it comes to the design of your home. When you have a design vision/budget they won't try to up sell a more expensive stone. I'm very picky and have probably been back to look at the same stone 4 times within the past month and they still greet me with smiles and are eager to help! I love that. I went to all the warehouses on Sunset and found Rio to be lacking..kind of sad...we spent big bucks on countertops. Walked in girl at the front was helpful we decided on one after about an hour and were ready to pay the one we liked had had about 6 different slabs so she got someone to further help us because I wanted to pick a gentleman came out and we showed him which one be we wanted to see a few behind it he said they will all the be same i said okay I want the second one behind the first he then said i can't sell you that one you only can get the one in the front we need to keep the others together even though he just stated they are all the same he was rude about it and put a bad taste in my mouth so I walked out glad we did we saw a billboard for granite expo like a block away wayyyy better customer service and beautiful choices go there! read more

I was pleased with the overall product, however I must warn any and all potential customers to be wary of any promises made from this company beforehand. Be sure to get it in writing! Darrell did not keep his word that he gave me when I initially agreed to use them for my backyard bar. I am a firm believer in a man's handshake and word to be his bond in business. I don't care to hear excuse after excuse on why what was promised is not being delivered. Rio Stones is the best stone supplier we have ever seen, and my wife & I have built or remodeled 7 homes in CA, MA & NH and we're about to renovate our new place in Vegas. The quality and selection at Rio Stones are unparalleled, and we've visited 8-10 of the largest suppliers throughout Las Vegas. I won't name the others, but we've hit all the big shops on W Sunset, S Valley View, W Tropicana, Windy Rd, Sunrise, Highland, etc. I'm not suggesting that you shouldn't shop... but DON"T MISS RIO STONES as one of your stops! The people there are friendly and accommodating. Monique has been wonderful to us and she's done everything she could to get us the best product at the best price. After recommending some ideas, he let us talk alone, figure what we wanted, then walked us through the ordering process. Rio also has contractors on speed dial. Between the two parties, the product was transported, cut, delivered to the house, and installed...all at an exceptionally reasonable cost. I'd recommend Rio to anyone. We went to Rio Stones based on a recommendation from one of our neighbors on NextDoor. We were quickly greeted by Jasmine, and she gave us the lowdown on how things were priced, she gave us an overview of the layout, asked if we wanted a guided tour, or if we wanted to just look ourselves (which is what we wanted to do). They had a lot of really nice slabs on special sale pricing. So many different types of stone, but everything was very well organized so that it didn't get overwhelming. We found something that we loved (got an awesome price on some gorgeous granite), and paid via credit card (not sure what the gentleman in a previous reviews problem was). Jasmine was awesome - she knows her stuff, and is very friendly and personable, and she is all about customer service. She also introduced us to a fabricator who was amazing. This was our first time doing this (definitely newbies), and it all worked out perfectly. read more

I can't believe we drove all the way here and didn't get offered assistance from anyone inside. I walked in this morning with my mother looking for marble for her kitchen. There were at least 4 people inside when we walked in and although they saw us, we didn't get a welcome or a hello. We walked around the showroom for about 10-15 minutes and although we found a few slabs we liked there was no one around to offer assistance. We were not looking for amazing customer service, but an acknowledgment that we were there is expected at the very least.Two stars for an easy to find location that was clean and organized however not a great selection. Bought a couple slabs from them. Found a nice diverse selection when we went in August 2016, and we found quite a few unique slabs nobody else carried. I have been in and out of a lot of slab rooms and overall their products were more interesting and often better sized slabs than some of the big boys slab rooms. When it came time to talk number$ they were reasonable about everything. I have hit their showroom when their staffing was low, but you know, it keeps overhead down and when I needed help, they were polite and gave me all the info I needed. read more
