International customers swarm the outlet stores eager to load up their suitcases with American products for their long trip home. Today I ate tuna and rice at Yard House while watching a basketball game. Tonight is a big Florida Panther Hockey game across the street at the Amerant Bank Arena and the Oasis will be slammed with pre-game activity. I frequently come to The Oasis for several of the eateries including the Juan Valdez Café, Johnny Rockets, Cheese Cake Factory and The Baked Bear. Cvi Che 105 opened last month and stopped in today for a menu - very pricey but elegantly designed. The legendary Mojito Bar recently closed its doors forever but another eatery will soon take its place. The Taco Stand next to the Shake Shack is coming to The Oasis on April 10th 2026 which will be a nice addition. For some entertainment the arcade and the escape room are fun after dinner. Cant wait for the Regal Cinemas to complete its full renovation with the new reclining seats. Great deals at most of the retail stores including Polo, Reebok, Under Armour, and Samsonite Luggage. There are public restrooms available with music from a guy playing jazz music for tips. The outlet stores close at 9pm but the eateries stay open late. There is a farmers market on the weekends selling everything from organic honey to candy apples. FYI it is South Florida and rain is common, so bring an umbrella since The Oasis is only partially covered.

I have a family of three certified divers and two Junior Open Water divers who were out for their very first recreational dive, and this was the first shore dive for all five of us. Dave and Andres were extremely attentive, took the time to understand my family's experience and interests, and went above and beyond to plan a dive that delivered on all fronts. Andres was our Dive Master and he ensured our dive was extremely safe and fun. They made us feel like family! The reefs off Anglin's Pier don't disappoint. Besides the usual reef fish, we saw a good-sized nurse shark and a loggerhead turtle - the highlight of the trip for my boys. Parking in the area is a bit tight, but we managed without any issues. Highly recommend this as a dive spot and Deep Blue Divers as your dive shop!
