I apologized for the inconvenience but afterwards I discovered I had been removed from the loyalty program. When I politely asked to be reinstated and have my points restored, I felt I was still being treated as though the misunderstanding hadn't been resolved. As a longtime customer, that was disappointing and pretty extreme. I still recommend the store for its products and staff overall, but I hope (specific) management treats any future unusual issues like mine with a little more grace, understanding and an overall just nicer demeanor.

He eventually helped another customer, which was completely fine, but when he came back I asked maybe one or two more questions and his attitude immediately became extremely defensive and hostile. He then started raising his voice at me and claimed I had been there asking questions for an hour, when I had only been in the store for roughly 15-20 minutes. At that point I was so uncomfortable that I decided not to make the larger purchase I had planned and only bought a six-pack of Surfside. As I was leaving, I said the interaction was insane, and instead of trying to de-escalate the situation, he continued making comments toward me on my way out. I've lived in the area for six years and have shopped here before without an issue. I genuinely don't understand why asking reasonable questions about products I was prepared to spend money on resulted in this level of rudeness and hostility.
