Was nice unique experience something to do kids or adults run or shine. Some oddities that make you go hmmm.... Love that each location doesn't feel the same have been to various Ripley's and all unique experiences

I like to visit some quirky places while on my travels. If I happen to be near a Ripley's I will visit it. This is not my first Ripley's to have been to, and it will most likely not be my last. What I like about Ripley's is that they are similar in concept, but different in what they have to display. This one gives you the museum experience with a couple of added attractions you can take part of. One being a 4D theater experience and another is a mini golf experience. You can easily take up a good part of a day here if you so please. I just opted for the museum portion of it during my visit. I am one of those that takes my time and reads what I feel is important. So don't get behind me in a museum because one of two things will happen. I will either not move and make you come back to the exhibit you so want to see, or I will high tail it out of that area and grumble all the way. One thing that I like of Ripley's is that at the beginning you see that mirror asking if you can make a loop with your tongue. You know everyone goes there and tries it. This ties into your exit from the museum as you will have the chance to see yourself making a fool of yourself. Love that experience of it. Try to make sure that you stop at as many interactive exhibits as you can. They can be a nice distraction at all there is to see. Some are games, some are screens, some are projections. Each of them are entertaining. I could go over everything in here if I dared, but I do not have enough space to do so. But what I can say is that no matter how cheesy these come off as, there is always something to be learned here. That is what a museum is all about, learning. This doesn't have your typical art in it, but what is there is still art. It doesn't have your typical fossils in it, but it is still a place of fossils. Whatever you deem a museum to be, this can pass as it. On your way out, try not to fall from the optical illusion of a tunnel.

Great little museum of interesting things; I liked that they also have mini golf and the mirror maze attractions. It was a good bargain for all three.

We saw this and decided to take our kids here. It was fun. They have many attractions for you to look at and they have a 4D theatre that was enjoyable. It is expensive to go in but you can stay in there as long as you want. We played their mini golf course. It needs a lot of work. The course is run down. But it is fun for the family.

We spent the night in Williamsburg and when we woke up the first thing I wanted to do was come here! I remember visiting as a kid and loveeeee museums of curiosities. It's a little creepy (which I love) but mostly fun- as VA residents we got a healthy discount so we decided to pay for museum entry as well as games & both 4D movies! We probably spent two hours in there, I had a blast!

Pretty cool. We didn't have much planned when we came to Williamsburg, so when this popped we we decided to give it a go. This is not your typical museum and some may not like it, but others will. There are some cool and interesting things inside. Some things are unique and different, some things were just blah, and a bunch of stuff that was in the middle. It brought back fond memories of watching the TV show when I was much younger. One thing they don't do inside here is waste space, so be sure to take your time and look at everything either way. There is something almost everywhere inside here, even the smallest thing. Some things are interesting fact wise worth reading. Towards the end of the tour you have to walk through a spinning tunnel of sort. It made me feeling dizzy, crazy, and loopy all at the same time. I suffer from vertigo and this definitely messed with my equilibrium but I still have fun. I felt the admission was a little more than it should be, but it's in Williamsburg, so the price is I guess typical. It's a self guided tour and if you read and look at everything, you could take over an hour, maybe two depending on how fast you are. It's always going to be much better without crowds inside, so depending on how crowded it is, it may take you longer than you'd like to finish up. Overall, Ripley's isn't the largest, but if you take your time to "appreciate" the cheesy reproductions, you can spend a decent hour here laughing, getting grossed out, and taking photos. Will I be back? No. While interesting, once was enough for me. I might visit other locations to see how different they are from each other.

I have read reviews and seen all in between. I think the majority would love and be intrigued by everything it has to offer! Also it's all about who you go with. There is a couple attractions in the museum that could be allittle frightening or shocking to children but for the most part I think it would be okay. They give you opportunities to miss some of the more shocking parts. My girlfriend and I had a amazing time learning about crazy history and had a lot of fun with the fun mirrors, crazy illustrations and side games. We also got tickets for the 4D movie and it was also fun! Only negative for the whole place is that they give you sooo many tickets to carry around for some reason and it's allittle pricey. But fun!

Zolton is very fun to watch while he tells you you future!

If I could've waited, I would've. 3. It was raining so the lobby floor was wet. Not a wet floor sign in sight. 4. The back row in Theater 8 is literally the same height as the row in front of it.. it's like the row was added on at some point. If you're too short, you can't see past the chair to see the whole screen. 5. The screen was small. 6. In the back row, we had to put the recliner down for food runners to get past. And that was several times throughout the movie. One food runner actually walked over my reclined legs as i was struggled to push the right button to put it down. Then they hit the tray table next to me and popcorn went flying. They definitely hurt themselves and i felt bad. But this is also probably a longstanding issue. 7. In one of the back row seats we paid for, you had to turn your head to even see the screen. Otherwise, you'd be looking at the emergency door because the screen doesn't extend into the POV of the chair correctly. The only good things from my experience were comfortable chairs, central location and great ticket prices (paid $26 for 4 tickets).

The theater is always neat and clean, with a bright entrance and interesting movie posters. The café is welcoming, and the staff is a true highlight of the experience. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with a genuine smile and a welcoming attitude. The staff is incredibly friendly, polite, and patient, ensuring every step of your visit, from ordering at the café to having your food delivered to your seat, is seamless and pleasant. Their dedication to great service truly sets this theater apart. The food and drinks are a major highlight. There are many delicious choices, and everything is consistently tasty and served hot. The popcorn, in particular, is far superior and fresher than what you get at other theaters. I love the convenience of ordering food and an adult beverage right from my seat and having it delivered hot and quickly. The selection of on-tap beers is also a nice touch. The reclining seats with leg supports are super comfortable, making for a truly relaxing movie-watching experience. Best part is free refills on your popcorn, which is great since I like to take a bucket home with me :) Whether I'm catching a $6 movie on a Tuesday in one of the smaller theaters or a full-price movie in the main auditorium, it's always a great time. If you're looking for a theater with excellent food, comfortable seating, and friendly service, this is the place to go.

The seats almost fully recline, with an attached swivel table and cup holders. There is no one's head blocking the view in front of you. The screen is a good size to enjoy the film. I guess they have HD screenings I haven't checked out. If you are on a date you can move the arm rest to get cozy, or if the film is a giant yawn you can fall asleep and not bother anyone! One time I had to sit closer to the screen than I prefer, but even that seat was fine for enjoying the flick. If you still like going out to movies, taking a stroll after around the fountain or hitting up one of quite a few nearby eateries, you can make quite an event of it! Or you can just pig out on a large popcorn and enjoy the film before heading home. Some theatres can't complete with home viewing these days, so if you do venture out to the movies, make it worthwhile with this movie watching experience.
