I have PTSD and Crohn's disease. The other day, I discovered someone was using an old mughshot (3 to be exact) that were for misdeamnor charges of possesing less than 2 grams of marijuana; because in TN they feel you don't deserve to every prosper in life if you choose to smoke a little bit of weed. But hey, puff on those cigarettes and drink that alcholol, the stuff that really kills. n Trying to resolve the situation peacefully amongst the piece of exrement who was profiting off my image cost me dearly. At first we were going back and forth arguing and I was pullng up the actual law for them to read. I even told the people I dont want to harm your business and I don't want any money, just stop linking my pic to your page. That is an illegal practice unless you do compensate me or get my consent which, if we're talking money, exactly how much? (I'm keeping it real) but that was out of the question so I defintiely wanted it down. The entire site is fradulent, they offer you a link to click that they say will erase the problem you're having and they are very polite as to keep up the illusion would work. I didn't notice the link they sent was from an unsecure connection until after they gained remote access of my computer. I had been keeping track of all my attempts to be pleasent with them, and let them know hey I don't want to get the law involved I'm only asking for 3 pictures to be removed. Not removing them is leading me to believe you earn agreat some off my photo. After the 8th time tying to reason I gave up and called an attorney. After I got off the phone with the attorney, my phone shut off on its own and it has never done ethat. It came back on asking to reboot. I didn't want too because I know what was happening. So the hacker rebooted itself and emptied my entire banking account. What does this have to do with ESSENCE?! I have ptsd and crohns disease, often feeling nervous and anxious for no reason, to the point it affects my ability to communicate effectively. I love this place. The people are so friendly and seemingly genuinely concerned with my prblem. I only say seemingly because I've worked retail ad being pleasent to people is the job. But you know there are some people in life who can see the sincerity and the beautiful girl with glasses ( I love gettig her as my bud tender. She's just so nice to look at it. If I thoght my toothless ass could even have a change I would try to hook up with her for the long-term. You can just tell she is a loyal and caring perso; not too many of them these days anymore. That was two days ago. Yesterday, a guy that has been working there since the beginning was my bud tender. My only complaint was that he wasn't cute but he can't help it, it's not his fault. I'm a man too ugly so I consider myself something I wouldn;t want to look at it. But this guy is very cool and has always shown me respect and courtesy no matter wht my attitude is like. Granted Ill just rant about my problems. and not let thet get me to start talking sideways to the employees. I felt better shortly after leaving. I think it was the compassion and genuine concern about what happened to me. I love this place. I don't go to any other dispensary just becuase the poeple are so damn cool and friendly. Since my PTSD has me on heightened awareness at all times which keeps me from speaking as someone could be listening to my conversaton plotting to get me. I know that sounds crazy but that's ptsd. I won't talk abut what happeed to me. But I want to send a sincere thank you to the guy that helped me yesterday, and the woman who helped two days ago. Im the guy that got his bank account wiped out. If you happen to read this beautiful woman with glasses (that's your name because I don't know it) and are interested for soem odd reason ( I say odd because I know society views me as something I'm not, a drug addict) But I would at the very least enjoy justs being your friend if nothing else. I'm aware this may make another interaction awkward and if it makes you uncomfortable then I am truly, and deeply sorry. If it does and you are my cashier again, I won't bring it up. I'll let you bring it up if you're comfrotable. And if you would rather not wait on me in general, I won't mind waiting a little longer for someone else to assist me. Essence deserves 5 stars for the quality of the product and courtesy of the staff. They even hvae a security guard that I feel like is family from the way we communicate. recently had the displeasure of dealing with brandy one of the rudest most uninterested, careless , lowlife i have ever spoke with, for this person to be the 'manager" it is so appalling to know how unporfessional and careless i was treated, can thank every person on here for a good review but i was a regular patient for one year and have spent over 4000 dollars with essence, prob more than anyone in vegas has spent, yet im not thanked, dealt with appreciation, only reminded that money doesnt matter and that im not important, well it sure mattered enough to thank every. single. person. that commented except me,,, so they messed up for the last time and i callled to complain, and was met with ryan a "manager" at the henderson location who could only argue with me not offer a solution, or outcome, just want a pissing contest, well guess what son im not some loser working in a pot shop, i have a real job and a real education, these people false inlfated egos and sense of entitlement is sickening and allmost makes you not even want to smoke.. i was told i was banned for complaining to much...isnt that sad? and cowardly i might add, no people skills or sense of professionalism well guesss what i have 2 judges in my family and you fail to realize what you are doing is still federally illegal i promise i willl not rest until the hammer is brought down on this place! please do yourself a favor and go elsewhere, the facility prducts are garbage, desert grown is just more expensive facility stuff, cannibiotix is there premium level and they are infamous for using cancer causing chemicals to produce stronger buds, they raised the price on greenway med and virtue out of greed even though its only top shelf quality they are now charging a premium level price, and please dont waste money on a preroll they put water leaves in them!!! it is so sad we could not reach an outcome, and i was shocked when she told me i was banned for complaining that is such cowardice, even after i plead my case and told how p[assionate i was about essence and cannabis , brandy showed me zero sympathy, campassion, or empathy as a human being, and im honestly glad because i refuse to support a business like that, i already found a better place, whos inhouse flower is beyond better than anything on essences premium shelf, im talking real cannabis thats dense and has a real smell, not that fake loooking fluffy stuff that looks like it was sprayed or something.... no integrity in this business and i found that out the hard way, this sales manager brandy was horrible.... i thought the low level managers i dealt with were bad...... i thought speaking to a higher manager would mean speaking to a professional.... no just another stupid stoner who doesnt deserve the job or even grasps the importance of working in an industry like this,,, and ghetto wow she was so ghetto and street mentality it was gross, she does not deserve to be in a position like this and i will not stop until thise place is reviewed by the department of taxation, i will not except this outrage, be real you stupid bich you are mad because i forced free product out of your employess on more than 20 occassions!!! be honest thats the real problem, eben though you said my 4000 dollars didnt count you obviously care about momey to some degree dont ya? this wont be the last you here of me brandy not by a longshot, yours truly...michael mahony read more

I never thought that I would have to leave a bad review about one of my beloved dispensaries in my city Las Vegas. Essence. The selection at Essence is hands down some of the best in town, prices and reward system on point. But one bad apple ruins the bunch. Or in the case of plants one male seeds the rest lol. But anyway Lately budtenders I encounter have been giving that wonderful Essence brand of hospitality a bad name. Specifically the pickup window. If you don't know how to use the green Rush system maybe you should learn from someone that does. It's an inconvenience to the customer. Especially in a high-traffic area such as the strip location. Also as a local to have to deal with set backs at the window to have to be told that if they have a spur-of-the-moment mind change you must stand in the long line with the rest. Doesn't that defeat the purpose of the window? Granted most of the time you go to the window you know what you want but you may see something new or remember that feeling of that strain and change your mind. It is very rude for the budtender to assume that you would like a different strain because they ran out of the one you originally requested. How about give the customer the opportunity to pick something else that they might have their desire for. Also try to be attentive to your regulars especially your local regulars like myself. In life stuff happens that's understandable. Technology fails that's also understandable. But what is not understandable is if I place a order and you notify me my order is ready for pickup but when I get to the window im met with inconveniences that you ran out of my product and tried to notify me but failed to do so. And now have a smug attitude as if it's my fault after I present proof that I did not receive the notification. This has happened to me on multiple occasions im a local born and raised in Las Vegas Nevada. I pay taxes just like everyone else. I do not enjoy standing in long lines behind amatures who don't know their strains or there Terpene profile or even want they want for that matter so there for the green Rush online ordering system is very helpful to me. And I believe that was the purpose of it in the first place for us locals and US marijuana Savvy people to be able to get in and out .But it is an inconvenience when I have to deal with tenders who really don't know how to operate the system correctly or are just in such a rush that they tell me my order is ready when it is actually Incorrect. I'm hoping this is just a glitch in the wonderful hospitality that the essence usually offers but remember One Bad Apple ruins the bunch. P.S. The reason i say to the incompetent budtender who does not know how to operate the system properly you should learn from one of your fellow employees is because I must give recognition to those who do know how to operate the system. Those who do know how to notify correctly through multiple factions such as placing a phone call or a text message in a email all in a timely manner. Osiyo My Fellow friends and patients; Essence.. The ONLY dispensary i know that is giving and extra 10% off to Medical patients to help ease the tax increase. Through July 18th. And you can use it on top of all the great deals they offer... Having over 35 years experience with cannabis, I would like to offer some "Hopefully Helpful" information on the recent turn of events with the start of recreational Cannabis sales as of July 1st. The passage of ballot question 2 was voted on and passed whether you voted YES or NO and recreational use was legal as of January 1st of this year. I want to emphasize I respect everyone's vote and opinion. I and a patient and strong advocate of the medical and personal benefits cannabis use. I've witnessed a lot of surprise and anger for medical patients due to the recent tax increase and availability to get their medication in a timely manner do to the onslaught of recreational sales. "This is not !" I repeat this is not the dispensaries fault! All the taxes rules and regulations were included in the ballot when it was passed. All medical patients including myself and those on fixed incomes have had 8 months to prepare for this tax increase and strain on availability and access. Along with the tax increase it was also stated that only current licensed medical dispensaries would be allowed to sell recreational cannabis for the first 18 months. All the information a medical patient needs is on social media the internet. I hear complaints from medical patients that dispensaries are understaffed. I have not heard this about essence at all.... But please be aware of this... As of July 1st all dispensary staff applications have been put on hold due to the transition of Licensing from NV DSHS to the Nv. Board of Taxation per the authorization of the FBI. What this means is as of July 1st no dispensaries can hire any new personnel who's applications were not submitted previous to July 1st. Untill the Nevada Board of Taxation draws up the new guidelines for the application of agent cards and receives the okay from the FBI on the language and terminology of such application. The staffing of the industry is temporarily halted... Just as it was in Colorado when the legalization of recreational cannabis was passed there was a flood of people coming from all over to purchase recreational cannabis. Now it's happening here.... This time of what some people call turmoil... will pass. Be thankful that cannabis is still available to us medical patients. Although it may take some time for the prices to come down and balance out. For the system to get dialed in... I strongly urge everybody just to stay mellow patient and positive. read more

"THE WORST DISPENSARY IN CLARK COUNTY" When you enter the reception area you will see a small room filled to the max with about 8 people with 2 of them checking you in. The other people are laughing, socializing and using every profane word that there is. Once inside you will find that over half the budtenders pants are falling below their butts as they parade and show off their underwear to you. The budtender that helped us couldn't complete a sentence without using the word F**k at least 2 to 3 times. While standing there waiting for him to fill our order, a young female in her early 20's was bending over and gave us a full view of her butt crack, sheer g-string underwear, and a tattoo on her back. The customer next to us was making plans with the budtender about a smoke party that night at his house where he would bring the marijuana for the guy so he could get it at a cheaper price. This place is a total joke and should be shut down. The music kept getting louder and louder to the point that once our budtender returned we could not hear a thing that he was saying. I guess this was a blessing as we had heard enough profanity to last us a lifetime. Clearly, these budtenders aren't paid enough as they can not afford a belt and are selling marijuana after hours on the side. This place is like going to a sleazy bar. The management of this place should be fired and the license should be revoked. Apparently, this company has NO HR department. We will never go back to this disgusting place. The dispensary that we now go to, told us that they get a regular flow of new customers daily with similar or worst stories than ours. Totally unprofessional. You will have a better experience buying in a back alley on the black market than at Essence in Henderson. Don't waste your time and money with this trashy place. read more

I am a bilateral amputee, meaning I have lost both feet and a portion of both legs below the knee have been amputated. There is a good amount of pain that comes along with that. In addition things that most people would not think about like hip pain from sitting at least 15 hours a day literally. The human body was built for movement not inactivity and being motionless so until I get my prosthetics which will be about a year from now I deal with the hip pain, pain in my glutes, also shoulder and arm pain as my arms get used to lift my entire weight when moving to the bed or the commode etc. Imagine working out intensely and being sore the next day and you have to do it all over again....every day! It is painful. The doctors gave me dilaudid (basically synthetic heroin) and morphine. The side effects I experienced with these two drugs was halucinations and constipation we are not talking mild on either effect it was severe. So I turned to medical marijuana, thank god I live in a state that allows this. That being said Essence Cannabis Dispensary particularly the Sunset location was awesome helping me figure out what I needed what strains may work best for me and so on. The people were awesome not at all what I expected. These people knew their stuff! and they were not walking around stoned or anything like that. Very upscale, courteous and professional. We live close to this location but that really doesn't matter since they offer delivery and it is very reasonable for the delivery charge. Being that until now I have not smoked in over 25 years it was very helpful to have someone to ask advice, no question was responded to like I should already know the answer. In a nut shell a great experience! I will follow up after I get my first delivery today from them to let you know how that goes. read more

I've been to a handful of dispensaries in the Las Vegas area and Essence (I've been to three of them) has ALWAYS been a much better experience. Some make you wait in a waiting room before you go in, some service you from behind glass, some have you ring a buzzer to get in and then you have Essence. They do it right. You walk right into the check-in area and are quickly let into the store area where you wait in a line. Usually waiting in lines suck but not here. You can look at the stuff and chat with people before you're called to go up. It has ALWAYS been a great experience. We've dealt with many people at Essence (and they've all been great) but a guy named Dorian goes WAY beyond what you would expect. He always has great info and recommendations. It shows well that he studies and loves what he does. This is why I only go to the Essence in Henderson. My wife is new to the MMJ scene and was a little nervous about coming into a place that sells it. Dorian and Essence has always makes her comfortable and answers her questions about what might help me better. All I can say is that people like Dorian and the other people Essence hires, along with the great prices, should make Essence very successful and I'm glad to patronize this establishment. Okay so essence for sure has become me and my brothers favorite places to go to. For a lot of reasons other then low prices. They also have good discounts and they help with the veterans. Their staff is some of the top of the line that I have ever come across from the hardworking ladies up front (sometimes some of the guys as well) to the friendly professional bud tenders in the back. These are people who wanna get to know their patients and what you like and have no problem with you wanting to see a specific bud tender who knows what you like so its fast and easy. Also I can't leave out the dedicated security guards those are some people who are great to talk to so stop to say hello to one of them. P.S. they got a new grower in called KIEF I'm sure who grow Blackjack and Super lemon haze I've had both and let me tell you something Essence I would hate to see them go if you haven't made a decision on weather or not to keep buying from them also that green crack from Natures is Top of the line as well. On 4/20 there was an amazing sale at Rise dispensary in Henderson, Nv. I recently have needed to get a ride places, so I've been trying to make things easy. I put in an online order like I do often with this location early in the morning. I got the email stating my order was good. Later that evening I got a ride and when I got there I was informed my promotion price ounce was never scanned and they no longer had any. Ben was my budtender and wanted to see that I got helped with this issue. She called over her manager Kelly to help with this. I explained how I had to wait all day for a ride and I would have been fine if someone called me ahead of time to tell me the order wasn't fulfilled. Kelly and Ben talked about what they could do. Kelly informed me he could give me the other promotional oz and make it the cheaper promotional price. He was awesome and changed it in the computer. Both of them were great with this mistake. So if you like waiting 45 minutes to an hour+ in line whether shopping inside or via pull-up even after you order online and you like compounding this experience of extra slow service by an angsty moron named Ryan who will ignore you after you've been pulled in to redeem said order then you should come here. Seriously you can't hire people like this. I go to Essence almost daily and have NEVER been treated like Ryan treated me today. Everyone is usually wonderful, even if I can tell they are having a bad day. Someone pulled up next to me after I was instructed to finally park and the employee responsible for that space was on top of it IMMEDIATELY tending to them.. Me however.. my attendant was Ryan who had his back turned and was continuing to not pay attention. I got his attention finally and wouldn't ya know it.. he responds with "WHAT?!?"..
