The atmosphere was beautiful, the venue was clean, and the ladies at check-in were incredibly welcoming and friendly. Unfortunately, the security staff completely changed the experience. My boyfriend and I had just gotten in line for tattoos when we (and others) were rudely confronted because we weren't standing inside the black divider. There were no signs explaining where to wait, and we had been inside for less than five minutes. Instead of politely directing everyone, the security supervisor interrogated my boyfriend about why we were standing there, then walked away with an attitude. The female security guard continued yelling at everyone and making passive-aggressive comments like, "It's not hard, y'all. I already got in trouble because of y'all. Let's go!" Several people in line commented on how rude and unnecessarily stern both the guard and her supervisor were. Having a position of authority doesn't excuse speaking to customers with disrespect. A simple request would've accomplished the same thing. There is a professional, courteous way to communicate expectations without being condescending, aggressive, or looking for conflict. Respect should be the bare minimum, especially toward the people keeping your business running. read more

As always, I accompanied my friend to Planet 13, and locals get half off of flower and prerolls. I do not engage in smoking, but I do enjoy looking around at the largest dispensary because there are a lot of items and merchandise to choose from, and I do learn a lot every time I visit. I've been to Planet 13 several times when in Vegas and it's a pretty cool destination. I find the cannabis prices to be a couple notches above other shops in the area, but the experience is TOP notch. It's just off the strip and has a nice parking lot for those of us with cars to drive over. It's open 24 hours! Now they obviously have a big store here which is cool, but there's so much more! Planet 13 is a cannabis enthusiast's dream! I prefer to smoke over drinking, so the consumption lounge was my first stop. We had a very cool tender who took the best care of us, answering all questions patiently and never once did we feel rushed or like we were up against the clock for the 90 minute session. The cocktails? Divine. The prerolls were sublime. Dazed! is clean and decorated with great fun and enthusiasm. I've been shopping at Planet 13 for years and I've used the locals discount plenty of times. I usually buy the premium 3.5g flower, so I noticed the change in the new locals program right away. Before, the flower I was buying was $71 and locals got 50% off, so I was paying $35.50. Now they lowered the regular price to $60, but they also lowered the locals discount from 50% to 30%. That makes my price $42. So basically: Old: $71 with 50% off = $35.50 New: $60 with 30% off = $42 I'm paying $6.50 more for the same type of premium flower I was buying before. That's what disappointed me. When I first saw that the regular price had dropped from $71 to $60, I thought cool, they lowered their prices. Then I saw the locals discount had also changed and actually did the math. My final price didn't go down, it went up. I'm not saying I've had problems with the employees or the store itself. I've actually kept coming here because I liked the selection and the locals pricing. My issue is specifically with this change and how it affects what I personally pay. The new promotion says "new ways to save," but from my experience, paying $42 for something I was previously getting for $35.50 isn't saving me money. I attached screenshots from the old locals promotion, the old pricing, and the new promotion so people can see exactly what I'm referring to. I'm a medical patient, every time I come in, the check-in people start raising their voice for me to go right, esp the Mexican looking girl with the glasses and bad ATTITUDE. Tired of them speaking to me like that. Instead of just complaining, I will offer a suggestion: when someone comes in, ASK THEM if they are medical. Don't start assuming right away I'm a recreational customer. The bud is very dry, but that's another story. read more

Was visiting Vegas from Los Angeles for my birthday weekend so needed some goodies while in town. Obviously I have a lot of options back home but I was pleased to see how many great options there are here in Nevada and Vegas. I would say Planet 13 is my favorite of the dispensaries in town just because all of the staff are consistently very polite and helpful and they really do have a lot of great options. There is also a tattoo shop, merchandise store, and a separate business where you can buy product and use it there, among other things. In terms of square footage, this place is gigantic and you really do get a lot of bang for your buck in one visit. I was able to find a lot of great options to use while in town and also bring back with me. I feel the pricing is fair, even though a bit more than you would spend at some other smaller places, but that's to be expected given the quality. I would highly recommend to any enthusiast or to anyone that is new to the lifestyle. I will be back next time I am in town. read more

Having multiple challenges with on line, delivery orders. The department is very dysfunctional & randomly cancels orders. I placed a large order last night for AM delivery only to learn that it was cancelled- this is the 3rd time. Also, I believe that confirmed items in my orders were pulled to accommodate someone else (especially on sale items). Not very customer service friendly especially with repeat/medical patients. Losing confidence in their operation. Once an order is confirmed- that should always stand- if a change is required due to inventory mistake- call the customer, at minimum. Same with order cancellations. A basic courtesy. When did caring about service exit the building? This is an unethical business practice! read more

The level of incompetence is ungodly. I legitimately have been at the counter for one hour while this person tries to round up the products I ordered. He's gotten the price wrong three times and he's working on his second manager already to figure things out. If you're not gonna honor the deals you have on the menu don't put them on there. It's clear as day. I shouldn't have to wait one hour to pay the correct price and get the products I ordered. This place is a straight up tourist trap and if you're not a local they're gonna hit you SO HARD you're gonna need pillow to sit on. This is the biggest dispensary in the world and worth a visit. Really cool to see but I wouldn't need more than 20 minutes in there. They have a pizza place inside, 10$ tattoos, consumption area, and more. Kind of feels like a small mall or shopping area. Cool to see but definitely a one time stop. read more

This place is absolutely massive. It feels like a theme park for adult adults. It was a dispensary there was cigars you had a bar as well. I mean there is everything even nice lounge just for people to sit after you get your items. I was super impressed. I wish I could have seen more so it is definitely on my next stop. The girl outside checking in people for rideshare today at two o'clock is extremely rude before checking and people and refuses to give her name. Because she said she's scared of people. Finding her outside of work, she has her name, badge intentionally turned around. On purpose. You should also put on your signage that you don't do payouts.For employees drop offs. The staff truly make this location fantastic! I was greeted when I got out of my uber at the front of the location by a friendly employee, who was also willing to take pictures if needed;) When I entered the building, the wonderful woman at the desk helped create an account for me with my medical card from another state, and was kind enough to answer all my questions and walk me through the process kindly. Once inside, I describe it like a shopping mall. There are little food fronts, a candy/ snack store, a tattoo shop, a consumption room, and of course the main attraction. It is almost overwhelming, the store has everything you could think of from a bud perspective. I really have not explored dispensaries a lot. I have my card for a cancer diagnosis and use what works and that's it. However, this shop had many national brands, different strands and even some of their own award winning greens. I was looking for Willie's brand and they were out. I was able to be directed to other options which was nice. Prices are a decent value, with my usuals being approx the same as in my home state after my medical application. The budtender also relieved some of my worry of traveling with my purchases on my person. If you are in Vegas and near this fun , large location, stop in. The selection here is huge! They have pretty much whatever you want when it comes to this. For locals with a valid ID, you get a good discount and the value is there. I also collect points with each purchase and get free goodies which makes the value a little better. The service has always been good for me. The staff are all friendly and knowledgeable. I visited Planet 13 on Sat 11/16/2024 and I must say I was excited to be there. I was in Vegas for the first time and this is the place I wanted to be...My experience was HORRIBLE. While purchase experience was fine, the employees to me were great, until I noticed my friends standing with a security guard being told they had to leave I had no clue what was going on and was asking what happened. Security refused to tell me what was the problem just they had to leave. He started reading something from some card over and over counting down AS WE ARE WALKING OUT. I am still saying sir can you tell me at least what they did? as we are approaching the door another security guard comes over and in a split second they roughly grabbed my friend and proceeded to handcuff her...I walked over and said hey hey what are you doing why are you doing this, then I'm being grabbed and forcibly pushed up against a glass. and pushed out of the doors...STILL not told why my friends were being kicked out for and certainly had no reason to throw me out. While outside I asked about my friend who they handcuffed and whisked away, he refused to tell me anything but YOU"RE BEING TRESSPASSED! I said okay fine whatever THAT means but please tell me what is going on with my friend...what happens now? How do we get her? What do we need to do...he refused to answer anything, got disrespectful and in my face with his hands on his cuffs, just being threatening. Next thing I know I'm being put in handcuffs and escorted to the back. I left there bruised and banned for 2 years and I STILL don't know why.
