    I moved out of The Rise 7-8 months ago, and now they're trying to charge me $700 from Jetty! I already paid the move-out fee, so this is outrageous. Initially they charge a fee instead of a deposit which is non refundable. When moving out, dont even bother trying to clean your apartment when you leave; it's pointless. They'll hit you with paint and cleaning fee of over $500-700 regardless of how good it looks. It's infuriating that after all this time, they're still trying to scam former residents for more money. My experience at The Rise was decent at first, but they really need to get their act together with their billing department. I'm not the only one dealing with this nonsense. I urge everyone to be on high alert; don't let them double-charge you. I've had enough of Greystar's financial screw-ups-- pay close attention to your invoices! This is just ridiculous.

    Random move out charges, not transparently communicated, and don't respond

    I highly suggest reading some of the other 1-star reviews on Yelp and Google. I experienced the same issues others reported and you likely will too. This property is managed by Greystar, and they seem to have a pattern of mishandling move-out charges. Upon moving out, expect unexpected fees ranging from $400 to $1,000. When I reached out for clarification, they failed to respond. I was also charged a "late fee" for a bill I never received any notification about. The original management team (Angela, Stacy, Jeff, etc.) was pretty solid, but new management took over in mid-2024, and their inexperience shows. They are unresponsive to inquiries and lack professionalism. While the location is relatively convenient (Zion Market), the building itself is mediocre at best. The construction quality is poor, with inadequate insulation--you can hear neighbors' footsteps above clearly and the cabinets are have a flimsy wood construction. Wondering where are these 5 star reviews came from.

    11/19/2024 I asked these people to adjust the price, but they raised the price and joked that it was the adjusted price lol 저는 이 사람들한테 가격을 조정을 요청을했더니 가격을 올려놓고 조정된 가격이라고 장난을하고있네요 11/12/2024The price of one studio is almost $700 when moving out is crazy. I don't have any pets so I use it very cleanly and I think it is overrated. You should check it out before you move in. I asked the manager to adjust the price but it went to collections. I should leave a review on all the relevant sites. It's unfair. 와 여기 방 깨끗하게 쓰고 스튜디오 하나인데 방뺄때 가격이 거의 $700불이라니 미친거같은데요.. 저는 동물을 키우지도않았고 엄청깨끗하게 썻는데 너무 과한 청구를하는거같아요. 입주할때 잘 알아보고 하셔야할거같아요 모든 사람들의 리뷰가 이사나갈때 비슷하네요 저는 매니저한테 가격을 조정을 요청하였고 해준다고하고 콜렉션으로 넘겼어요. 관련된 모든 사이트에 리뷰를 남겨야할거같아요. 너무 부당해요.

The building also has a really nice gym, which has been a huge plus for me. It's convenient, clean, and well-maintained. The neighbors are friendly, and the overall community feels welcoming. One of the biggest reasons I've enjoyed living here so much is because of Danny and Stephanie. They're always helpful, responsive, and truly care about the people who live here. They don't make you feel like just another tenant -- they treat you like family. Anytime something needs attention or an issue comes up, they handle it very quickly and efficiently. It's reassuring knowing management actually cares and takes action right away. I'm really grateful to call this place home and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to live in the area.

If you have two spaces and don't have two cars, you can always get them into your other space to avoid street parking. With meters and lots all over the area, what else would expect from the city life? It's safe here and frequently monitored by SouthPark officers as well. What I'll sorely miss about this place were the relationships that I built. I knew the entire staff and would wave, talk, and truly lean in with them all. Whether it was before/after work, going out for the night, or chatting, they were more than friendly. They became my community of friends. They felt like family. The landlord, Sabrina, is an absolute dream to have on your team. She's personable, she listens, she cares, and she will do what it takes to make you confident in your home. Her team member Alex, is so sweet and hard working. Both of them rock a smile daily, and are very easy to talk to. The building is clean, they keep the units up to date and working efficiently and effectively. I went from a 2 bedroom, to a 1 bedroom over the course of a handful of years. My partner and I at the time were the very first renters to secure a unit in the brand new built complex. It was a virtually perfect living experience for us, and then myself alone in the one bed unit. Better late than never, I HIGHLY recommend this complex as a hop-skip-jump away from Sunset Blvd and all Silver Lake and Echo Park have to offer.
